I also get the purple skin, I would describe mine as purple, reddish blackish and also yellowish white spots.
If an area is really bothering me I will put DMSO on it, or rub in Zostrix (a super hot capsicum cream) or spend extra time on the frequency machine on parasite or mold frequencies. All this seems to help a little bit.

Hey Karen. So very, very glad yo see you posting occas. We all have you and Jen in our hearts, and stand with you both in prayerful and loving support as you face your crisis. We ask for all God's grace to surround you and carry you to restored health! The TENS (Trans Cutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator) is a very good thought for sure...let's electrocute the little buggers! I used one off & on, for severe low back pain, for sev. yrs before surgery/spinal fusion in Apr 07. 3 wks after surgery I got a tick bite, with a reaction but since the WB was neg. my PCP said "Cant be Lyme"...my ASS!) A few wks after that was the onset of Morgs. Was it surgery, spinal hardware, blood transfusions, tick toxins, all of the above, none of the above, a flooded basement in my pond- front cottage...a "cascade" of events as my LLMD said? Who knows. All I know is that after many months of Morgs the , I strapped that TENS unit on and put the sticky pads on areas of Morg "activity" and jacked that baby up to a level of intensity that I was practically having muscle spasms, intent on frying these organisms. Despite prolonged efforts to electrocute them, Morgs survived, maybe even thrived. I think the organisms adapt to anything we throw at 'em...they metabolize noxious stimuli like vitamins. Hell, Id almost throw some Napalm on 'em if I could get my hand on some... almost, I say, but not quite! Nanny, the effects of Morg on our minds is what an gers me more than ALL the rest...yeah, even more that the itch from the bowels of hell! This is one nasty "basterd"! flo

Hey Flo, Glad your feeling better. I had to have fusion surgery too! Years later They had wanted to implant me with one of those electrical stimulators in the space between spinal cord. Stronger by a lot than a tens I coulda shocked the heck out of these critters. However the thought of being a little lightening rod freaked me out too much and I didn't understand that morgellons would be such an issue in my life. Now I couldnt get that spinal cord stimulator if I wanted to. I was living in NYC at the time and medical care was oh sooooo much better there than it is here in podunk, WA . Well enough of my blathering and glad your feeling better! inez

I don't know how I could've missed your first post on page 1 glennb... but I did. Maybe we were posting at the same time? Anyway, I'm sorry I never replied to you, but that's why. I just never saw your post until today. I've got that chirping stuff goin on in my left ear tho too... been doin that for a long time now. Sometimes it even sounds like morse code with alot of crackling sounds... almost like interference you'd hear on a radio. It's also plugged constantly... the only thing that relieves it for a bit is pouring a little peroxide in it and let it bubble for awhile. Then I tilt my head back over and get all kinds of goopy colors of stuff out of it from yellow, to green, to black. Same exact things goin on with my eyes as yours too... in fact you and I have alot of the same sensations and symptoms.
I wish you had a scope you could post pics here with. Course I still haven't taken mine outta the box yet that massena sent me. Don't wanna see anymore is why... I see more than enough around here and on me as it is. I'm just waiting for that feeling to pass (if it ever will) then I'll get back to scoping again. Now that I think about it, I wonder what's goin on with my old scope that I sent to a researcher who wanted to study the growth that took place on the base from the drop of gel that came outta my finger. Better email him and ask I guess, duh! I actually forgot about that... but like I say, my brain's stuck on pause. I forget what I'd just said seconds after I said it most days!
Is frequency therapy the same as a rife machine? I can't afford one of those or I'd buy one in a flat second. Someone who used to post here let me use something like that but it didn't do anything. At least I think it was some kind of rife type machine... can't even remember that now. I should start playing every tournament or game there is to play on the internet where you can win money so I can just go and buy anything and everything that might effect this sh*t! All I do is sit at my puter these days anyway! I'll get some of that Zostrix cream and try it on the areas of my skin that vibrate tho. Can you buy it from a store or do you need a script for it? I sure hope you're feeling better buddy... did you decide against the chemo for now? Whatever you do, we know God's right there by your side. Hang in there and stay strong my friend... you too Karen. Have you noticed any difference in morgs since going thru chemo? My heart really hurts for you guys. I keep praying for you every single night and I'm always around if you ever wanna talk... (661)724-1163.
Wally... you're funny! I've often thought about goin and gettin shock treatments to see if that would electrocute these little bast*rds too (good term for them!) But unfortunately, those here trying to fight cancer as well haven't even seen their chemo treatments effect the suckers. Really makes you wonder what will if that won't.
I think we just might be wrong about the electrocution thing tho guys... morgs is creating additional electricity in our bodies as it is, so says Dr. Hildy. I believe it too cuz I feel like an electrical conductor most times. Maybe I should go stand out in the next electrical storm we have. I read where a woman with MS and was confined to a wheelchair was struck by lightning and it actually cured her! Pretty freaky eh?
Ibzahp, you, me, and wally all have spinal disease and I think all of us have had spinal surgery too. I had mine in 1996... sometimes I wonder if that "chip" I got outta me was implanted during my surgery. Either my spinal surgery or my shoulder surgery (I have 4 metal anchors in it.) Did you know a person can be implanted with those kinds of devices without the patient ever even knowing about it? That's pretty criminal isn't it? But what isn't these days!

