The past few weeks Ive said things in the wrong order. Like shut behind you the door and out turn the light. The second I say it I know its wrong. I also have said a wrong word in a otherwise normal sentence. I will never go back to Quest in a nearby town- had a good many tubes of blood drawn and was told to sit for a min. I stood and instead of saying Im ok, I can walk I said Im ok I can f**k As if that werent enough, my mom was in waiting room 2ft from me and thank goodness she knew I was mortified and made light of it saying Youre not too old to have your mouth washed out with soap. I laughed but it really ate at me thinking how awful it would be if I couldnt trust myself to talk anymore. I mean you cant just go around saying things like that. Im scared of what will come out next. Anyone else do this?

Oh goodness Kiki, ;Dhehehehe Something we (me and Mr T) find ourselves doing ALL the time and then we laugh like hell, even though it's not really funny-because we know (Morgs) is causing it, but how our words come out when we're talking. We transpose the first letters of words all the time (and it;s so automatic)! hahaha The funniest thing Mr T said, and we still laugh about it is.... One day I wanted (this was at Thanksgiving). I was making that sweet potato bake with pineapple. Well..he's in the grocery store, and called me because he wasn't sure if I needed "chunk pineapple" or what kind. But what he said TWICE on the phone to me was: Honey, do you want sliced pineapple or ( punk chineapple) instead of chunk pineapple? hhahaha ( still crack up about that one) but that's what we do, is it seems automatically the first letters of words get transposed, and then the words become silly actually...so we laugh about it and say a wire came lose momentarily! ;D My sis does that all the time too...transposes the same first letters. She was telling me one day about how years ago, someone had taken her rent money, and she said - someone took her "mont reny" - again instead of rent money. She's got the same thing going on, as it happens all the time too. Do you ever do that? Mix up the first letters like that? I mention this cause we really do this ALL the time...lately. I've even typed with the letters transposed, and had to go back and correct it. It's really odd how the brain is doing this (because of Lyme or Morgs)....I don't know but the letter switch so quickly it's obivous when we're talking, so we just laugh about it, cause it's all we can do right now.

Oh Friskers, ;D You're not alone, that's for sure. I do the same thing too, blank out here and there on words, like it's no where to be found, or the spelling of them! Easy words too. It's like we all probably say - now how can we forgot the spelling of something like that? Or talking on the phone (both of us) talking will completely forget what the heck we were even saying a few seconds ago. Now I'll go cry . hahah not really-won't go there. This is scary though.

Toni that reminds me of when I said whip the tater instead of tip the waiter--(more than once no less!). Once mr. kiki asked if I ticked a pie for him. Told him no I kept my tick to myself. Friskers I called Kohls dept store after seeing an ad for a pair of shoes. The color choices were fruit named. When they answered I asked if they had a size 5 blueberry.

OMG! Me too! Am transposing all the time now...and can't find the correct words to use and end up saying something foolish! Thank God I'm not working any longer, or I'd get fired! Those ivory towers don't look kindly on us 'idiots' or did I mean to say, 'our idiosyncracies' Whatever! At first I thought it was age related, ya know? Then it became more evident each time it happened. It also happens when I'm writing too...but at least I can go back and change it then, IF I remember to! Guhs, ctbarb

Yeah. Isn't that weird? I type dyslexic all the time. Very simple words.. suddenly stumped on how to spell them. Or things slipping out all wrong.

I do that a lot, too. Especially typing; I just can't put it together correctly, but fortunately I can look at it and see it is wrong. Sometimes I have to look up the spelling of fairly simple words, and I was always very strong in verbal skills - spelling, etc. Also have trouble retrieving words/names. It seems to have gotten better, but I still have my days, especially if I haven't gotten enough sleep.

Friends I find myself doing this all the time. Much more with typed and written words though. With spoken words more often I can't remember words or I substitute a different word. And when i get fatigued its ten times worse. I can't resist putting in this funny little story. Just in proccess of moving and new place has a fireplace. While looking on the mantle I saw the hugest spider outside of a tarantula that I have ever seen. Huge black spider. Called my honey Greg over to get it out of the house! He says show me, I don't see a spider. I pointed to a black smudge and he says "honey your busted!".
Well now I am thinking the morgs has really made me crazy delusional! Maybe dementia is setting in. I walk back over to the mantle. There is the spider and I call out, Greg-Bear um come here, Therereally is a spider here. I have my eyes locked on that spider awaiting his confirmation of its existance. He says well honey you really should believe in yourself. That is a mighty big spider. It sounds funny but I have never been so relieved to see a giant spider in my house !

It sounds funny but I have never been so relieved to see a giant spider my house ! Have to laugh cause I so get it! I actually feel victorious when a test is positive or shows somethings off. I get kinda obnoxious about it-- like Ive been vindicated. It doesnt stop me one bit when Mr kiki tries to shut me up by saying Your preaching to the choir, I never doubted you're sick. But I had the last word cause a few wks later he asked for the umpteenth time if I ordered something. He was exasperated and asked why I said I would , if I wasnt gonna follow through. Well I had a miracle inspiration and said Well that was said with the part of my brain that has those mystery morg spots and I cant be responsible for my poor sick brain! That throw him for a loop ;D

Toni - I have always loved chineapple punks - though I have never had them with peet swotatos ! In fact, when I was little, my mother always used to give me chottage ceese and chineapple punks for lunch ! Gosh, this is fun ;D !
