I don't know what to say. I haven't been feeling well at all, and I have unknowlingly let myself be manipulated into a position in which I was let go this evening.
There are those out there that have asked for my help lately, and I haven't been able to give it. I am so sorry, but I was trying to take care of me and my own.
Some kind uplifting words would be helpful right now please.

Frito, sweetheart, I'm so sorry for you. The pain never seems to stop. I've read your posts and have concluded you have a brilliant mind. You will get through this painful setback and a good job ,maybe even a better one awaits you. If you have a best friend close by, confide in them, don't carry this burden alone. I know you can do it even if you have to shed a few tears to unburden yourself. Things will get better for you. Morghunter.

Hi Frito,
Are you okay as far as getting by for awhile until you find another job? Manipulated into being fired - so sorry, it sounds like an emotionally difficult way to lose a job.
Hang in there. You will feel better and something else will come along. It sounds like you were not in good company anyway.
Perhaps, as a result of this, you will find a work situation that is better.

Frito, I have a substantial variety of problems at this time as well. Some financial and some not. The other day I was anxious- border line panicky and a scripture came to mind that calmed me right away: www.jesus-is-savior.com/Believer%27s%20Corner/eyes_on_jesus.htm "And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me." -Matthew 14:29,30 Peter was actually walking on water until he took his eyes off the Lord - then he started to sink. The point of these verses are all about Faith. Something that I have to work on daily. Keep your eyes- your focus on Him and He will take care of the rest for you. Open doors that you could never imagine. Believe that. It is true. If we, as Christians, knew what real power we have we could move mountains. As for myself, I have never met a person with that sort of Faith or personal relationship with Christ but I'm sure there are some out there. So for me, I have to work on my Faith daily- giving my troubles to the Lord- He is Faithful. www.youtube.com/watch?v=79ipdT3pYeE&feature=related bible.cc/luke/17-6.htm Matthew 17:20 And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. I believe all of it- and the Lord has seen me through some really rough times in life. Still, at times, my faith is shaken. Frito, you are an intelligent woman and I'm certain that you are hardworking and possess many valuable talents, traits and characteristics that any employer would treasure. You are licensed to practice in a field where you can command a very comfortable income. You write down all the positive things about yourself and study them. Think only positive. Don't belabor the hurtful situation that just happened, it will only keep the wound open and painful. We can not change the past only shape the future and that starts now for you. I will pray that you quickly find a new and better job and you keep the faith? Jill Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 bible.cc/hebrews/11-1.htm

Frito, You are one of the smartest and the kindest people I know. If they were stupid enough to fire you, then truly it is their loss and they do not deserve to have you working for them. I know that you will find something better in a short time. I am praying for you and sending healing thoughts your way. I know this is a real blow but I cannot help but think that something better is coming along and coming before you know it.

Deep breath. I will help you: a) consider options b) update resume c) do searches d) financially e) keep panic at bay You just let me know what and how. Personally I think it's healthy to allow yourself a rip-roaring, no-holds barred, royal hissy fit to vent some of the fear, regret, anger, etc. Kids have the right idea- stomp, kick, flail around, cry, scream till you feel numb or punch drunk. Then belt out I am Woman and I will Survive till you believe it. Cause you will. Kiki

Fritolay, I know your pain. I am so sorry that you are going through this. It is so awful. I just felt so darn scared when it happened to me. I went immeditely to unemployment. I hope you go too. Also, if you can and you want, you could always go to school. President Obama has it so that unemployed can go to school for practically free. I mean I know taxes pay for it, but heck, I worked all my life, since I was 15 and believe me, I deserve to use the system a little bit. And please go to all the unemployment classes, they are free, wel most are free. They will help you redo your resume too. Go get your hair cut, nails done nice and go to the unemployment classes looking good. You never know who you might meet that can help you get a job. IN the mean time, get some good books, exercise, and lots of rest, and some motivational tapes. Then pray pray pray pray that God will give you another job. Interview like crazy even for jobs you don't want. You will be surprised at how professional you wil get at interviewing. Fact you will know the questions the interviewee asks before they ask it. I am praying for you. Keep your chin up and go forward. This too will pass. Blessing to you, ChicagoBonnie

Frito, I sure agree with everyone here. You're a smart gal, and you're tough...and because you have Morgs, NOTHING compares with dueling with that daily. There sure is a reason for everything: regrouping of thoughts, regrouping of direction, and I know sometimes at the moment it doesn't seem like the time for all that, but there IS a reason. Trust that, (there's a reason) and you can do this, because you have what it takes to fix and resolve this problem, and you will - because you've got what it takes, and more!