Thanks Inez, for the kind welcome back. We all outta have a metal-implant party to see which one of us sets off the airport scanner first. I used to say, "Its a good thing that I have a titanium spine," but now I think it was the last straw for my immune system just before Morgs moved in. You do know I suspect about all the "stealth" infections associated with medical implants...which would be mighty hard to prove, as hospitals are better at dogging liability than even mortgage bankers are, if that's possible! flo

I've had spinal surgery, but don't have a titanium spine! Wow, that must be weird wally! I think any surgeries we've had probably tilted our immune systems a bit... I also had chickenpox about 2 years before I got morgs. Had meningitis as a kid and cystitis too... also 2 ectopic pregnancies, yada yada yada. Flatlined 3 times in my life as well... but God's just been too busy to wanna deal with all my silliness and questions up there I guess, so He left me down here for now! But I guess all the surgeries and illnesses we've had came back into play once morgs hit us huh? It likes to get you where your weaknesses are and probably why my spine feels like hot molten lava, I have re-occurring bladder infections again, and at times wish I were flat lining again too! Nah, just kiddin on that last one. But it does seem to find your weaknesses and stomp on 'em even more than the rest of your bod!
Anyway, I just wanted to add that today's the 12th... I started feeling this "new symptom" around the 1st of the month. I haven't felt it again the last 3 days. So it lasted a little over a week. I'm gonna start keeping track of my symptoms and see if there's a pattern or cycle and how long each one lasts. Plus write down what helped each one, if anything. The only thing that helped this one tho was holding the lighter over my skin. Don't know what keeping a journal's gonna tell us, but I'm gonna do it anyway!

This is a quick reply-I* get those horrible chirping sounds in my head too and high pitched noise-I know this stuff must be causing some damage. Hate those chirps . Also I have noticed I get little static electric shocks Sometimes. Right now I have this high pitched noise going on! Love you guys and Nanny you are not alone! Namaste, ibzahp

Nanny, did you happen to see either time that I posted a link for Kammy? It was an article on paper batteries. There was a photo in the article that looked exactly like the posting Kammy had put on the LB that looked like a fungus gnat eating it's casing and pooping out those round donut-looking things (can't remember what they are called). You might want to ask Kammy if she can forward it to you. I would, but I'm at work and can't once again take the time to find it and resend it yet a third time. It could be part of your condition--especially since paper causes you such problems.

Oh Bananny, I apologize for not posting sooner...I read your post last week and want to say that I have had the same experience....with the explosion of the little sparks and I completely identify with rush to the bathroom to shake off the clothes and break it all up....and you mentioned the lighter!!....Girl, I've been using the lighter method my Boyfriend always catches me and tries to take it from me, but I say NOOO! It gets rid of it!!...I'll tell you a funny story about that lighter...My Boyfriend always says I'm gonna light myself on fire...one time, I had just treated my head with half a bottle of Rubbing Alcohol....I sat looking on my pants for the stuff that was making the crawly feelings ...I got the lighter and was going over the pant legs and got to the crotch(which had gotten wet from the alcohol dripping from my hair) and I lit my ass on fire!!! It's ok I didnt get burned and i was glad that no one saw that ....so be careful with it...
Anyway I am glad to see that someone else reported this strange aspect of Morgellons....

