This doesn't cure, but it is the best prescription thing that I've encountered so far. Hydrocortison ointment with terramycin- 10mg/ and 30 mg/g. Under that it says 'hydrocortizone/ oxytetracyclinhydrochlorid'. It's made by Pfizer.
My doctor says to use it for 10 days, twice a day, then STOP, because otherwise you develop immunity to it. So I do that, and use it only when the lesions get quite bad. It clears them up in a few days, then the skin remains fragile. They aren't completely healed, it's more like they're deactivated. Some will go away, others just wait to come back. But at least it's something. And it doesn't make the skin raw and red.
Oh- I should mention though that this ointment works while I am avoiding all sugar, milk, and modified foods. It has to be a combined effort.

Happy for you in tokyo! I've never had lesions, but I have numerous red bumps on my skin and recently have been seeing round spots of blood appear out of nowhere. So I'll get some and give it a shot on those... thanks!

I just wanted to bump this message up again. Maybe someone will see it and be helped. I'm on day 3 of this ointment again, and my skin is almost clear enough to leave the house without makeup. 3 days ago I had 40 bleeding gel lesions on my face. It doesn't kill the morgs, but it sure does provided some needed relief once in a while.

In Tokyo,
Here in the US, terramycin is on indefinate backorder in most pharmacies as well as other countries. Even the vet med sites.

Indefinate backorder? That's bizarre. Are they not producing it, or is it just too popular? Sorry to hear that.

I am not sure why at this time. I am currently investigating. I did check with the manufacturers and it is also the case there, again, I do not know why at this time. I could not find one website in which had it in stock, people or vet. I am not sure what the ducks offices are doing at this time either. Whether it is that popular and is being prescribed alot or not.
I did have a tube and I did try it. It was helpful on my little acne bumps, but not on the one lesion I have left.
Terramycin, for others whom may not know, is a bacterial protein synthesis inhibitor.
Thanks for posting this anyhow, and will update with further info as I can find it, and time permits.
Tokyo, if you can find anything out, will you update as well?

Hey there Tokyo, I think I may have been able to come up with a reason as to why Terramycin is on backorder. Terramycin, is extensively used in dogs, cats, cattle, equine, sheep, swine, and look at this one.....Bees!!! tinyurl.com/yg9wtxxWhen one is watching the animals, this oxytetracycline seems to be used for a lot of them. Interestingly, it is used to combat leptospirosis, and protozoa among other uses I have found. Frito

And chickens.
I saw on one site where terramycin has been discontinued and is now being replaced with Duramycin.
Edited to add: Cautions of superinfections, hence the ten day recommended use and discontinuation of the antibiotic.

Thanks Frito, that's interesting. Bees? Hmmm. I'll try to see if there is a place here that can accept perscrip orders from there via mailorder, and will post if I find a place. It definately stops my fiber lesions, and takes away the under-the-skin raised tube bumps or however we would describe them.
