Lil Sissy. My intent is not to hijack this thread. I know Karen is sick and so I wanted to get back with you.
As far as the abnormal deposition of calcium occuring. I was thinking more along these lines. Hyperparathyroidism, response to not enough calcium in the serum blood, with many contributory causes and some familar results you have written about Karens experience. Leading to the condition of chronic pancreatitis, of which can create a blockage of the pancreatic duct I explained earlier to Barb. Thus the cycle perpetuates itself. The result on the pancreas is infection and deposition of calcium. And can lead to diabetes. I think you mentioned they were having a hard time controlling her blood sugar levels? I was wondering if her docs have checked this?
My best to you both, and thank you Barb, for letting us chat real quick here on your thread.

Never a problem Frito! Something just occurred to me...3 months after I was bitten by the arthropod that started this nightmare, I was diagnosed with Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, IBS, CFS! Now, diabetes is in the family, however, I have never had any sign of it, until then. Right out of the blue! I'm wondering whether this was the beginning of the end for me? Something else rather peculiar happened as well, and I haven't seen one single person, on ANY thread, any where, mention this. I totally lost my "fight or flight" response! Zero, nothing! Totally gone! I could be running headon into a freight train and my mind would only respond as to how I might avoid it, but NO "flight response or adrenaline response" kicked in at all. Now I thought that this was an automatic body response...but nothing happens, ever! Previously, it had worked perfectly, until after the bite there was nothing. Like it had been eliminated from my body. It is still not there! When someone would sneak up behind me and touch me or say something, I would react appropriately...and scream, jump, something! Now, nothing. King Kong could run up to me with a bunch of saber-toothed tigers, and I'd just stand there or figure a way to get away, but no flash response whatsoever. What happened? Does anyone else have this? Or have you noticed? Thanks for your responses if there are any, or I'm just a freak... Barb

Barb, I posted this link in the Morgellons Mold thread. tinyurl.com/ygv87r8Discussion (Note the reference to insect bites as a common route of transmission.) Interesting about the absence of adrenalin kicking in, no "fight or flight" response to any emerging threat. Maybe you've just become "numb." (or a superwoman, ten feet tall and bulletproof?) ;D I have no idea why, but it's certainly interesting. I used to say my spouse was "ten feet tall and bulletproof." He appeared not to have a nerve in his body unless the Yankees were losing. My dad referred to him as "Mr. Mucho Macho," or "Mr. Indestructable." I miss those days.

Frito, I think you saw a photo of a woman with a wasp gall in her hand that I posted and that's confusing you? I went out to look at what might be similar to Barb's specimens and posted a few photos for her to look at to find a similarity for us to research. Barb mailed me some of her specimens, come to think of it - I need to do something with those in my freezer... I can't leave them in there for the next person moving in to find... I dissected, inspected and photographed my findings on a thread at one time for Barb. Let me go get the jar out of the freezer and de-thaw them and look again?... Barb, didn't you say that you thought that the insect that bit you is what is known as a 'kissing bug'?

Instead of smelling perhaps the organism is picking up on a chemical change that might occur in the blood when we are thinking about or preparing food.

I also have pain in my feet and lower legs My toes frequently look reddish black. I have numbness in my feet, also hyper-thickened callouses, especially on my big toes. Since having the crud I have developed several trigger toes htat have remained permanently bent.
The area around my ankles and lower legs has developed deep brownish pigmented patches as well as areas of depigmentation where the skin looks unnaturally white. These depigmented areas are usually in the shape of a fat worm or fluke like shape that is curved into a "C" shape.
When I take a long hot bath the callouses on the bottom of my feet swell up and feel very ridged and rough. They never used to feel that way.
When walking I have a very strange sensation from the bottom of my feet in certain areas. I feel like I am walking on a thick pad of something under my skin.
I would like to take a short poll on others who are suffering with this sleeping giant thing in their chests:
Ever taken anti biotics for Morgellons? If so which antibiotics and for how long?
Ever taken antifungals for Morgellons? If so which ones and for how long?
What anti-parasite drugs or remedies have you tried if any?
Have you taken Ivectermin to treat Morgellons?
Have you treated with any of the following? Grapefruit seed extract, CoQ10 in large doses (3,000-5,000mg at one time), colloidial silver, lipoic acid, herbal parasite remedies, probiotics, digestive enzymes.
Have you used a Rife machine or Zapper to treat yourself?
Have you previously been diagnosed with a congestive heart failure?

