Trish Springstead called me and suggested I rent a drywall heater and run it for 3 weekends in a row at 160-180 degrees. She said it will get this out of my environment... she told me it's helped others who were in my same situation. So I wanna try it, but I have no clue as to how much it'll cost and was wondering if anyone here might have an idea. That way I'll know if I'm gettin ripped off or not. Wish my dad was still alive... he was a contractor. I guess I could call one of the guys he worked with in Vegas. I kinda don't wanna do that tho... I'm sure you understand my wanting to avoid all the questions. So anyway, does anybody know where I should go to see about it and what one might run? Thanks guys... love ya's ~~ bannanny

Bananny, just Google Drywall Heater and see what you can learn. My understanding is you live in California High Desert country, therefore you must not get a lot of rain.
That doesn't mean you can't have a mold problem as you could have had leaks in the past. A Drywall Heater may be the answer as mold could be growing in insulation between your studs or anywhere else for that matter.
Jose and Kathy live in Florida as most of you know and went to great lengths to get Kathy well. The HBO chamber they bought was helpful as was the whole house Ozone machine and the smaller one they use for ozonating their water, cleaning fresh fruit and veggies, olive oil, etc.
If you can contact people your dad once worked with I'm sure they would be happy to share information with you.

Sparky,,, there are electric dry-wall heaters you can rent but they are kind of high.. A cheaper rout would be to rent a "kerosene space heater" they heat a place up really well and quick too, they don't really smoke much, but you would have to open a window before you leave the house because they eat up the air in a place really quick and have to have a source of air to keep burning.. She may have a point there.. If a cloths dryer run on high for a period of time will effect morgellons,, it would stand to reason that heating up the whole place would at least do the same thing as a dryer would on cloths.... If you do it, please let us know how it worked!!

bannanny, I don't know the cost involved, but I had read that some exterminators use some kind of heater to rid homes of pests (like mites) so I think this is a great idea! Just start calling some of your local equipment rental shops and compare prices. If they don't have one, I bet they can order it for you. Check this out: www.thermapureheat.com/Don't forget to factor in the cost of electric usage.

I sure don't know what a dry wall heater is, but from what I've read about "pests" in the walls...(if they're in there) or carpeting, they can go dormant for a year! And heat or cold doesn't affect them.
(just sharing what I've read and found to work well)
Something else about "mold". If ANYONE has any mold anywhere something that works like nothing in life, is - diatomaceous earth applied onto of it.
I've had problems over this last couple of years here and there with a tiny leak in the bathrooms. I guess it was a part in the pipe that was faulty, and well...to make a long story short, when I lifted up the padding of the carpeting, there was some mold!
I piled on diatomaceous earth and laid paper towels on top of that as to not disturb the diatomaceous earth.
After 3-5 days of the diatomaceous earth being on top of that mold, I vacuumed it up. Not one HINT of mold left. The D.E. absorbed and killed it!
I think that's the greatest stuff on Earth for mold.
I even think it can be "sprayed into "walls" if one wanted to do that.
You'd need a sprayer (bottle) with a large spray hole in it, then you could mix some water into the DE, shake that up, and spray away. As it dries it will absorb ANYTHING it's in contact with.
The DE is great stuff. Just don't breathe it in.
If you can spray that into (the walls) goodness....no critters of any kind can survive that stuff. It causes them death, because it dissolves and scratches their shells (outer covering)...and they die. And it's safer than bug sprays too, plus, it doesn't dissipate like a spray would.

I don't know of a dry wall heater but I can tell you that I saw a demonstration of this paint/product you put on your walls that absorbs the VOCs from your home. They had a little plastic box and put something very strong smelling in both boxes. The box that was coated with the paint/product had no smell at all and the smell in the other box just about knocked me out. If I could afford to I would buy this product and have it applied to my walls. I was very very impressed. Also, the place of business that this product comes from has it applied to their walls. I felt great inside the place of business too. Has anyone tried this on their walls? www.everwallgreen.com/

You can use a salt lamp to dry your house out if you can afford it (or) buy persian salt rocks loose & put into a bowl. Dry your house out completely. Also you can get those moisture & mold buckets from Home depot to sit any where. I put salt rocks in a dish in my bathroom. I found Gain detergent works good on this stuff.. Also the frebreeze for laundry , but it's not cheap.

Bannanny, Why don't you contact Trish at her E-mail. I believe it is "aripekangel at yahoocom. ' and ask her for spcific information about that heater. Trying to guess what might approximate the treatment probably is not going to help much. Maybe she has the name of the product or a company that uses it in Florida. Then you can ask a remediation company near you whether they have the equipment to do the job.

