A friend of mine wrote and produced and sings this song. Made me think of y'all. www.ourstage.com/tracks/HFRNUTJUDRLNPS I'm still morg-free after 3.5 years! Happy and healthy and wishing for the best for everyone else. Feeling so lucky to only having SUFFERED with Morgellons for less than one year. Basically it was only about 6 months of HELL. That was long enough. I can't imagine it having gone on any longer. I needed and received the help I begged for. With that help, I developed faith that I could beat this. Be strong. You are powerful. Love, Greta

Greta -
Thank you for coming back now and then and sharing your success. You are not the only one. For whatever reason(s), there are many who have at least felt healed but seldom post. For newcomers who are frightened half out of their minds, hearing from someone who has recovered may be a life saver.
Bessie
ps - It's almost two years for me of near full remission. Just enough left to remind me that something is not quite right. For me, that may be as good as it gets, and I can live with that.

I have not had any remission from this since the year 2000, however the symptoms come and go in cycles, some of them very lengthy. I am glad you are symptom-free but I myself have a hard time believing that you have what I have.

I am glad you are symptom-free but I myself have a hard time believing that you have what I have. Dear Doubter, I can't assure you enough that I had Morgellons. I had the nastiest case of blue, red, black and white fibers infesting my body. Even my doctor could see them and the black specks too. I also had tons of sand like crud and glitter coming out of the lesions that covered my body. Pulling the fibers out was like weeding a garden. They also came out of my nose and my urinary tract and my ears hurt like hell. I looked like a zombie and felt hopeless depressed and like I could not go on. The lesions were self-erupting. Intense itchiness, stinging pain, and creepy-crawly sensations kept me from sleeping or focusing. Sound anything like what you have experienced?

Greta, I hope you will share the protocol you followed. You are most fortunate to have beaten "Morgellons," and I'm really curious as to how you accomplished this. Congratulations and Thank you.

Dear Greta, Congratulations on beating whatever you had! I second Sidney and wish you could share whatever saved you...we could use some good news right about now. Do you have any photos of what these lesions looked like? Or what came out of them so we could compare with the many different things we are seeing? That would be soooooooo helpful! Photos can speak a thousand words....in so many ways, as I'm seeing everyday. Please take a look at my thread "Do you have pix that look like this?" and see if there is anything there that looks like what you saw. I'm searching far and wide for anyone that has these organisms in their body - or even HAD them at one point. Thank you for looking and replying one way or another. I'm so very happy for you that you are healed. Love and prayers. ctbarb

No, not too late, but I so understand what you're saying here. I've had it since August 1991, and please don't give up.
Consider getting some specimens into a petri dish and sending to the Natural Link Mold Lab. I'm ordering more and will gladly send you one if interested. Hang on....you're not alone and in damn fine company, actually!

Greta, I checked out your email site on the web. You looked really healthy all the way back to 2005. Your skin was so lesion free. In fact you looked like the picture of health. I also see that you work for a movie production company or something like that? You sit on the board of that company too. Would you ever consider helping us make a video about Morgellons? Just thought I'd mention - DoraIsabel has posted repeatedly that she is symptom-free after having M very seriously. Had lost all her hair along with all the skin issues. I saw "before" picture of her on that TV show last year on Univision (Aqui Y Ahora).
It happens.

I have had symptoms since 1999. For me it has been long periods of strong symptoms folllowed by short periods of remission cycles like MF's. Besides gunk, mass fibers, gel sand, splinters etcetera the brain fog is stupifying

Sorry, I'm getting a little confused here.
People can have symptoms and fit criteria for morgellons without having visible lesions (or no lesions at all) The scalp and the nape of the neck for lesion sites is discussed often. That's where I get mine. Sometimes I'll get something on my face but will try to leave it alone so it doesn't scar. I looked at Greta's site too. What a beautiful collection of pictures. I also saw a lesion on her face in a couple pictures and some other issues in the T zone too. Why the third degree here? What's up?

Makes me sick to come here to this site. Seriously makes me feel like barfing to be reminded of being sick with Morgellons. I have pix of me with lesions all over my face, but I'm not sure where I've hidden them. Am mortified about them, which is why I've never posted them. The only pix of me That I've posted online during that time were during a wedding in which I had tons of makeup caked on my face and arms to cover the lesions. I rarely left the house, but felt that was a due occasion. Thank god for 24hr grocery stores. People were afraid of me. They thought I had some sort of pox or contagious illness. OMG! I really feel like barfing. I did not have microscope photography for the lesions or fibers. I did do high res scanning of a few and posted them on this site. I do not remember my exact protocol, but I had posted it on this forum as I was doing it! So it should be in the archives. My descriptions of what I was going through should help assure that I was experiencing what you are. I had the black specks and fibers infesting my skin and body. Bright blue and ruby red fibers. Non healing lesions bursting with fiber and fiber balls and all sorts of junk, including glitter. Painful stinging. Crawling sensations. Driving me crazy hurting ears. Could not focus on anything but the overwhelming unbearable miserable hopeless made me want to die agony. Sound familiar? Much love, Greta
