I read it, and it's very good. Excellent in fact.
What I got from it, was basically what I'd call a clarification. And it's very understandable.
Thank you MRF.
And thank you JJ.

Thanks for pointing things out Rhorn & kmarie. Articles will move from journals home page eventually.
For easier visability & access, the subject line & the links above were changed in the stickied thread from yesterday morn.
Added direct links to the PDF and Abstract for those who can't access PDF's.

Thanks rhorn... good to know whenever anything comes out about it. Love the two new grant proposal info too! I sure hope someone will say something about the environment one of these days... but I know there's gonna be more to follow. I'm grateful it's being studied at all. So onward and upward eh?
I noticed the commonalities under vitals was low core temp and high resting heart rate... my resting heart rate is usually anywhere from 90 to 120. Ooooh goody, I qualify! Sorry, I'm just in one of those moods.
hugs ~~ bannanny

Yeah, I agree Karen. Morgellons could even be a mutant strain of Lyme for all we know. It's been in the back of my mind for a long time that something could've been added to Lyme... and that certain "something" + Lyme = morgellons.I wish I could find a Lyme doc my HMO would cover... but it ain't gonna work that way. Sh*t, I wish I could just find a doc who wouldn't make me feel isolated and small... like I'm not even worth listening to, ya know? Yeah, of course you know duh! love ya ~~ bannanny

I know (Kmarie and Bannanny) it seems possible, gosh anything does anymore I think NIH said there appears to be an association with Lyme, not really 'related to' which that also is vague in a sense, unless they mean they "go hand in hand, one with the other" or can't have one without the other. But they're not really exactly factual by saying appears either. When I think of the word associated, there becomes a division (as they've written it). Just as though if you were associated with me, doesn't mean you're related to me. That would mean we're "together as two entities". (maybe I'm dissecting too much) hahaha (just taking their little bit of wording (the crumbs were given) from NIH and looking it is all).

the report states that delusion of parasitosis and morgellons are the same illness but with the reversal of the cause-effect order, and that both have an infectious origin.
i've looked at the lesions of drug addicts (internet) and they look the same as morgellons...............
it makes me wonder about the NIH and the chromosome duplication of 1q42, that one of the abberations is bi-polar and schizophrenia, maybe psychosis (can't quite remember)
it makes me wonder about environmental chromosomal damage and what do they know but are not saying.
