Hi Folks, I thought I'd start a new thread on my "Sleeping Giant" because now there are 4 of us who appear to have the exact same thing happening inside our bodies. Kam, Karen, Cyn and me, all have symptoms that sound very much the same. Chaosonline (Karen) and I spoke just prior to her going to the hospital because of the horrific pain she was experiencing in her chest/abdominal area. From our conversation, it appears that mine is exactly the same as hers; and now Cyn has definite symptoms of the same thing; and Kam is at the beginning stages I believe. Whatever this is, does not show up on X-ray, CT Scan, with or without dye, Ultra-sound, but I haven't had the MRI or PETScan yet. This entity must appear to have the same tissue/cells as our bodies. Both Ultra-sound specialists could literally feel and see the size of this organism, held it in their hands, and photographed it at the same time. NOTHING appeared unusual on the screen! They were baffled to say the least. These women had more than 40 years combined experience in this technique, so I feel that they knew what they were doing. They were as amazed as I was that nothing appeared. They felt the "ripple-like ropey" texture of this organism, the musculature and the strength and density of it. When it moves, sometimes it is in quick, whipping motions, other times, it feels as though it is turning over and coiling or wrapping itself around something. Then the pain hits with a vengeance! It feels as though you are being squeezed and stabbed/sliced at the same time. Something is extremely sharp (perhaps a biting apparatus?) and all the while, the body of this organism is moving inside just under the breast, and you can feel it under the arm, and going around to the back under the shoulderblade. Generally after a major attack by the Giant, those black balls come out in a mass in the stool (but there is NO stool)...sometimes more than 100! I have counted them at times. No one else has experienced these that I know of, unless they are there, and they have not examined the feces. But they are large enough to be very apparent in the stool. These are usually accompanied by masses of what appears to be a fungal netting, very dense, stringy, and tightly knit. It is encased in what looks like the gel we see throughout our bodies. This gel, however, slips very easily away from the black balls, and make them very visible. Very strange, indeed. Karen's seems to be more on the left side of her body, but the exact same thing. This is what led them to believe that it was a tumor of sorts. They still do not know at this time exactly what this is. Karen is being so brave and loving and is going through this to help us to find out what this is! I am so grateful to her for speaking out about this, especially while she was in such pain herself. She is a very brave woman, that's for sure! I can't thank her enough for her continued strength to find out what this is inside of us. Just two days ago, I felt the same feeling (for the first time) on the left side of my abdomen. It is not nearly as strong yet, but it is definitely the same feeling. Is it spreading? Are they separate entities? Are they growing in the main area under the right breast and spreading to other locations? These are all questions that we hope to get answers for in the immediate future. I am asking my PCP to arrange for an MRI or PETScan to see whether either of those diagnostic tools can see what this is. If anyone else out there has any of these symptoms, please do post on this thread. So far, there are 4 women, all with the same symptoms. This is a highly unusual situation and must be followed carefully. Something this large inside the human body, that cannot be seen easily on X-ray or various other means, is a cause for concern. I'm sorry if at times I make fun of this "Sleeping Giant" of mine, but in all truthfulness, it is the only way that I can cope with such a hideous being living inside of me. I need to keep my composure to be able to log whatever happens to me, so if others out there are experiencing it too, they will pay attention to their feelings as well. I find it hard to believe that someone that is monitoring our site does not know of this entity. If you care at all about the suffering of the human race, please, please share your information with us! Man's inhumanity to man, must stop! Love, ctbarb

I would think that,,,, if they just held an ultrasound reader "completely still" on an area of regular movement (ie, either side of the spine,, lower back,, pelvic area,, and so on) they would be able to see movements and an outline of what ever they are... All that pressing down and rubbing around just runs them out of the area there looking in....

Dear rhorn, Sadly, they did do that...and still nothing. The Giant was not all that active while they were doing the scan. It did quiver awhile, but still nothing showed. They did scan the areas that you mentioned, front and back. They were very thorough, I thought. Good suggestion though. Thanks for caring. Barb

Barb,
You know I am totally supportive. I didn't put two and two together when I first started feeling this "sleeping" pain (comes and goes) and then realized my pain is in the exact area that you've been describing. I'll try to put it into words how it feels the next time it happens.
Of course, I am pretty analytical and don't tend to jump to conclusions about what's happening inside my body until I've had some testing done. My last chest x-ray had changed from the year before... I was diagnosed with COPD... which I thought was outrageous, however, my doctor said... 'anyone who has ever smoked has some signs of COPD'... which I thought was a 'crock'.
In January of this year, I was very sick and not able to take good care of myself, I had so much Morg debris coming out of my ear that I know I inhaled some of them from my blankets that I sometimes put my head under the covers. Morgs went into my eyes and nose, too. I finally got to the ER in March - of course, their diagnosis was for me to see a psychiatrist, I have had a runny nose and sinus and lung congestion since January, I never had sinus problems before.