I got fired once - unjustly, it made me so angry for a long time. I was mixing my own saline solution to save money for my contact lens - a bacteria must gotten in there - my eyes were red, they thought I was on drugs. They told me this as they were firing me... it was too late by then, it was my co-workers that went 'snitching' on me to tell management that my eyes were red all the time...
I was so angry, because the way they did it - I had already been marked... they had just changed me from 3rd to 1st shift... I wasn't used to getting up early and dealing with ice on the windshield, etc., I came into work 2 minutes late and got a warning... the next time, I was 1 minute late and that's when they fired me. Of course, the manager would come in 15 minutes late...
I couldn't get unemployment for some reason... and they wouldn't give me a good referral, it ruined my carrier at that time, it was cruel... I harbored a lot of resentment for a long time. Don't let it eat at you, Frito, it's not worth the energy... they will get theirs, eventually. We need you around here, anyway...

Dear Frito, I'm very sorry this has happened to you! As others have suggested, sign up for unemployment asap. You're such a smart and fine person. I'm keeping you in my prayers. I have a gut feeling that your next position will be much better for you. Hang in there, watch your breathing (calm yoga breathing) and know that God is with you. Also, keep in touch here allot for now. There is so much love and support for you here as I'm sure you know.
Lots of love, Merc

I'm so sorry frito, but some people have a different purpose in life than you do and I'd say it's good that you're no longer associated with those who's purpose is far away from what you believe in. Look at this pic every day... and believe God has just opened a door for you. big hugs ~~ bannanny

Frito, the other night I was in my living room when I heard two shots ring out. I live in southwest Detroit and we here shots to much but this time they where very close. I ran out on the front porch to see a man shotting another man, He shot him again in th back , the man was scrambling for his life trying to get in his front door while the shooter was taking aim again. I started yelling at him with everything in my soul I was about 20 feet right in line with the shooter,
To make the story short the shooter shot at me and then accidental shot himself in a major artery. I am a firm believe what goes around comes back around maybe not always that quick but God does have all of us in his hand .
Please pray for the man who did the shooting he is hell bound if the lord does not intervene. I truly felt worse for the hell bound shooter than the victim only after it was over , here all things pass. They expect my neighbor to live he took three bullets .
I hope somehow this helps.
Jen
That was three days ago and I had no feeling about it until tonight, that was truly the sickest thing I have ever seen.

Things do happen for a reason and certainly not to punish you. A lot of good advice here for you. I would say that anyone who manipulated you so they could fire you did not deserved the good person you are and so you are gone and on to better things. It may not seem that way right now but doors do open. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, Frito. 22122

Dearest Frito, Those who chose to be cruel to you will feel the pain for what they've done...have no doubt. Spend not one second thinking of them and th horrors they concoct. Have you been to the Dept of Labor to file a complaint? Was this a violation of your civil rights, or labor rights? Was this discrimination? If you are over 40, you have rights to file a compliant...write own everything that you can remember prior to this unjust firing....and take it to the Labor Board ASAP. Then go to the Unemployment Dept. and file as well. Has this happened to anyone else before? If so, there may already be a complaint file on this hospital...most folks don't think about these things....save yourself first! I'm so sorry this has happened but it sounds like someone was "out to get you" and that is illegal! Make some noise and get them investigated... We all know how intelligent you are and how giving to others...but this time, give to yourself first! We love and care about you! My prayers are going out to you Dear One. (Sorry my typing is still not good becuz of the stroke...) HE is beside you - just reach out for His hand! Love and prayers, Barb