Thanks guys... I did google drywall heaters Sid, but I didn't find the info I'm lookin for. BTW, I don't know if it matters any, but Trish said to find a CEDAR drywall heater. I asked her what I'm asking you guys but she didn't have the info... all she knows is it's helped others to clear morgs up in their environments. One reason I haven't gotten on the phone to rental co's and contractors is cuz right now I'm oozing gel. So all I have to do is hold the phone for 15 seconds before my hand and it are stuck together. My head gets very electrical too with the phone held against it. It's not that I'm lazy, I just don't wanna go thru it if I can help it ya know? I know there's mold here... stachybotrys, fusarium, asperguillis and chaetomium were some of the more toxic molds found. Spent 2,000 bucks on remediation 4 years ago. But last year when my tub and shower had to be replaced, they found mold growing everywhere underneath it. So much for the remediation I guess. Course morgs was here already when the remediation took place. I suppose that has alot to do with it. Could even be it started replicating the molds that were (still are) here, who knows. Probably uses it for whatever its purpose is too, just like it does us and everything else. I'm waiting to hear from a handyman now... actually I probably have a reply in my email already. I haven't checked it tonight.... think I will right now. Wow, he answered me... what a nice guy! He subscribed to my channel at You Tube is how I met him. He doesn't have morgs but is a very compassionate person. Anyway, I read in his profile that he does all kinds of handyman jobs and such so I sent him a message to see if he might know. Here's what he said...(ooops, just so ya know, we also talked about MMS, MSM, and of course I apologized at the end of writing my message to him cuz it had become one of my books by then as usual)... ha ha, nice book, yeah me and a couple friends wright books to, supposed too be a quick hey how are ya. then we look up, oops another book? well I have done some drywall, never used more than a space heater though, I imagine they are probably referring to the big propane/electric? very high b.t.u.. depending , rental or someone doing this will make a big diff, in price. when i need a tool and don't want to buy it i usually rent, almost any rental, industrial/contractor, tool, such as Howey,U-haul,True value, construction tool rental? not sure your location? contractor rental.? a lot of places will tell you all about the rental, how it works, safety, etc. ask questions, i do alot. one thing i do know about is when they do something like you are talking to sterilize a place, because of the high heat you have to be careful, and if i remember right they go in to check ever so often, for fire hazard etc. yeah ha ha probably some good vids on youtube as far as what heater/heaters would be... i don't know what temps you need but it looks like the company is using the same type of heaters i was talking about, the ducting/tubes, fans. should be rentable at the types of places i was telling you about, 1 company was charging $1.00 a square foot might have been the one in this vid. any ways this will give you an idea of the type of equipment. almost any tool rental should have most this stuff, way cheaper than what the companies would charge you. and check out M.M.S..i started taking it last year maybe the year before? anyways there are some vids on youtube, sheesh everything's on youtube!! Jim has some cd's that explain in detail how he discovered it and what it does, how it works, etc.it helped me and i was "accidentally" taking 1/3 doses, i'm gonna have to check out M.S.M. never heard of it yet? anyways if you need too unload any poop/whatever go ahead, won't bother me none, o.k. take care. bye, your friend D.Here's the video he was talkin about (I haven't watched it yet but wanted to share it with you guys too)... www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OK8l7_UlloWhat a kind person eh? They're still some out there! Thanks rhorn my buddy... I'll check the kerosene one out too. I wonder if it makes a difference what kind of heat you use? Trish did say specifically to use a drywall heater, so I dunno. You know I'm gonna tell you if it works or not silly... just another part of my never ending stories I have for my beautiful friends! I'll check your link in a bit too ((BB))... and again, I thank all you guys for your help and suggestions. I've used the DE before toni... course it wouldn't hurt to try it again. There's soooo many things I've tried, but ya never know. It might work now whereas it didn't before. I remember posting about that paint a year or so ago sammy. It does seem to be a good product huh? I wish I could afford to do it all, but I can't. Like I said jh, Trish didn't know anything other than it's worked for others environments that were as bad as mine. I've asked her if she can give me one of their numbers so I can find out just how bad it was and see if my situation is the same as theirs was. She hasn't gotten back to me about that tho. I've just gotta find out everything I possibly can before going deeper into debt. I can't do the financial end of it all anymore. Never could really, not on SSI... that's why I wanna know everything I can before spending the bucks yet again. I know you guys understand all that too. I'll let ya know what I find as soon as I find it! love ya's ~~ bannannas

High out-put hi-temp construction heaters of every kind here... www.heatershop.com/forced_air_heaters.htmlOh,, I should have said... you wont find construction space heaters listed under "drywall or sheet-rock heaters" because you can't put direct high-level heat against curing sheet-rock,, it just shrinks and cracks the mud,, so they don't list heaters made to do that... Your looking for "portable space heaters" electric, propane, kerosene, and so on...

Bannanny, I can certainly relate as to wanting to check out everything before spending money we haven't got anyway. Hope Trish gets back to you on this one. I have a relative in the insurance adjuster line down Tampa way. will be there this weekend and will make a point of asking him about this cedar drywall heater and how it is used, etc. He has done a lot of adjustments for water damage what with the hurricanes they had been having over the last several years, so if this thing exists I am sure I can get the particulars from him.

Yes, that sounds like a good idea, Jill. And maybe find some oil of cedar to put out in the house somehow? Or, some incenses might help? I sometimes burn cedar wood in my fireplace to give the house a nice smell...

