I recieved a new ozone generator today. had it running for around 3 hrs now at moderate level with open windows. I can say for certain that these things are affected by it in a huge way. What way this is, is too soon to tell and I will update more in a few days BUT, the use of it has triggered something in a massive way with these critters. I dont think they like it at all, and are extremely active, but not biting.
going to ozonate some bath water now and soak. will update results.. Has anyone followed through with Dr Holmes study concerning ozone?

I got the generator, had done alot of research on it before. I bought mine on ebay, going for a second one after payday. Have not gotten a hold or heard from Dr. Holmes, but I took pictures and am following through with his protocol. I have no doctor to help(well, okay mine said I was crazy and I fired him two years ago). I do the bagging(not often enough), have run it in my car and taken brine ozonated baths,(going for one now), also ozone my purified drinking water. Be prepared, they really hate it.The water especially, you will be amazed at how many of the critters have resided in your kidneys, keep drinking it though. I understand you gotta get worse before you get better. I am willing to keep at it for awhile rather than take any drugs . Antibiotics I dont get along with at all. Good Luck let me know what you think.

I have an Enally BT-400 with the air dryer. You do not use this in a room to freshen the air. You use it to sterilize your air, clothing , car, water. Basically, it super oxigenates you air. Most of these look sort of like an aquarium pump with and it hose (where the dryer is attached), and the outlet where you attach your longer hose with the charcoal filter. That is the end you put in water, leave in air , put in tub etc. They cost under 100, and after reading benefits of ozone etc. I am going to keep on using mine at least for my drinking water and i am using it in my car and closet as well as bathrooms etc to sterilize the air.(be sure you check out the instructions before you do this. imbugged

I picked up the Hi efficient air purifier found here on ebay. tinyurl.com/83bycsure the hell stirs them up, not sure as its too soon to call it positive or not. but they do not seem to care for it at all. Im not associated with this seller from ebay, but would like to say that it arrived in 2 days, no problems and the company person I dealt with was excellent... southcity

General Science 101----Ozone ( 0³ ) is a slow poison to the human body---a form of slow death. It does kill microbes but it will kill you also... Do not breath ozone --or put any thing made of rubber in its vicinity--it will desintergrate...

Happy New Year to everyone.
Orion:
It is true that the ozone can kill and in smaller amounts causes brain damage.
I bought my ozonators from the company that Dr. Holmes included in his post to us. I bought 2 for around $100.00. They really do help. I use them in my bathroom, bedroom and so far, closets as well.
The instructions say to use with windows closed, but from personal experience, you must also make sure to keep the air from escaping from the door sills as well.
The instructions also say to ventilate you room for at least 1 hour. THAT IS NOT NEARLY ENOUGH TIME. You really need to let a room air out for at least 2 hours with open windows and if you don't have good ventilation, 3 hours at least.
It is really important for you to HOLD YOUR BREATH when entering the room to open your windows, and if you can, don't breathe until you close the door and walk away.
Since I have been using the machine in the bathroom, the mirror morgs and the strange dust looking morgs have decreased significantly.
I also ozonate water, mouth wash, shampoo, enzyme cleaners and pretty much anything liquid. Be careful because whatever you are ozonating can bubble out in no time flat.

Response/ question for Bulgari5l Wow- are you saying you believe my mouthwash, shampoo bottle and bottles of enzyme spra are contaminated to some degree inside the closed containers? If so, do you think this happens when the cap or top is removed to use or refill and item?
Do you have any experiences that you think support this idea-- I would be interested.
You are the first person I have seen posting about contamination in liquids. I personally have required myself to cover every beverage I am drinking. I also wonder about the safety of he water in the tea kettle.
For the last year I have also tossed out haf full bottles of water--don't let them sit very long and consider still fit to drink. Labeled myself as being overly cautious. Now you are suggesting agreement?
Of course, there is always the issue of the frig. The door opens to let in air when you reach for anything. If your theory is correct, the fun never ends. Betsy

Betsy,
I am not suggesting that the liquids I mentioned are contaminated. Knowing that ozonating helps in reducing or killing bacteria, fungi, viruses, etc., it seems logical to me (not scientific fact) that ozonating will only enhance whatever I choose. As far as water is concerned, I used to throw out bottled water after a time, now I don't feel it's necessary, as the ozone effect lasts.

