Well Folks, here we are November 24th, and as of 5:14PM on the East Coast, there is no word from the CDC! I checked their website at 4:30PM today, and there was nothing to report on Morgellons/Kaiser-Permanente/CDC study etc. So, as always, we're here, and they're not! Nothing changes, does it? I guess it's another [glow=red,2,300] BOHICA[/glow] ( Bend Over Here It Comes Again) non-response from the good ole CDC who has all of our health issues to ponder...and as always, we walk away saddened by the lack of caring on yet another Thanksgiving Day... I can only imagine what their excuse will be this time..... We PAY your salaries so you can have a Happy Thanksgiving with your families, so why can't you extend yourselves alittle by giving us something to be thankful for? Excuse me, I guess I was asking for too much compassion from them. And there we will be singing in December: [glow=red,2,300]"On the Twelfth Day of Christmas the CDC Gave to Me..."[/glow] Disappointed, Disgusted, Disillusioned, and Desperate!!! ctbarb

Was there supposed to be another "announcement" due the 24th? I can't remember seeing that anywhere.

I am not saying you're not correct at all ctbarb, hope you didn't take it that I was...I was actually excited about that! The way I saw it is they left it open ended again. I would love to know something new is coming out.

Only thing leaky is our tear ducts and THEIR brains.
Yes, Barbara, there really is a CDC and they really did announce November 24 as their target date for what's up..
Just another SNAFU.

Hi Girls,
Yeah...EARLY this morning I was all over the internet, CDC, MMWR, NIH, BSC, AFIP, you name it...
And saw nothing either.
I'm almost having the cringing thought that "their November" statement on their registry site...was it.
That when they get "it all" together....(the BSC) that's when CDC will post it on their site (as they're now saying).
OH UGH.
I think this might be their "postponing statement" which is on the CDC site for Morgellons:
We are currently analyzing the data collected in the study. When data analysis is complete and results of the study are available, the findings will most likely be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal and disseminated through other channels, to CDC’s public health partners, such as State and local health departments and medical societies, and through this website.
((( modifying here)))
I tried posting CDC's updated link but it won't copy.
Just google:
CDC and Morgellons
Then on the left side of their page, you'll see UPDATE. That is where this paragraph is about what they're doing or rather...waiting for.

The way I understood it, Barb... that above WAS their announcement as promised. I hope I'm wrong.
I'm going to get 'nasty' here... A Fake CDC Announcement -
"Happy Thanksgiving Morgellons sufferers, we know there's something strange wrong with you, so strange WE can't even figure it out... but, don't worry... we won't broadcast it throughout the Holiday season, it might affect the GNP and Christmas sales... maybe next year? We don't care if you're suffering and losing everything, we don't have it, so - nah nah nah nah!...enjoy your delusional Holidays, stay home and don't visit anyone, just in case!"
Sorry about that folks, that was bad, just venting some anger...

OK Ladies and Gentlemen,
So I wasn't totally off the mark? Whew! That's at least good to know...thought I was really losing it - ya know DOP-like?
If that was their statement Toni, then the wimps should eat Salmonella stuffing with their (GMO corn fed) turkey!!! GMO cornbread, and LOTS of it on the side, and let's see, potatoes (GMO of course), and the sludge-grown veggies of your choice! Now, for dessert, Banana Creme Pie (ya know, the bananas with the fungus gnats inside, and the creme made from the hormone riddled bovines) on the top! That sounds like the perfect menu for those of you who couldn't even get your sh*t together and send out your findings in a timely manner!
Bon appetit!

Love it, Kammy. Love that DARK HUMOR, and you actually did make me smile despite having 24 for Thanksgiving when all I really want to do is go to bed and cover up my head and wallow. HA HA HA. Are we having fun yet? Are we almost there? Damn the Torpedos and full speed ahead, Off with their heads and the sky has already fallen. Last time I saw Chicken Little she was plucked clean and roasting in an oven. But, think of it this way. She saved the life of a Turkey. The CDC knows LOTS about Turkeys!

Oh Sid... WTG! Did I forget anything on the menu? I just know you can come up with something much more appetizing for them! Sounds like you will have lots of folks at your home for the holiday...God Bless You and Yours! The way this is turning out folks, is just another coverup for the last coverup...I just happen to KNOW that there WAS a meeting/conference in Washington DC last week! I was informed during a conversation...when someone I wished to see couldn't make it because he was heading up a panel at this meeting!!! Oh ye of little faith...

