I believe Slime Molds are also known to etch porcelain and metal.
Found this in my Slime Mold Folder and decided to share it.

Slime Molds
Post by Sidney on 11/17/06 at 1:36
I haven't been here to read or post in several days, and need to catch up, but I finally have decided to get brave and say Tonie and I have been studying Slime Molds like crazy people and I haven't found piece of this disgusting puzzle that hasn't fit, so here I go with it.
I know the Slime Molds have been discussed in the past. We got into them years ago at the Board that no longer has a message board.
Not even sure what prompted me, but that doesn't really matter.
One tiny nudge toward this was realizing that if I taped my horrible lesion under my lower lip and the tape extended out on my cheek when I removed the adhesive tape my face was terribly affected. What surfaced was a yellow slime-like substance.
Probably the most compelling motivation was being fascinated by what the Agri-mectin did to the lesions. If the lesion hadn't been bleeding and I rubbed the paste in, the rolled up residue was gray or black or gray with black specks.
That totally freaked me and if it's a mold disease, slime mold or whatever, that would definitely explain why insects get into the skin of some of us.
Fifteen years ago when I got this crud on my face I had a really bad lesion on my right cheek that took three years to get rid of.
Once I put one of the "paddle" things on that part of my face while using the frequency generator and when I removed it every pore that had been touched was dripping yellow goo. The woman I was buying the machine from was very upset.
For years I had a red spot where the lesion had been, and many broken capillaries, but no lesions.
After taking IVOMEC injectible orally a few weeks ago I broke out in four new lesions as I recall, in addition to the horror under my lip.
The place on my cheek that had appeared perfectly ok for probably twelve years started looking strange and was sore to touch. It became very red and one night as I looked in the mirror after showering I realized there was a huge puffy area surrounding the red spot and that the outer layer of skin was almost transparant, but beneath it the tissue was very yellow. I also discovered that I could move something about the size of a marble and could move it up above the red spor or bring it down below the red spot. I slid a needle under the loose skin and yellow goo, not Pus, literally ran. It was just a thin, yellow, slimy liquid followed by some fibers and several cat hairs as well as those plastic fibner or hair like things that have a funny bulb on the end. I am so freaked by all this and so miserable.
I've noticed recently that when I get out of the shower I often find small black specks on my face.
I did some Googling and learned Ivermectin degrades CHITIN and CELLULOSE.
Then I started thinking about folks using sulfur, salt, and vinegar and feeling each was helpful (not a mix, but used as in salt soaks, vinegar rinse following a shampoo, etc. So, I Googled some more and learned that Salt, Vinegar and Sulfur all degrade Chitin and Cellulose which led me into parts of days and half the nights of trying to learn everything I could learn, and remembering bits and pieces of what we'd studied years ago.
One thing I've always considered important about the slime molds, Protists, is that Euglena lives as a plant by day and as an animal by night and I always wondered if Euglena involvement could be the reason people itch so at night. I dunno, just tossing out some ideas if anyone's interested.
Most of the recent studying has been concerning Chytridiomycosis, which has wiped out entire species of frogs world-wide, causes deformities like an extra leg or missing legs, etc..
I did learn that Northern California is chock-full of this particular slime mold (among other things.)
I read the Angry thread and wanted to just wail. Good to vent. SWhat in the name of God do we have and will we ever be well? Right now I think I'm just plain scared.
Excuse me for rambling. Been a tough week.

