Poor little guy. My boyfriend took him to be neutered in the hopes that he would be a little calmer and stop marking furniture (although this wasn't a problem till I recently moved. He has been getting morgellons stuff on his paws. Well he has been in terrible pain. I had to take him to the emergency vet for a couple hundred bucks more after his surgery. He got an infection of some kind . he is on a mess of antibiotics and pain meds. He was neutered on thursday. I am taking him to his regular vet in about two hours. Both vets are going to look at him. I am going to ask about that blastocystitis. He is in too much pain to walk. He and I are both a mess and my partner is frustrated. I love you guys tho. I come here most days and you make me feel welcome and cared about. Thank you so much! Please send some love and prayers and healing for Barkley. He is the sweetest little tough guy papillon in the whole wide world. I am feeling weak. When I pee there are tiny coccoons or black fibers wrapped each around a single black hair each about 1 to 2 inches long.the little cocoon thing is tiny maybe an eigth of an inch or less and looks like a tiny piece of black knit fiber. sometimes i find them and plant like material in underwear. I seem to be getting more extreme symptoms.i hope my dog can be helped.

Oh sweet Inez... I'm so praying for you and Barkley both. I was a vet tech for years and it sounds as tho he's picked up an infection from the surgery. Don't let the docs get around that either. It's their problem now since they neutered the little guy ok? You hold your ground with that sweetie. I'm sure he's gonna be ok tho... just needs some attention to the site and antibiotics. Our little critters are alot tougher than we think they are sometimes!
I'm so sorry you're feeling weak and seeing all that stuff come out of you. Drink alot of water and flush your system the best you can ok? You might even wanna do a detox right now. I need to do one myself too. You can buy some good ones at any health food store... pill form or otherwise. I've always found "Happy Tummy" to be a real good cleanse. It tastes like alfalpha, but it sure does work. Just make sure you're always near a bathroom when taking it! You can order it online and I know some health food stores also carry it. It's cheap too... one of Dr. Hildy's great suggestions.
I know in my heart you're both gonna pull thru this... but I'm always praying for you too. You know you can call me if you wanna talk...
love you girl ~~ bannanny

Prayers for you Inez and te doggy too.
Yes flush with water , garlic works for me too. A teaspoon crushed followed by a big swallow of coke. I think the acid in the coke highlights the garlic.
Take on a near empty stomach but 1/2 piece of toast recommened as this is harsh.
You will sweat it out.

HI Inez,
Gosh, I don't know if you've gone to the docs for Barkley yet, but you might want to see if they'll prescribe you Panacur.
It's the doggie (fenbendazole). I know that is what keeps my sisters Jack going strong, and he only takes it 3 days in a row (2 different times per month).
Approx the first of every month, she does a 3 day run with it (according to his weight).
Then stops the Panacur.
Then again around the middle of every month (3 days in a row again).
My sisters vet was pretty liberal, as he did blood and stool tests, and said there were no parasites, YET the Panacur helps, and he went ahead with the script.
After that script she's since been ordering it online from Valley Vet, I think it is.
I wish to God we knew what to do. I'm sorry you're having such symptoms too.
This is all a mess, no help, and nothing but extreme suffering for us all in every way.

Gee much thanks to Lilsissy, Toni and Bananny. Bark hates these antibiotics because they upset his stomache. Tony he was just wormed with something called dromil so while I have the fenben I am reluctant to use it till all these antibiotics are out of his system and till he has a breather from the other one and the antibiotics. He sure doesn't want to get up and around. I wish I could say he was doing better but he did let me hand feed him some of a boiled chicken breast last night. Maybe he will get hungry again this evening.

Awww, Inez, I know you're so worried about Barkley, (Bark) as you call him. That's so cute. I'm worried too. Poor little thing. You know best because you're his mom, and you know what condition he's in and what's happening, and I sure have to agree with you that his tummy being upset already, it is best to not compound that with anything more but really soothing stuff like the boiled chicken that you gave him. I'm glad he ate. I hope he's wanting water too, cause animals dehydrate really really fast. (just a couple days is all they can go without enough water.) It hurts so bad to know these little fella's, our absolute loyal unconditional loving furry companions and friends can't even tell us what they're feeling, and what's going on. I wish there was something. You both take care. Warm hugs.

Dear Ibzahp, I'm so sorry you and bark are feeling so bad. Please ask the vet to check Bark through a culture from the wound and make sure they tell you what they find. Bannanny just reminded me a few days ago that the Pseudomonas Aeruginosa that my LadyBug (my Boarder Collie) is being treated for now, anyway Bannanny reminded me that other Morgies have been diagnosed with it. Our dear Roberta that we lost had it.
My Vet. put LadyBug on Hydroxyzine and Baytril, her infection lesion where the vet. got a very large fiber ball out is drying up but I'm worries about it because we've been down this road before. If the area of his surgery gets moist and the skin gets a very strange shine to it, get him in ASAP, thats what happened to her prior to a big full blown Morgellons infection in 2004, the treatment took months and it was so nasty, ended up having to get several skin grafts.
I don't want to scare you but I want you to know what this horror can do to our pets.
You are on top of whats going on with your little guy and I'm sure he will be just fine cause his Momma is there for him. My heart breaks for the little guy and i don't mean to make a funny here but what must he think? He went to sleep, woke up with no doodads and now feels like h$ll, he will need much hugging from you and lots of good boys from his Daddy cause he must be thinking, WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED?
As for you, yep it sounds like you need a Detox like bannanny said. Josh use to get the fiber balls like crazy in his urine. I get them for a while, then it will stop and with in a few weeks or months it's back again, can always see that black ring in my toilet when I have it and my urine smells so bad at that time. Each time the doctor finds a different bacteria in my urine, it's never the same so we don't know what to think. My kidneys are a mess also and the doctor has talked about dialysis in the past but then the meds always help and get me out of it.
I'm sending love and hugs to the both of you.
Bark feel better soon buddy oxoxoxoxo, Suebe

Aww Suebe you are so kind and Bananny and everyone here is here for us. The love and compassion on this board means more than I can express in simple words. I don't think my partner can handle this. He doesn't love me anymore or it is just too much. Bark is doing better but not yet out of the woods. The loving kindness is helping him to heal. And yes Suebe, it must be a c9onfusing situation for him and very painful. He hates that Elizabethan collar and the vet said he would do better with one of those inflatable ones though I cant afford it. I let him not wear it when he is in eyeshot and he is being good and leaving the area alone. I hate to go on about this but he was on hydrocortisone for his asthma. It was the one thing that really seemed to help(tho I understand it is somewhat toxic) . His asthma is acting up and he can't have his meds for another 10 days. I am so ashamed as I am a mess right now. Really wanted that part time job in my field but I just don't think I am well enough. They are making me go through a physical and two more weeks of training. Trying to take it a bit at a time. Scheduled for driving test on the 15th . I sure hope I pass. I am praying for guidance and understanding.Your kind words help. Thank You, Peace, Love and Blessings, ibzahp
