Lately my fibers and granules attempt to go right under my fingernails. This magnet like action has grown much stronger over the last six months. Does anyone else have the same thing going on? Has it got worse with time? It is troubling to be like a furry magnet and very weird. I would love to show my doctor ???does anyone have a theory on what is causing this. The stuff heads for right under my fingernails if given the chance. This is sooo not normal. Thanks Morg sisters and brothers for being here for me . Big Hugs.

A few weeks ago a stretched a blanket over the grass to rest in the spring air. Ah how relaxing, so I thought anyway. Relaxing until I looked at my fingernail. A fiber from the blanket was going straight through the top of my fingernail. So unsettling and perplexing. Was it a special fiber on the blanket? Or something inside of me pulling it in?? I sure don't get it.

I don't know but, Barb says that when you clip our fingernails and look at them under the microscope - they're made up of fibers. From the microscopic photo I saw - the fibers appear to be interwoven into our nails. I haven't looked at a clipped nail of mine or anyone else's yet - can't verify this statement but looks to be true.