Dear Glenn,
Sorry to hear that you are having these problems too. Yes, I do have severe pain in my feet, but I have other issues involved there too. However, I know what you refer to when you say 'you feel as though you are walking on a thick pad' of something....it's as though the 'pad' that you refer to is filled with gel or some type of liquid? Do you have secretions in these areas that you can see? Have you put a bandage on these areas to see if something is coming out?
I have only taken MSM and Vit. C, D, and Folic Acid, and they were part of my daily regimen prior to M. I have taken no antibiotics specifically for "M" either, and NO Ivermectin or any other antifungals, since I am allergic to them!
Do you feel cramping in your feet? In your toes? Arch of your foot? Top of your foot? Ankles? Are the areas on the sides of your ankle blotchy with broken vessels? Black and blue? Does the pain feel as though it goes deep inside to the bone?
Periodically, my ankle will suddenly collapse as it did over the weekend; it feels like a twisted muscle...the pain is bad, however, I find that if I walk with my foot bent to the outside, it alleviates the pressure some - does this happen to anyone? This has been consistent for years now...every now and then, it will just "go out" and stay that way for days, even weeks sometime.
Are you coughing up gritty, thickened gel-like material? Do you have a scope to view it? If so, could you send a photo? What color is it generally?
Has your mucus been cultured? Bloodwork done? If so, what tests were done and were they normal?
Sorry to ask so many questions Glenn, but there are just too many components, but these are just some that I experience on a daily basis, as I'm sure others do as well.
Hang in there Bud, we will get better! Just hold on.
Best,
Barb

ctbarb,
This sleeping giant thing, you mentioned that you feel like something very large is moving in your chest area. ( don't experience this feeling of movement in the chest area, I feel it in my upper left arm.) I especially notice it at night in bed when a sheet or blanket is resting on the arm. It seems to feel the weight of the sheet and this causes it to move around. The thing feels huge, the movement feels like it occurs over an 8 or nine inch area of my arm, feels like the thing is twisting.
Someone else mentioned this sleeping giant being clamped onto their aorta. This is very interesting to me as the doctors have not been able to figure out why I have these severe breathing attacks where I am left gasping for air. It feels to me like blood may not be reaching my lungs when this happens. It is triggered by standing up with sudden exertion, moving too fast after standing up will usually bring it on. It resolves if I lay down flat on the ground, usually takes about a minute for the gasping to stop. If I don't lay down It can last for several minutes and I can wind up passing out. It is becoming more easily triggered which is worrysome. So I wonder if maybe I have got one of these sleeping giant things in my chest and it somehow is caused to block my blood supply to the lungs when I exert too much. Doctors gave me a chest x-ray, cat scan and an echo cardiogram. I am requesting copies of all these to take to another doctor. I was given a diagnosis of congestive heart failure. The CHF is not the cause of the breathing attacks.
They did say a lump showed up on the cat scan (didn't tell me where it was in my chest) that needed to be watched.
I say the heck with watching it just take the darn thing out.
I also had extensive b lood work done in the hospital, I will post this when I get a copy.

Yes ct the pads in my feet do feel like I am walking around on a gel pad that has been inserted under the skin. When I first started having Morg/Lyme symptoms I had a problem with my foot or ankle collapsing out of proper alignment. I had to be very careful about what kind of shoes I was wearing for a long time after that. If the shoes were too soft or lacked support the bones in my foot would shift. That is when I got my first trigger toe.
I also have a problem with muscle spasms in general. I get them all over the place.
If I am more busy than usual with physical work or housecleaning by the end of the day my muscles feel like they have turned to chewing gum and they get very stiff and crampy.