Kmarie said:
Think about this for a minute:
1. The information was given for analyzing on November 4th.
2. Veteran's Day was November 11 ( a non-working day)
So that would leave ONLY 12 working days for them to do the following:
We are currently analyzing the data collected in the study. When data analysis is complete and results of the study are available, .......
........the findings will most likely be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal and disseminated through other channels, to CDC’s public health partners, such as State and local health departments and medical societies, and through this website.
-----------------------------------------------
Hi Kmarie,
That would seem correct (about the dates-not being enough time) but...that could have been only "for the public's sake.
Because had CDC and BSC already established (that Nov 4th) would be the day they released that piece of particular info...(then it would be also part of the plan).
These entities (don't tell us everything that's going on). What may have been already in the "works" for sometime, well they know, but we think it's "brand new stuff", when in fact, it's not.
Just as they may already "have" all the info, but are waiting for their "date" to release it, for what "they" feel is appropriate timing.
(I know "somewhere" in reading I did read Nov 24th was when they planned to release info of findings regarding the study).
I don't consider blogs or things of that nature (reputable writings) as they're only someone's opinion, so I can assure you it wasn't from a blog.
I wish I could remember where I too read Nov 24th was the morgs study "release info date"....but I don't.
I (imho) which doesn't mean much because as opinions go, we all have one...but CDC releasing that nonsense info Nov 4th (about the study) being put together by BSC is "another stall"- for whatever reason...maybe timing of the holidays? I don't know - but it's looks like how they said back in 06, that they couldn't find a location to "set up shop" to study in Calif. too. That was a blatent stall. Because in the entire state of CA, to the public, that might appear semi legit...but they were putting ducks in a row back then, I do believe.
They needed to wait till (that particular Kaiser Northern Ca) opened, which they did! Feb 2007. CDC stalled "till then". Coincidence? I don't personally believe so.
They'll release the info (imho) when "they" see fit I suppose usually is how that goes.
Imho, in the meantime, we don't matter, it's the strategy that's priority.
Like anything, nothing gets in the way of "governmental strategy".

Dear Ladies,
First of all, I don't listen to rumors, don't believe in them. Since I wrote November 24th on my calendar...there had to have been something concrete to make me do so. I work with facts mostly, not fiction...if I want fiction, I buy it in book form!
I know there are so many different theories hanging out there, but we can expect another one...from the CDC and its environs. I hardly think that we will ever truly know from them at least, what the truth is.
The truth will come from those of us who are living the nightmarish hell of this disease...we will find it...of that I am sure.
Love,
Barb

Dear KMarie,
Sorry, all I have is the note on my calendar to inform me that the 24th of November was the day of reckoning.
At this point in time, I don't have the time, energy or care about what they will say. I was just responding to a reminder...if this upsets anyone, I'm truly sorry.
I will remove the thread. Happy Thanksgiving!
Love,
ctbarb

Kmarie, I know and totally understand what you're saying and wondering. I don't like it either , ;D REALLY ...when someone posts something without at least something to back it up. And here I am, making a statement (that I read it somewhere) without the ability to "back it up". That I really am sorry for, and I wish I'd of never said anything, because I believe we need to "show" if we're going to "tell". This has shown me something...( that next time) I sure will "copy" it because it's not fair ((( and I SO mean it )) it's not right, not fair, to make statements without 'solid evidence'...and I did it. I said I'd read it somewhere, and I shouldn't have said, (because I don't have the facts to provide). (I do know I read it) but please know, if I could show where from, I really would. Tomorrow well..not tomorrow, but the day after Thanksgiving, I'll see if I can dig some too to find it, because it is buggin me that I don't know "where' I saw it...so you know how that goes. I won't rest till I do find it.

OKAY! OKAY! OKAY! I'm so very sorry that I even put this thread out here. It very well could have been on another site, and not here. With all the hundreds of places that I research in the course of a month, it could have been anywhere. Believe me, I didn't intentionally try to mislead anyone...that's not my style, so I am very sorry that it has caused such a hub-bub. I deal with facts, so at the time that I read it, I believed it to be fact, from a credible source. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Barb

The date may have come from this email that I received from one of the participants in the CDC/K-P study. It was sent to me on Oct. 24th. The writer gave me permission to make this public:
"Hi Bessie. The CDC, Doc Michele Pearson, has handed the research results from 'The Morgies' in California to an independent panel of Drs that will review everything over the next month. Then they intend to have a press release/conference to disclose the non-bias results. After that they intend to advise all Medical Facilities and Health Care Staff. This will be in the media and also on the CDC website. It is scheduled for November, but the exact date is not yet known. I spoke to Doc Pearson for info and she was very hush hush. She did the usual, "You are not alone, there are many many people in your shoes." This could finally be what we have all been waiting for. I am keeping my fingers crossed as I have only become more ill over these last few months and still my Kaiser Dr.s insist I am mental and my liver is my only physical illness. I asked my 1st mental Dr that did my evaluation last year, and had said I was clearly NOT mental, how many times she has had Kaiser over ride her and ask for a second opinion from an MD/PHD, due to the fact she only holds a PHD. And she said NEVER. In 23 years, NEVER. Guess I am the first for a lot of things when it comes to Kaiser. So I guess I will torture another Doc with my Questions about the CDC/Kaiser partnership and why no one acknowledges it or the undetermined infection they felt I should be the top lab rat for and how he or she as a mental doc intends to cure me based on that info. It works really well when I bring in the articles like te one I sent you and photos. They flip really quick and instantly feed info about other people tired of the 10 minute rush to diagnose at Kaiser. Well, it is all very exciting and positive. *Hope that you are well and fighting the good fight. Take Care-

That phone conversation probably took place a couple of weeks before the Nov. 4 announcement. It may well be that they thought that a statement would be ready "some time in Nov" but modified their thinking, hence the Nov. 4th stall...uh, announcement, I mean.