Here's the quote from the Baculo Thread that ((Violet)) is referring to: Hey Violet, I'm not sure of which article you sent me... if you could find it again - you could post it here for all of us to see? Don't want you to go out of your way if you can't easily, tho'... TY! I FOUND THE ARTICLE!!!! Please look at this and you will see the paper battery picture that is idential to your fungus gnat larva pictures! The article is veeerrrryyy interesting, mentioning how the batteries are made from paper. Talks of their being inserted into clothing and paper. Please everyone, let me know your reaction to this picture and article in light of what we all have been experiencing.
www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34149776/ns/technology_and_science-future_of_energy/Excerpt: The key to this new battery turned out to be an often bothersome green algae known as Cladophora. Rotting heaps of this hairlike freshwater plant throughout the world can lead to unsightly, foul-smelling beaches.
This algae makes an unusual kind of cellulose typified by a very large surface area, 100 times that of the cellulose found in paper. This allowed researchers to dramatically increase the amount of conducting polymer available for use in the new device, enabling it to better recharge, hold and discharge electricity. Also this information from another site:

Laboratory at Uppsala University Uppsala University (Swedish Uppsala universitet) is a public university in Uppsala, Sweden, 64 kilometres (40 miles) north-northwest of Stockholm.[1] Founded in 1477, it claims to be the oldest university in Scandinavia, outdating the University of Copenhagen in Sweden have discovered that the distinctive cellulose nanostructure of the green Cladophora algae algae (ăl`jē) [plural of Lat. alga=seaweed], a large and diverse group of primarily aquatic plantlike organisms. These organisms were previously classified as a primitive subkingdom of the plant kingdom, the thallophytes (plants that can serve as an effective coating substrate for use in environmentally friendly Environmentally friendly, also referred to as nature friendly, is a term used to refer to goods and services considered to inflict minimal harm on the environment.[1] batteries.
"These algae has a special cellulose structure characterised by a very large surface area," said Gustav Nystrom, a doctoral student in nanotechnology and the first author of the research article.
"By coating this structure with a thin layer of conducting polymer, we have succeeded in producing a battery that weighs almost nothing and that has set new charge-time and capacity records for polymer-cellulose-based batteries," he added.
Despite extensive efforts in recent years to develop new cellulose-based coating substrates for battery applications, satisfactory charging performance proved difficult to obtain.
However, nobody had tried using algae.

algal infection is very rare but systemic and udder infections are recorded. See protothecosis.
Researcher Albert Mihranyan and Professor Maria Stromme at the Nanotechnology and Functional Materials Department of Engineering Sciences at the Angstrom Laboratory had been investigating pharmaceutical applications of the cellulose from Cladophora algae for a number of years.
This type of cellulose has a unique nanostructure, entirely different from that of terrestrial plants, that has been shown to function well as a thickening agent Thickening agents, or thickeners, are substances which, when added to a mixture, increase its viscosity without substantially modifying its other properties, such as taste. They provide body, increase stability, and improve suspending action. for pharmaceutical preparations and as a binder in foodstuffs.
The possibility of energy-storage applications was raised in view of its large surface area.
"We have long hoped to find some sort of constructive use for the material from algae blooms and have now been shown this to be possible," said Maria Stromme, Professor in Nanotechnology and leader of the research group.
"The battery research has a genuinely interdisciplinary character and was initiated in collaboration with chemist professor Leif Nyholm. Cellulose pharmaceutics experts, battery chemists and nanotechnologists have all played essential roles in developing the new material," she added.
The research introduces an entirely new electrode material for energy storage applications, consisting of a nanostructure of algal cellulose coated with a 50 nm layer of polypyrrole.
Batteries based on this material can store up to 600 mA per cm3, with only 6 per cent loss through 100 charging cycles.
"This creates new possibilities for large-scale production of environmentally friendly, cost-effective, lightweight energy storage systems," said Maria Stromme. (ANI)

I'm thinking: That the algae of cyanobacteria has been implicated as being a part of Morgellons... we have algae/fungi inside of us growing... That we are carbon entities like the paper and therefore we are a new type of battery. We believe that our electric fields and energy has changed. That most of us came into contact with the carbon ink material from copy machines and modern printer ink cartridges... did this transfer to inside of us through our pores to allow us to become evident? That what constitutes a thermonuclear battery is iron and nickel... we are showing that our 'spheres' have an inordinate amount of iron - that our 'spheres' are in a producing state as if battery-charged. Where does the organism defecating come in?... I believe that the material that is in the organism's feces (one of our spheres) is possibly similar to what they are using to make the new paper batteries.