We were all so innocent and naive to ways of the medical world until we got our Morgellons 101 Degrees... I am so reluctant to put anything that they can injected into my body - in my body. LOOK OUT! Do your research before taking pills, contrast dyes, vaccines, etc... there's no telling what's in them or how they contrived them! I don't trust them as far as I can throw them, my whole belief system has been shattered. Damn! look what some fools have done to us?

Kammy, you cracked me up ;D We were all naive till we got our Morgellons 101 degrees! hahahhahaahhaa TOO FUNNY! (and how true). I've learned more in the last 4 years about bacteria, fungi, viruses, and what's going on in the REAL world on this board than any where on these subjects! (The School of Lyme Busters) and all it's associates ;D have taught me well. ;D I've even learned how to perform surgery to remove foreign objects from my skin! And many uses of milk, hahahhaaa besides drinking it ;D Okay...where's my diploma? hehehe

ctbarb, add me to the list, I have been having movement in my abdomen around the liver, in stomach area too. I think this amber goo is undulating all throughout our bodies, a huge slime mold, accumulates in certain areas and appears like inflamation. This hurts like 8 on the scale. Like a needle and thread being pulled through the flesh. Then the dotted lines appear, long plastic like fibers. This is one heck of a contamination. I hate this morgellons.

Jeez Kam, are we getting diplomas too??? I think we all have graduated from "Gee what is this?" to "OMG! What the h*ll is in my body?" to "Who is doing this to us?" There are just so many components to this disease, that we are finding, that when we have more than 3 people exhibiting the exact same signs, we need to take a closer look. And we have, and what we've been finding is NOT pretty! mfromcanada, could you please describe your symptoms? What I feel is a very firm, dense organism, but the gel we have isn't of that texture...unless it is hardening? So many questions, so few answers...but this set of symptoms seems to be the same for all of us. I'm wondering too if there are any men out there who have these symptoms, or is it just the ladies? On a pain scale of 1 to 10, what is the level of pain during these attacks? Is it the same throughout? Does it start at a much higher range and then settle down? Or does it just stop when it stops moving? Thank you for your responses, we need to keep close watch on what is happening here. Kam, do you feel any lumps or anything? Anyone else? We measured mine with a tape measure...and I'm curious as to what each of yours may be too. Love, Barb

Thanks for the info CtBarb,I had no idea that this is what sent Karen to the hospital. Hang in there Karen. Has she ever mentioned morgs to them? Or the fact that they can mimic us or parts of us, perfectly? I had to find images of the pancreas to try to imagine what is going on, but the pancreas is a long, long way from the heart??? So the tail wrapped around the aorta should be totally strange to a doc. I did notice that normally nothing is under the right breast Perfect place for Morgs to set up shop. So, my attacks are always in the a.m. when I am sleeping they wake me. Are you guys experiencing the attacks at times of physical movement? That would be most dangerous, ugh. May your Giants all go to sleep!

Hi Folks, My "SG" does whatever it wants, when it wants! Sometimes I am just sitting and it will attack, other times while lying down, or when I'm moving. There is no rhyme nor reason with its activity...except when it smells food! I can be unwrapping meat or whatever in preparation of a meal, and it will begin movement, and once the preparation is underway, the movement increases. After and while I'm eating, it is in full operational mode. Within 5 minutes or less, I am in the bathroom! Now, any gastroenterologist will tell you that this is not possible, it is just pushing out food/waste that was there from the day before. Well, here's a little test to try...eat a couple of reg Maraschino cherries...then wait for them to show up in your stool! If they pass through quickly like mine obviously do, something is terribly wrong! These guys are on a rollercoaster headed straight for the intestine in seconds! You can FEEL them, HEAR them, and then you SEE them! All in a very short period of time. This is not suppose to be able to happen. With that, I agree. But, just think about what makes the response when they (SG) smells food? What kind of sensor would it take for this to happen? The sense of smell is very acute, like a dog trained to sniff out drugs, etc. The millions of cells that it takes to comprise the smelling mechanism to recognize food of any type, inside of the body, is unheard of. Toni mentioned that she has this same reaction...now Toni, do you have a "Sleeping Giant" too? Did I forget you in the headcount? If so, I apologize. But I thought you mentioned this phenomenon too...am I right? In order for this SG to smell, it would have to have certain genetic traits...I have no idea what they are, but it would seem likely that it would have to be a living organism at least, (I know it is alive), needs sustenance to survive, and a purpose for living. All kinds of thoughts are jogging through my brain! I'm wondering if this Sleeping Giant is a reservoir where the breeding takes place for all of the symbionts...co-existing and feeding from each other? The survivors then find their way throughout our bodies and wreak havoc on their particular attack site. Since there are so many obviously, we are being attacked on various fronts...perhaps this is why there are differences in how we all react to this disease? A parasitologist that I was working with said that if just one of these organisms were to be attacked and killed, perhaps it would start the domino effect...the food supply would be stopped, and other symbionts would die from lack of food...and the house of cards would fall...But we can't get even one significant diagnosis and be treated for it, so this is not happening with us! The bottomline is, that we have not progressed in any meaningful way toward a diagnosis and cannot and will not be treated by any member of the medical community unless they can be assured that they are protected themselves! From their own medical community's actions, the government, the insurance companies, and lawsuits from the patients. We need to be strong in our belief that we WILL find the cause, and then take appropriate legal action...unless the government gives them a "Get Out of Jail Free Card" like it has done for the vaccine manufacturers. God help us, ctbarb