Maybe that's what I should do... burn some cedar wood WITHOUT having a fireplace ha! Then I won't have to worry about this thing working or not. Get all new everything with the insurance money. Nah, just kidding... kinda.
Anyway, thanks for your help guys. No wonder I couldn't find anything by googling drywall heaters rhorn! I did find out you can rent the electric, propane, etc. ones at 1.00 a sq. foot... which is more than I have to spend right now. Plus I'd be spending more $$$ to stay in a motel or whatever for 3 weekends in a row. I'm still waiting for Trish to give me someone's number who's tried it but she hasn't replied yet. I'm kinda surprised she doesn't know more than she does about it after suggesting it.
Where do I get Thieves oil Jill? I have a diffuser that I used to put menthol crystals in. If you say it'll kill it, I'll try that first since I'm sure it's alot cheaper!

Well, that's about how my mind works these days tonio... or rather how it doesn't quite work right anymore! That guy from You Tube has helped me out so much too. He found one brand new (the btu kind) for 600.00 I could buy, but it's still more than I have to spend. So I'm gonna go ahead and try the Thieves Oil Jill suggested for now since it's helping her so much... and I can more than likely afford it.
Thanks guys...

bannany I did ask my nephew in law about that piece of equipment and he has never heard of it. He also said he has a manufactured home up at his hunting camp here in florida that he had to have mold abatement done on. All of the widow and door opening had to be removed , re-caulked and replaced. Says that manufactued homes are notorious for being leaky. I tried but this was not the answer I was hoping for. He said that heating that place up like that would burn the place down. Might solve the mold problem but I don't think this is what you want to do.

Hi Folks,
I’ve been in the Morgellons community since March of 2004, when my wife and I found that our newly discovered Lyme disease had a passenger with a very mean disposition.
Both being herbalist, we started looking for the best spirochete killers, the best antifungals, the best immune modifiers, etc. After about 1 1/2 years we were clear of all of our Morgellon-like symptoms, except for some residual fatigue. That has also improved in the last several years.
I just wanted to drop in, say hello, and let you know that we live a very normal life now. I’m attending an excellent acupuncture school and also travel some with no problems.
You’ve probably seen a list of herbs and supplements that we used for healing. They still work– my mother-in-law beat Morgellons (open lesions) in less than six months, although we caught it early.
Here is the short list from ‘04: Cat’s Claw, Pau d’Arco, Olive Leaf Extract, Kyolic formula 103, two Seven Forest formulas- Isatis and Forsythia, Triphala, Teasel, and Sarsaparilla.
In adddition we found Folic Acid, NAC (Cysteine), Silver, Oregano, Grape Seed Extract, and Artemisinin, very helpful.
For now we may occasionally take Olive leaf extract, Grape seed extract, and digestive enzymes.
We really researched these herbs and supplements and later on we found that some in particular had a synergism that really cleaned house:
Cat’s Claw, Grape Seed Extract, and Kyolic 103 seemed to be an excellent combination.
You have a great board here with a lot of good helpful knowledge and support. You can beat Morgellons and Lyme. Please don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Blue Skies………..John
First, we looked at our immediate environment. The Pyrethrins, malathion, organic bug sprays, etc., did nothing but aggravate the biting and itching problem. The edible form of DE certainly got rid of any bugs in our home, but again no hope for symptoms.
Our first big breakthrough was discovering that Tiger Balm and our Peppermint shampoo had a common key ingredient that is active against Morgellon symptoms, menthol. We purchased a pound of menthol crystals early in '04 and experimented with an electric diffuser and just using small sachets of crystals placed aound the house, including our bed, sofa, chairs, and dog area.
Instant relief. I still carry these sachets with me on trips, especially to Florida and Texas. Our home has remained itch free since then.
For our linens and clothes, we found that 20 Muleteem borax (2 hour soak) and then wash along with a good enzyme detergent worked well. What we couldn't wash we just kept in a big freezer for a few days-- this worked almost as good as a wash.
Here is our most recent source for naturally derived menthol crystals:
Interesting-- I can't post this url until I've posted 15 times-- (< $20/lb)
The Kleen-m-away enzyme product was also a lifesaver. (Now called SafeSolutions Enzyme Cleaner with peppermint.) I remember soaking a kleenex with it just to drive the car to a local store.
It seems that once you get your immune system calmed down and healthy not much will bother you in the way of fabric seats or an office full of electronic equipment. Mold is another problem and best avoided.
We discovered the use of menthol and enzyme cleaner 5 years ago, and unlike a lot of products, they've never let us down.
Blue Skies.........John Hi Bannany I think this is something you might want to try before you by the heater it worked for them and I found the site to by the menthol crystals wich I am gonna buy and sprinkle in my house and in my truck I know this stuff has merit Ive been putting menthol in my ears for 3 and a half years ( VICKS) it keeps me going ,also I aplogize for getting you going on the pastrami . I Had Taboule in pita bread with sour cream and cilantro for dinner Getting hooked on this vegy stuff Best regards and happy fri the 13th Got this from Jans site.

You're gonna make me craaazy! Before you go talkin about something you ate that sounds sooooo good and that I don't have here, think about what bein left in that water's gonna feel like!!!
I love you tho... and thanks for the tips. I use menthol crystals and no... not gonna do the heater cuz I found out it WILL burn the place down. Your nephew was right jh!