Wow monika... you're nuttier than I am girl! It's good to know (well not good, but you know what I mean) that you're feeling the same sensations as I am. For some reason it always helps to know you haven't lost your marbles completely and are feeling things just cuz you're completely and altogether insane now! Then again, it's good that I'm not the only nutcase here holding a lighter over my skin and head too! You be careful with that alcohol and fire silly! Too bad we can't find something other than that to make it stop eh?
Well kamsters... I think I understand it a little better now, thanks. We had an earthquake here at 4 AM yesterday (I slept thru it) but there haven't been any aftershocks which they're saying is very strange. So could be we're about to have "the big one"... which wouldn't surprise me any. But I've been thinkin too that by the time we do have the big one (it's inevitable) maybe I'll be able to give off my own light and power my own electricity by then... which wouldn't surprise me either!!

We are never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy, at least that's what Seal says...I think that is especially true for us Morgies...It is cool to be able to share that story about the lighter with someone...even tho that someone still thinks its crazy, they can still relate to it....of course the crazy episodes I have had are never witnessed nor do I share them with anyone!!! I'd have to be crazy if I did let any Normies in on any of this...It sure is nice to have some people to tell my secrets to and they totally understand...thanks Nanners.

I knooooow! What on earth would we do without each other? I doubt I'd still be here if it weren't for you guys. Not that I'd have done myself in... but I'd more than likely have run away and be livin in a cave somewhere by now! I still think about doin that sometimes... especially on days like the last few have been. In fact, I've got this feeling inside that somethin's about to happen. Course I feel that from time to time and nothing does. But there've been soooo many of those bright hues of light appearing in the air around me that it's gettin kinda spooky. Looks like a light show here... even in the daytime. I'm all goopy again too and these vibrations are real strong (the ones in my skin.) Fibers and particles everywhere. Morgs must be doin what everything else is doin right now... BLOOMING.

I have been having tons of activity last few days also, it makes me sad because when all I want to do is have some social time with the neighbor lady down the street like I used to do ..only to have to retreat because I can see the stuff flying around the room and on her sofa in front of them!! I can't relax I have to go back home and want to cry. The last couple of days the goo stuff is burning into my skin on my chest, back, and shoulders...I guess its coming down from my hair and burning into my skin...and also all over my clothes and I cannot get a break from it....I worry now that this may be another stage the one that works its way all over my body and I pray that is not the case because I HAVE to finish my schooling...Some days I would cut my arm off to be normal even for only a few months...I cannot allow this to stop me from what I NEED to do ....I pray for all of us to have some reprieve...love ya too

I totally relate monika... I'm gonna try to start changing my life again (if you read my "one big question" thread. I need to see real people again and go places again. Life wasn't meant for me to become the recluse I've become. So I wanna try to stop letting this mess control me... like you said tho, you find yourself just running back home cuz of the morg reactions that start to take place wherever you go. Since no one understands, it just ends up making you feel even lonelier. But I'm not gonna let that stop me from trying anymore. My life's just become too sad and too lonely.
I hope you start to feel better monika... but we can't just stop fighting as far as our personal lives go either.

Dear Bannanny, I've had 'dulled electrical shocks' running thru my body--now mostly my head--for at least a year. Used to start at my feet and reverberate upward thru entire body and head. It comes and goes. Now I get these (noncontagious) 'shocks' which last for a few seconds (10-15 tops) only in my head. I'm taking biology and anatomy & physiology courses, and one day in class I almost fell over as I wasn't putting 2 & 2 together. Since humans are electrically wired to do anything, I think what we're experiencing are (and I'm being really basic [probably ignorant--lol] here) are misfirings of synapses or the like and tiny seizures. Since the parasites and fibers, etc., are geographically (within one's body) unlimited, naturally, their entrance into and partial dominance of the central nervous system is a given. The foreign matter in & on us are pretty powerful, and in the hierarchy of things, we're the end product as nothing eats/overtakes us. As you already know, they change us at a cellular and dangerous level, similar to what cancer does. Some parasites' final destination, for example, is muscle tissue. Anyway, I haven't had any 'shocks' probably for a month now, but I expect them to return, though now that I have an inkling of the basis therein, I'm a little more worried. Also, I wandered to Dr. Chan's website, read about aerobic/anaerobic organisms and hydrogen peroxide, and I ordered from Oxy Life hydrogen peroxide pills (part of a hydrotherapy routine). I haven't taken any yet, but do you know anything about any of that/him?? Thanks. And best wishes, jlilac999

Interesting take on the shocks jlilac! You know more than I do that's for sure! I've never heard of Dr. Chan either and I didn't even know there was such a thing as hydrogen peroxide pills, duh! But I'd love to hear back from you if you notice any good results from taking them. Just pm me when you know ok? Thanks for the info too!