Sidney - please don't stop, it sounds like you are on to something here that I would love to learn or know more about. If you have more on this topic to share PLEASE do so. Normally I would take excerpts and do detailed research, but I am so close to my death bed right now, or I should say still going through Hell, but think I'm in the Hell of Hell right now.
This week I've gone through something I had prayed would never happen - I now have a hole leading from my sinuses into my upper gums. It would be impossible for me to explain to another human being what the pain and fear have been like for me this past 10 days. I'm now on antibiotics which I try to avoid, along with a host of other medications, but am scared. I have my Faith in God, that is what has kept me alive so far along with the need to be here for my Son and to show him courage so that he won't give up on life.
Still I pray to God that SOMEONE PLEASE FIND AN ANSWER TO THIS NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So help me, My Lord Jesus Christ I CANNOT think of any other disease or illness on this earth which causes the suffering that this one does.
God Bless, Thanks for your research and keep it coming !!
PS - thanks for letting me shed a few tears

Belikewater....please email and I will share everything with you. You have my email address?
I am so inwardly hysterical due to this da** disease and the pain and suffering of all who have it I'm ready to look for a tall building.
I need help. Tiny URLS must be made and that's a slow process.
As I posted, most of my efforts have been directed toward Chytridiomycosis, but there are many Slime Molds and tons of information available.
I will begin with this which I may have posted on another thread when I first began this research.
Snokeflake, you hang in there.

Exogenous and Endogenous Cutaneous Anomalies and Curiosities.
Critical Review
American Journal of Dermatopathology. 27(3):259-267, June 2005.
Del Rosario, Raul N MD; Barr, Ronald J MD; Graham, Bradley S MD; Kaneshiro, Suzanne MD
Abstract:
Exogenous and endogenous substances can produce some interesting cutaneous abnormalities. Exogenous lesions are externally introduced materials or foreign bodies. Endogenous lesions are substances that result from tissue host response to an injury or physical insult. There may be an overlap of these endogenous and exogenous lesions such that externally introduced materials can lead to peculiar tissue reactions. Pathologists should be aware of these anomalies as many of them can simulate neoplasms (ie, Monsel's reaction, polyvinylpyrrolidone disease, silica reaction) and inflammatory (ie, paraffinoma) and infectious processes (ie, Drysol(R) reaction and Lycopodium granuloma). The most interesting and important entities within each of these categories are presented with essential clinical and pathologic descriptions.

Slime molds etch glass.
Over the years I've heard from people who swore "something" was eroding anything from their kitchen sinks to their kitchen appliances. I thought...yeah, right.
Today I will eat my words.
If Slime Molds can etch glass they can probably etch porcelain as well.
Doug and Bonnie in northern California described a yellow substance they could NOT get rid of in their kitchen and laundry room. Doug was even taking the dryer apart and cleaning it regularly as they believed they were getting yellow crud on their laundry.
Bonnie's daughter was taken from her because of this disease. The daughter was twelve and Bonnie was accused of cutting the child's hair at night as her daughter slept.

How slime molds signal and aggregate.
www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/protista/slimemolds.html
A second group, the cellular slime molds, spend most of their lives as separate single-celled amoeboid protists, but upon the release of a chemical signal, the individual cells aggregate into a great swarm. Cellular slime molds are thus of great interest to cell and developmental biologists, because they provide a comparatively simple and easily manipulated system for understanding how cells interact to generate a multicellular organism. There are two groups of cellular slime molds, the Dictyostelida and the Acrasida, which may not be closely related to each other.

Here's a pic of Euglena, which they're very interesting.
They are like a plant by day, and actually like an animal by night, in that these actually go on the hunt for food, which usually isn't that way plant life does.

I do not care really what it is, I do not want to know anything other than how to get it off me, out of me, and keep it that way.
My daughter said the smartest thing the other day.
"Mom! why are the not making a pill like that for all the people with morgellons? (she knows what it is.. sad she would have it too) Who cares about yellow ugly toenails!
I just do not get it either! Doctors out there find meds for yellow toenails "fungus" or what ever. You all have seen the little bug gett'n his on the TV. Companys spend enough to support a small country to develop, and advertise to get rid of something so petty. When we all need something to save lives! I guess it will take a scientist with it or a loved one to push for a cure or answer.. Can't wait to have a pill on TV rolling over this crap "slime mold" or whatever!!!!!!!
