I wanted to post a pic of gerties fibers cuz she captured the colors in one of the segmented tubes really well. The reason also being that it reminded me of a pic I had on my discs from my earlier days with morgs. I can't even remember how I happened to capture the colors like I did back then, but I'm sure it was a sample from my head cuz that's where it all started with me. I think this shows even more that these rainbow colored particles are what makes up the segmented tubes we all seem to have. We all have a form of goo as well, which I believe produces the different colored particles. So here's gerties rainbow colored tube... and here's my particles in motion... These particles the gel produces (my opinion of course) must have some form of energy since I also believe they're what causes the motion in our hair once they've taken it over. I mean doesn't this pic look like alot of energy to you? Just sharing my thoughts... love ya's ~~ bannanny

Bannanny, this is so weird, here you are mentioning this (the rainbow colored fibers) and I saw one for the first time ever - yesterday on my slide. And yes, it was just that (rainbow colored) in segments just like what you've posted. Thank you.
Where or what is that, the multicolored particles... I mean "where did that come from" and the size of it, is it on your slide? Or is it the rainbow colored fiber magnified more? Sorry for all the questions, but just not sure what it is.

Ya know toni, I can't remember if that was taken at 60x or 200x. Probably 60 tho, cuz I never could get a very good pic at 200 without using an additional light (which I very well could've been using tho at the time that pic was taken.) I remember trying to get pics alot in the beginning at 200 when I got my scope, which was when this pic was taken. But after a short time of messin around with it, I gave up and almost always stayed with 60x. So I can't say for sure what the mag was, but it looks like 60x to me... there's just a massive group of particles in one spot is all.
I was amazed by it then and still am at how bright the colors are... in fact I doubt I even knew what a segmented tube was back then. You never know either... maybe things were different in the early stages and the tubes weren't something the particles were even forming into yet.
I do remember that sample was from my head (where this started for me) and the more I've been thinkin about it, I think it was a day I was feeling pretty petrified and pis*ed off at the same time. I probably just grabbed some tape and yanked it hard across the spot that was driving me to the brink of total fear... and that's what showed up under the scope.
I think I just got lucky and hit the things with the tape at the right time and place. That's usually how I get some of my better pics... I go for where I feel the extreme intesity of this sh*t and I go for it really fast. I think most of the rest of it is how lucky your timing is... this stuff can move away as fast as lightening, as tho it can sense anything that's moving towards it ya know? It's also always amazed me that getting samples that way doesn't seem to tear anything morgs apart at all... and it amazes me how it will even travel right thru the tape too. It'll even become permeated into the tape itself and still produce from there. The stickiness of the tape doesn't even hold this stuff back... yeah, it's even beyond bizarre to me anymore.
I have some other pics of the same colors (looking like they're in motion) but with fewer and fewer particles on each sample I got. I'll have to go thru some other discs to find them... not up to doin that tonight tho. I'm still a bit dizzy every now and then and keep layin back down. It's taking me forever to post tonight! So anyway... c'mon girl, let's see the colors you saw yesterday ok?

That really is incredible (your specimen) from your head there.
That rainbow fiber I saw on my slide...believe me, I could kick myself for not just taking one little second to get a pic of it.
The thought went though my head when I saw it, and you know how that goes...you think eh....I won't, but then later you wish you would have? It's one of those. I didn't get a pic. There was something else on my slide I was getting pics of, and neglected that rainbow fiber. But - I saw it myself. And was double surprised to see that I'm not the only one who has so I'm glad for your picture of it.

Ahhh, the trials of not catching one in action eh? I've done that lots of times myself!
There's a ton of those colors tho, especially in the tubes. They just don't always seem to fluoresce quite so bright most times like they are in that older pic of mine. It's rare you see them in such a large mass too. I've never gotten another pic like that one again.

You're right. That fiber I had on my slide (it was truly) multicolored striped, like the colors of the rainbow!
And that WAS the first time I'd ever seen anything like that. (I'm still wishing I would have taken that one little second) to take that picture. Darn. I won't do that again, next time I see something odd/different than the "usual stuff" ...I'm not missing that boat again.

You know Bannannys that beats all, that photo is incredible !!!!!!!!!!! I have seen the rainbow colors but mostly in the bubbles and hair ...you think it's the lighting or the timing when they shine like that ? I don't think I have ever seen the particles light up like that ...my thoughts are that it is in 200x ..... But it make sense that if that's what the gel produces , the gel is a bubble like sack and when it burst it releases these rainbow particles. And the particles are the things that catch my eye when I'm folding clothes or even on my body if I'm in the right sunlight. Toni ,I love your photos under your name..it makes me want to be there and swim cuz I love water but not that much anymore ... good night you two, massena

Yeah, I think it's a pretty amazing pic too massena.... weird, but amazing just the same. I don't think it had anything to do with the lighting cuz I used pretty much the same lighting all the time. Timing? Yeah, I think I just got lucky with that one. I guess the time was just right for gettin what I got. The colors catch my eye way too often anymore too. Bright red, blue and white sparks everywhere lately... I've also been seeing alot of bright silver squiggly lookin lines in the mix now too. It makes me very uneasy when I see that sh*t. I feel like I'm walking right into an electrical maze of what I don't know, but it's one of the things that really get to me. Especially when I see them on me when I'm laying in bed. It creeps me out big time. I put your pic here for ya... it's a good one too massena. Looks an awful lot like the sparks I see... love ya ~~ bannanny