Pain is an 8 out of 10. I can't tell what is in my gut but it feels big about 4 inches perhaps and feels like it is rolling around like a baby. I get the pain in the bottom of my feet, my lower legs, my shoulders etc. I always notice white arc shapes deep within the skin with the pain. I truly feel like a plant being eaten away with a blight or a rotten potatoe. It hurts very badly and the symptoms are very worrisome.

Dear M, I'm so sorry that you are having these symptoms too. But you said something that really got my attention! It is something I did not mention, and I would like you to explain further...the pain in the bottom of your feet! And the legs, where on the legs? Any particular location? Any bruising? Color change in the skin? Lesions? Other than the arcs you mention, which I do not see b-t-w, do you see anything else that appears and stays after the pain? Can you describe the type of pain for me? I'm sorry to ask so many questions, but this is an important factor. Like I said, I have not mentioned this, only because I do have pain everywhere most of the time, but the intensity is different for each type of pain. Do you have any type of cramping with this pain? Where? There's another area that I would like to know about...your eyes. Have you noticed any change in your vision since discovering this organism? If so, what is it like? How often does it happen? How do you feel when it is happening? How long does it last? I too have so many different things hapening inside my body, that I need to categorize them according to area. Some of which I have mentioned above only started when this SG became noticeable. I am working up to a full blown attack in the next day or so, they are coming closer together than ever before. I can feel the fullness, the swelling of the abdomen, the pressure in my chest cavity, and the loud noises coming from that area. It is not gas, of that I'm sure. I'm seeing more eggs lately too...and seeds. The black balls are about to emerge again...I've passed several smaller ones lately, but the larger ones are on the way! Those are painful, to say the least. Have you been monitoring your stool to see if there is anything like the black balls, dense netting like tissue, or rediae? Unless you find some of these things, it will be difficult to assess if it is indeed the same thing. Thanks for providing me with more info...I know it's not easy, and if you'd rather PM me, that's OK too. I know I've asked so many questions, but communication is the only way we're going to get a better assessment of what this is. Time for bed....Love, Barb

Lil Sissy.
I also believe fibrosis is occuring, and abnormal deposition of calcium.
Barb.
You mentioned your sleeping giant is underneath you right breast, and that its main activity is erratic except for when preparing food. At that time, it will begin its activity and become more active as the preparation continues, then when you eat, it goes right through you.
When they did the ultrasound scan, did they happen to scan your gallbladder? Most peoples are on the right, underneath the breast. A common method we use in the hospitals when scanning patients with gallbladder disease are pre and post meal scans. There are many modalites that can do this with somewhat varying techniques. A patient has nothing by mouth hours prior to the scan. Nothing. We scan with the ultrasound probe (reader) the gallbladder unstimulated. The patient is then feed a meal or interestingly enough, the gallbladder can also be verbally stimulated by the patient thinking of their favorite meal. The verbal stimulation or eating, will cause the gallbladder to contract and dump bile into the common bile duct which is connected to the intestine. The pancreatic duct is also in the same location and will dump insulin in the same manner.
The location and the activity fits your scenario. I do have a problem with the size of what you are getting out. The dime picture representation is about normal. Considered a larger gallstone formation. But the one you could fit into your palm of your hand, I just dont see that coming from the gallbladder. It couldn't. It wouldn't go through the ducts. Do you think the largest of your specimens featured here could be impacted fecal matter in the intestines. Impacted matter, would contain all sorts of goodies since most impacted matter has been just that, for quite sometime.
Also the pain you experience when the activity starts could also indicate a blockage or a partial blockage of the common bile duct.
The Calmata olives you were getting. Could you post pictures of ones, in which were dry (wiped off), and cut in half lengthwise, and then another cut in half widthwise? It would be interesting to see the "layers".
There are several of you experiencing this same thing? Funny, but I had an abnormal scan of my gallbladder ducts. They were on the upper limits of almost too large but will consider it normal until it gets any larger. Also, my liver enzyme, alk phos. was high indicating gallbladder duct disease. I am curious if this may be a connection. Another interesting point is that parasites are known to go to the ducts and the gallbladder. it is considered quite common.
Has anyone with this same occurence ever had a liver panel done as well? If so, what was your alk phos? This would be supportive in the absence of a identifying scan. Say, the scan didn't show anything. Just wondering if there is a connection.