I don't know much about this, but I find the thread very informative. I keep thinking I should simply mention that when I was at the mall, at a store called Brookstone, I looked at the systems they carry. The salesperson told me that they would be getting a better version of this system in during january (now) and what would be different is: that somehow the discharge that aggravates asmatics, would be filtered, or somehow not produced.
It is the funny smell like computer odor I thought where he showed me what was currently discharged. He said they've learned this is bad for asmatics. The cost was only slightly more for the newer machine.
Just thought I would share the info, spec

I bought the Ozone machine suggested by Dr. Holmes and he suggested that I treat the lesions on my head by using a shower cap and inserting the ozone hose under the cap and let run for 20 minutes. It seems to be drying up the lesions. I love the machine and run it in every room of my house. It makes the air smell very fresh. Have also run it in my bath water, but the intense exiting of these monsters was almost too much! Has anybody heard from Dr. Holmes?

NO, i HAVE NOT IMSUNNYGIRL, BUT OTHERS MAY HAVE. I still have not purchased one and certainly mean to do so. Do you have to keep in contact with him? I thought I read where he wants one to just scribe each time after use. I cannot remember. But hey, this is a nominal amount of money for what it does! Another purchase....I did order one of those mosquito control trappers with the ultraviolet light that you plug in. How did it do? I swear, I have never caught one thing, nothing! Either my house is super clean or that the flying little morg bugs are just to small to stay trapped in this machine. When the weather warms up, I'm going to take it outside and plug it in and see what I can catch. I swear it reminds me of the two times I've gone fishing. All I caught was fishsticks! Seriously, I heard rave reviews on this thing so If anybody is having trouble controlling pest in your home, then maybe you should look into this. London

Betsy, I too believe they are in or can contaminate the water system. If you have one of those water in the door type fridges, check the filter. My mom's was so clogged up with black stuff that it cut off the water from getting into the ice maker!!! What is amazing thought is that when we took it to the USDA for examination, they of course didn't find anything! Rrrrriiiiiiiiiiiight.....Anyway, she is also finding worms in the fridge and in the ice cubes. Yuk! Little B@$!%^$!!!!!!

to all,
i have been working with an industrial hygienist, who works with ozone. he has ozinated my house, before we knew what this was. we thought we were fighting mites, ie. scabies. we had very good results but we were unaware that we ourselves were reinfecting our environment. when we went away he has ozinated the whole house for several days. it helped for awhile.
the procedure was very expensive, but he noted that ozone is very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. ozone will kill any living organism, it replaces oxygen with ozone, which breaks down cells.
the other thing he noted -- you need the levels high enough to make sure there is a reaction going on to kill what you want in your environment. he has a meter which reads the level. he has used this in many houses that have mold, and had been successful.
he suggested that when we ozinate any area that first seal the room cover any vents, and seal around the door. let it run for 24-48 hrs. (make sure you don't smell it out of the area) after that time you must properly vent the area and do not enter until the levels have come down. he gave me the specifics on how quickly it dissipates but i don't remember exactly. i usually wait a couple hours to be on the safe side.
we bought our own machine but you need to get the right kind. living air - alpine.
we do this in our mini van. and it works well. we turn the van on, put the heat on high with the machine in the van (make sure your air is on recirculate) and leave the van running for about 5 hours. (make sure the window are all closed -- we allow a little room for the cord) make sure you air out the car for awhile before using it.
i talked to him and finally gave him our current diagnosis and he said he will try to help. he feels that ozinating the house is the way to go. i just want to sell it and start over.
if you find some one to do this make sure they use a meter and monitor it, otherwise they may just be wasting your time and money or can make you even sicker.
hope this helps.

The key to not becoming poisoned by ozone is to buy the kind that limits the amount of free radicals created in the production of O3. Those free radicals, once discharged from some oxygen atoms into others forming O3 are what you have to be careful around. Homemade ozonators are really bad by creating too many free radicals which don't immediately re-bond with the oxygen atom, allowing for them to be breathed in, if you're not careful.
