I wonder if my med records would be of interest to Dr Wymore since my dr believed me from day one and has done and continues to run so many tests I couldnt begin to count them. Maybe it could at least help him eliminate things. Or am I being naive to think they could be of any help?

Dr. Wymore gets so much e-mail that he can't possibly read and answer it all. She would know what to tell you better than I.

Oh I would never just have them sent without his expressed interest. I dont like the thought of someone reading through my records-why I dont know cause there's nothing embarrassing to see. Unless of course the time I shoved a box of raisins up my nose to avoid eating them finds its way in there But as you all know morgellons doesnt much care about dignity and if stepping on mine provides clues, I'll get over it!

Not trying to push this but for an example, I had a cortisol test that consisted of having blood drawn at 8am and again at 4pm sharp (same day). My results were exactly reversed for normal range. In other words say normal range for morning draw is "A" and normal for afternoon is "B". Mine were a complete reversal. She made me get the test 2 more times with same results. Shes baffled.

What lab was used ? Anyone who is sick and stressed - especially involving any infection is likely to have cortisol out of wack - even more so if your sleep patterns are not regular. If your morning is not usually 8 am then testing at 8 am would yeild those results. Not saying you do not have regular sleeping hours - but that could do it alone.
The thing about testing adrenal hormones is that any given test really is just a snap shot - more so than with other tests ... because DHEA and cortisol take turns going high and low, both low, both high - there is a pattern that has been noticed by Dr. Posenicker (sp?) that involves many stages of adrenal exhaustion. At one point my DHEA was high and those who did not know better said that is good. It was not - it was one of the stages along the way and it was compensating for other hormone's being out of wack. Then is went too low . In order to get an idea of where you are along the continuum, you need to continue to be tested to see where you were and where you are going. I cannot find the website that had the descriptions of all the stages but I am quite sure it was realted to Posenicker. Hans Seyle did a lot of work with this too.

Yeah liatris my dr wasnt really concerned. It was just one of those things she noted . Without fail, something that I think will be a clue, she finds incidental. The opposite is true too. I shrugged off things as nuisances that were pretty telling. I dont wanna play doctors anymore. My neighbor is digging in the dirt and I wanna play too

From what I understand, Dr Wymore only studies samples and avoids medical records that might influence his judgment.... I could be wrong though..

Duh Of course you're right rhorn. It was one of those things thats obvious the second you hear/see it. Well it seemed like a good idea at the time! Sooooo--maybe it (med rec) can help our LymeBusters Board-(Certified) researchers! I ordered copies of my records not paying attention that cost was based on # of pages. When mr kiki saw what I paid he said lets hope the file is as thick as the new mattress I wont be getting anytime soon. Guess he thinks that passes for clever. I wont get it for 10-14 days but now I question why I got it cause I wont understand it anyway.