frito, makes sense could this be? Also the pain you experience when the activity starts could also indicate a blockage or a partial blockage of the common bile duct. Also , I have been looking at this, tinyurl.com/yc44au5, causes a type of puesdocancer. The fibrils it forms looks like the stacked rings. It usually presents in persons wth a deformed big toe along with the second toe being larger. It is also connected to the 1q42 gene . Karen was born with a cervical rib and bone growth in her solarplexes that was removed in her 20's. She is still in the hospital and now has trouble with colic from the surgery and her sugar is being monitored . It was 488 and they had to give her insulin. Jen this pic hmmmmmm, 3rd one down www.swri.org/3pubs/ttoday/fall98/bone.htm

Hydroxyapatite Chemical formula Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 Topics Covered Background
Key Properties
Applications
Biocermic Coatings
Bone Fillers Background Hydroxyapatite is chemically similar to the mineral component of bones and hard tissues in mammals. It is one of few materials that are classed as bioactive, meaning that it will support bone ingrowth and osseointegration when used in orthopaedic, dental and maxillofacial applications.
The chemical nature of hydroxyapatite lends itself to substitution, meaning that it is not uncommon for non-stoichiometric hydroxyapatites to exist. The most common substitutions involve carbonate, fluoride and chloride substitutions for hydroxyl groups, while defects can also exist resulting in deficient hydroxyapatites Key Properties § The ability to integrate in bone structures and support bone ingrowth, without breaking down or dissolving (i.e it is bioactive).
§ Hydroxyapatite is a thermally unstable compound, decomposing at temperature from about 800-1200°C depending on its stoichiometry (see above).
§ Generally speaking dense hydroxyapatite does not have the mechanical strength to enable it to succeed in long term load bearing applications. Applications Bioceramic Coatings Coatings of hydroxyapatite are often applied to metallic implants (most commonly titanium/titanium alloys and stainless steels) to alter the surface properties. In this manner the body sees hydroxyapatite-type material which it is happy to accept. Without the coating the body would see a foreign body and work in such a way as to isolate it from surrounding tissues. To date, the only commercially accepted method of applying hydroxyapatite coatings to metallic implants is plasma spraying. Bone Fillers Hydroxyapatite may be employed in forms such as powders, porous blocks or beads to fill bone defects or voids. These may arise when large sections of bone have had to be removed (e.g. bone cancers) or when bone augmentations are required (e.g maxillofacial reconstructions or dental applications). The bone filler will provide a scaffold and encourage the rapid filling of the void by naturally forming bone and provides an alternative to bone grafts. It will also become part of the bone structure and will reduce healing times compared to the situation, if no bone filler was used.

Just to be perfectly clear, Barb and everyone, I thought the sleeping giant was the organism that is giving us heart pain. These other gastro problems are not happening to me.
and I don't see it as the same culprit.
I'm so anxious to see what Karens Surgeons come up with. I hope they have to remove the material that is strangling our aorta (or whatever), with this sample material they do lab work, and this discovery will lead to a real diagnosis.
I also hope the surgeons are aware there are more patients with this specific problem.

Hi Frito, Sorry to hear that you are suffering from the flu...get REST! Yes, I have a Liver Panel done just about every 6 weeks because of the meds I take. My Alkaline Phosphatase level was within normal range...as well as everything else. So nothing there, unless the panel was compromised in some way. I have a couple of Calamata Olive-like balls that I can cut open and take pix for you. I'll freeze them first so that the dissection will be a clean cut. Otherwise, it will just collapse in on itself, I think...there's a gel inside that will tend to leak out. I don't know if I mentioned this previously or not, but there is a bony structure inside as well...as if it were a protective covering for the head? I will try to free this portion to show you. I have found in many samples something that looks like an arrow, sharp pointed, and long handle...in relation to it's size. That to me would indicate a snail/slug entity where they shoot out the "Love dart" during mating. Looks exactly like that type. This is very hard, and is difficult to cut through. Even though I've researched the lifecycle of the snail/slug and half-slug, I haven't found anything that resembles these blackish balls. It is a mystery that's for sure. Hope you're feeling better, Lady! Will be thinking good thoughts and sending prayers your way! Love, ctbarb