Dear Glenn,
I am experiencing the ankle out of alignment right now and have been for several days. It goes in and out at will. Yet there is only the broken blood vessels and the darkish blue/purple area underneath the skin that is visible. Try walking on the outside of your foot to see if that alleviates the pain...I know this is not comfortable or practical, but when I do this, the ankle seems to slip back into place. Put your feet up for an hour or so, let it rest, and then try getting up again. Sometimes this works for me. It's as though the muscles and tendons just turn to mush in that area, yet they can cramp like crazy! That indicates that there is still blood flowing through the area, and the tissue is still alive. That is a good thing! Are your ankles swollen? Legs? Is that one of the reasons they believe it is CHF? It will be interesting to see what your lab tests show. How is your Potassium level? Eat foods that are high in Potassium, like bananas, etc.
It will also be interesting to find out what is in your left arm area that is twisting...that is the feeling that I have under my breast. It moves at will, especially prior to dumping whatever is inside when those black balls leave my body. I believe it to be a breeding area and "home" for these creatures.
Do you have nasal discharge or cough up anything? If so, can you look at it through a scope?
Please keep us informed of what is happening, this is the first time I've heard of this from someone other than a female...very interesting indeed. And yes, you need to take those results to someone who will do something now, not wait as they like to make us do.
I hope you are feeling comfortable - you need to get rest to repair your body. I know this sounds easy, but it's not!
Best regards,
Barb

I feel something moving around my rib cage at times when I lay down... and beneath the skin on my legs and feet seems to move just as much as my hair does. But I think with them it's more of the strands becoming motile than a mass of something moving around. I also get A L O T of spasms everywhere... even in my brain I think.
I hope you feel better glenn...

I used to especially notice movement under the left side of my rib cage, especially noticable after eating and then laying down. Felt like things were whipping around and traveling up and down that side of my body. The presence of food in my stomach seemed to send them into a feeding frenzy.
Once when standing in line at the grocery store I felt a sudden tug under my scalp. It was so strong it made a section of my hair jump.
One of the strangest movements I have felt was in my left leg. It started in the calve and moved all the way up into my lower abdomen. Have you ever watched how a walrus moves on dry land? Kind of a floppy, humping movement. It felt like there were a parade of fairly large things flopping up my leg to the groin area. I have only felt that particular sensation the one time.

If anyone else out there has any of these symptoms, please do post on this thread. So far, there are 4 women, all with the same symptoms Yes barb , I too have felt a movement in the ribs it's been active since about last month . Two years ago it was so bad that I thought it would kill me . It seems to be at it's worst in early winter. Mine does not feel like one organism but small multiple ones in between the rib and the lung. I think it would be called the myofascular area above the pleural cavity. Also it feel movements in the descending Aorta. Jen I'm thinking it is not imaging because it's density matches our own. Anybody remember tis, I never could really get a line on it. lymebusters.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rash&action=display&thread=7176Jen

I have what feels like bouncing little balls inside my legs all the time... it's very electric feeling too. But I've actually seen the skin on my legs bounce up and down too when it happens... which is alot. They travel up and down inside my legs starting at my ankles all the way up to my knees and then back down again. It's a very strange sensation to say the least.

I am starting on another course of albendazole tomorrow. The albendazole always seems to knock back the symptoms. For the past few days I have been feeling movement in my upper left arm. Feels like something big is moving around in there.

Microfilariae in filarial infection can also be recovered from urine sediment ,let us know the test results ,best regards camv.

Samples are possible, Sue had the same thing, a large something constricting her around her back under the arm (left) and to her chest, described it just like you did, talk to your DRS and tell them there is a body (Mary has the Details) and they can request samples, that is what Sue wanted , some one to use her vessel to find answers, and she had the exact same thing happening tom

camv,
The new doctor I am seeing wrote a prescription without hesitation when I told her that my Lyme doctor had me on albendazole for almost two years (normally taking albendeazole for this long is unheard of). I am thrilled that I finally have a doctor who actually listens to me. She also wrote a prescription for Doxycycline. I was also on Doxy for several years and I feel like I need to go back on it.
