This is an amazing deal guys. This is the woman Ive been doing yoga with for a couple years now (at home from video)...Susan winter Ward... I LOVE her! They are wanting to get rid of inventory and offering her video for 90% off! "young at heart" is the one i practice too and I cant Tell you how much its changed my life. I have more energy , feel calmer and feel so much happier since doing yoga 5 times a week. The best news is the fibromyalgia pain is practically gone ...about 95 percent gone! Its a Senior yoga tape but anyone can do it and benefit, I'm only 50 but all other yoga Ive tried always made me hurt worse afterwords . This is very gentle but even still a couple of the poses I count do at first but can now. Please try it and this deal is only till supplies are out so HURRY!! heres the link and you can see her on the short video from the link . its about 10 minutes . I'm sure you will agree how great she looks. www.yogaheart.com/index_freevhs.htmlClick on her pic to get the video up. One other great thing is I need an hour less sleep on the nights I do yoga so really no excuse for not having time ! She really has saved me from having to find some other kind of work ,I used to hurt so bad I didn't think I could go on for much longer .I met a man my age who said the work was just too hard for him and couldn't do it anymore. Its wonderful to be practically pain free now!

So happy for you friskers... wonder if it would help my spinal diseases? If I even try to get in a certain pose that takes any kind of bending to do, I usually get stuck there! Nope you men out there... you wouldn't want me stuck in that position forever would you? Then again...

Hmmm I dont know Bannans if yoga could help that ( spine)or not . There is a chair yoga tape that might work and if it did require bending you could just skip that part. You know a lot of the healing that takes place in yoga is from the breath. If you just did deep breathing for an hour you would also see great benefits

I just watched the video there, it was great! Yes, this is a very easy exercise to stand and bend and extend the arms and pull in the belly button as she says. Oh...it FELT SO GOOD just watching. I'm going to have to go do this myself, just because it looks so good in giving the body the first awakening of the morning! I loved how that guy with Florence said he always thought: No pain no gain. And Susan says, there shouldn't be pain. Great info Friskers, thank you. I can't wait to go give my body this "simple stretch"...going to do this right now...move over chair, I'm following along with this. Here it is: The body will LOVE this: www.yogaheart.com/livinglive/index.php

Sometimes I wish I was more of a dramatic person because I want so much to scream at the top of my lungs how great doing yoga has made me feel and wish everyone would try it and experience the happiness health and peace Ive gained from it. IT REALLY IS AMAZING AND INCREDIBLE!!! ;D OK NOW IM SHOUTING!! Toni I originally bought that tape for my Mom and went I went to visit we practiced together and I too resonated with it right away, immediately my body was sighing in relief. Thats what I was searching for for at least 15 years of unnecessary pain I endured because I didnt know I need an extreeemly gentle yoga for my body. For everyone else yoga may or may not be the right excersize for you but there are so many types to choose from I would really recomend looking into it. One warning .... it is detoxifying also so in the beginning you may feel like you have a mild flu or not feel to well but that goes away after several days depending on how toxic you are. One other great thing is it doesnt cost any money except for the initial cost of the video and a yoga mat. Bannany yes only deep breath fresh air! NAMASTE

Well then... I better not breathe at all! That's probably what got us sick in the first place!
What's NAMASTE mean?

sevreal interpretations; Here are several translations for Namaste: “I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Truth, of Light, and of Peace. When you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, We are One. “ “The God(dess) in me greets and honors the God(dess) in you.” "I salute the divine qualities in you." "I salute the God within You." "My soul bows to your soul.”. "The Great Perfection within me honors the Great Perfection within you". Yoga teachers use it a lot in saying hello or goodbye and beginning or ending of class

Now that's too cool... thank you friskers and namaste to you and toni too!
I'm watching the most beautiful movie... this is the second time I've seen it. It's called "The first 5 people you meet in Heaven"... ever seen it? It's on the Hallmark channel.
One of the things the 1st person Jon Voight meets (he plays Eddie) when he gets to Heaven says to him...
"Strangers are just family you haven't yet met... we are all connected"
I thought of all of you when he said that.
Other things he was told by the 5 people he meets on his journey...
Sacrificing yourself for another is the noblest thing you can do...
Hatred is a curved blade and the harm we do to ourselves becuz of it we also do to others... you need to forgive those who have hurt you. Then it will be fixed...
Life has to end... love doesn't...
You've got to see this movie if you never have. I know there's also a paperback (very short book) of the same name. Just wanted to share...
I love you guys ~~ bannanny

Good stuff, yoga. I started practicing when Lilias Folan was on PBS (way back in the 70s) and first learned how to find that "quiet place, deep within me". Lilias! - a Biography Lilias Folan, known as the "First Lady of Yoga" since her groundbreaking 1972 Yoga series Lilias! Yoga and You, has been regarded as one of America's most knowledgeable and beloved Master Yoga teachers. Through her television shows, books, audio tapes, videos, dvds, workshops and seminars, Lilias has spent nearly forty years inspiring students and teachers throughout the USA with the benefits of yoga for the body, mind and spirit. Steeped in many different yoga traditions, in recent years Lilias relies strongly on her own personal experience and intuition to influence her teaching. Lilias first became involved with yoga at the age of 30 when her doctor suggested trying the system of simple stretching and breathing techniques to help relieve a variety of ailments including back pain, sleeping problems and a general case of the "blahs." Yoga gave Lilias, then a housewife and mother, a renewed vitality and energy. With this increased zest for life, she continued her yoga practice in New York City where she studied and taught with some of the finest teachers from Europe, India and America. With skill and knowledge, Lilias began teaching classes in her Ohio community sharing what she had learned. Four years later, her television series Lilias! Yoga and You, which was produced by PBS affiliate WCET in Cincinnati Ohio, aired nationally on PBS stations, and viewers across the country watched and practiced with her. Lilias' audience grew to include everyone from housewives to athletes, executives, children and seniors as well as Olympians, artists, poets, members of Congress and even a former president of the United States. She taught internationally in Australia, Russia, Italy, Ireland, Germany, and for the British Wheel of Yoga. The PBS series led to other ventures including two best-selling books on yoga, several audio programs and numerous award-winning videos. Now, Lilias Folan is regarded as the "master of her craft," bringing yoga to the public with her easy, comfortable approach. Nearly forty years after discovering her love of yoga, Lilias continues to inspire audiences around the world with workshops and seminars spiced with her knowledge, vibrancy and enthusiasm. Lilias' position as a major influence in the field of health and fitness has gained her international renown. In fact, the Soviet Ministry of Health extended an invitation to Lilias, one out of ten honored guests asked to speak, teach and participate in the first Soviet/American Yoga Teachers Conference, held in Moscow in 1991. In her third book, Lilias! Yoga Gets Better With Age (Rodale Press), Lilias turns her attention to a demographic that has not yet been addressed--her own! At 70 plus, she is living proof that yoga is a continually changing, growing, deepening practice, that can be learned with ease at mid-life and beyond. Lilias Folan is a Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher with E500 + T500 hours. Yoga Alliance credits are available for Lilias' programs. May want to check her site: www.liliasyoga.com/-JT
