Hi everyone, I am pretty excited I found a Lyme Literate ND who is only an hour away. She wants to see me on Monday Morning and she has a chapter written in a book that has chapters by 13 different Lyme docs and all their perspectives. New book-can't remeber name. Anyways she wanta to see me on Monday and her name is Dr. Susan Marra. She is in Kirkland, WA anyone heard of her? I feel so sick lately-really could use some help from a good doctor. She has Morgellons patients that she treats. Hooray! She uses herbs and antibiotics.

Hi ibzahp, good luck to you. I hope you get some relief. I'm in a non-functioning mode right now, well starting 5 days ago. My husband and I, planned to go to Vegas, & at the last minute my body just quit on me, & I'm at home, & he's there now. I have people taking care of me though. I think I just have mold/ fungal overflow. I'm pretty sure I must have a temp., but I can't find my thermometer. Just hoping I don't get more brain damage. My mouth tastes like parasites which is pretty nasty.I've had my first experience after 6 years of parasites running up, & down my legs. I guess I'm having a near death experience right now. I'm thrilled for you. Seems like drs, some of them , are learning something. It's about time. I can't control my body temp, at all, & am freezing, or boiling, and my head is like windmills going way too fast, or like fans, getting ready to explode although my massive headache went away yesterday, and I slept 14 hours last night. Please forgive me for rambling on your thread. Do you have any of my symptoms? Ah, poop, I just never expected something like this. I'm on antibiotics, & being cared for by 2 morg. docs who seems like I tell them what to do. Please keep us informed how you fare. You're in my heart. I hope she makes you feel like a million bucks. ;D Didn't mean to complain. I'm too sick to be sitting here now. I did write a post though. that's something. Love to you, freaky

Dear Inez, I'm so happy you've found someone who is willing to listen and LEARN! Find out the name of her book, too, OK? Half of our battle is to get them to LISTEN, LOOK BEFORE The train his us headon!!! Not later, to pick up the pieces!!! Hope she has something in her Morg Section to help you.... Please tell us when you are able. Love and good wishes, Barb

Freaky, Love, I'm so very sorry to hear that you are having a rough patch here. Is there anything I can do to help??? I know what that hot and cold whirlwind is like, nearly drove me over the edge there...all I did was freeze and sweat, like a melting popsicle! No fun. Get a thermometer and take your temp. If it's over 100F consistently, get to a dr.!!! The parasites could be ramping up for an attack, like mine did. High temps for long periods of time means hospital care, fluids, antibiotics and blood samples for infection.....please do not wait too long to check this out, PLEASE! Much love and prayers, Barb

Freaky Dear, At one time or another I have had all of those symptoms, Freezing, tired,,hurting, ears ringing itching,stinging... But I am really hoping you feel better soon! I just think you are such a sweet person. I figured I better stop my griping and take some kind of action. I would so love to not have to gripe about the M word-Wouldn't that be great?

Thanks Ruth, lilsissy, rhorn and Freaky, I am pretty nervous as I have my appointment monday AND she charges 340 for the first session and and 260 for the 2nd then 215 for follow ups. I so can't afford it. But at least my meds and labs should be covered by medicare.I am thinking since her big specialty is lyme that maybe she can figure out if I have it or not, and she can get me on a program that will really reduce the brain fog , weakness and joint pain and get this itching, stinging and burning under control. i know there are lyme docs closer by that don't believe in Morgellons. Do people think it is smart to follow through on this? I have so many question about whether or not to restart my hep c interferon since the hep c came back 6months post treatment or better to address the hep c in another way. Since she is an ND I think she should have an educated opinion

Barb and Ruth her chapter is one of 13 doctor perspectives called Insights Into Lyme Disease Treatments. Her name is Susan L. Marra ND. Ruth I noticed that there was one other doctor from WA in the book but I don't know whether she treats Morgellons.

Thanks to all of you. My husband, who got the flu in Vegas, almost didn't make it home. He's here with me now, & HAD THE FORESIght, whoops, to tell me to take asprin to reduce my fever. Oh duh, like I really did forget about that , so I've been taking asprin, & right now my temp is 98.6. I think I can kick this. He also got me on gateraide sp? That really makes you feel better.
ibzahp, I was supposed to go to treatment for hep C, but started taking milk thistle, & when I went in to the drs., to start taking the horrid treatment with injections, the docs socks fell off. He couldn't believe I didn't need the treatment. Have you tried this Dauling? One or two a day makes the hep C go away. I hate not mentioning names in talking, or thanking people, but I have to go to bed. Tomorrow, love you all, freaky

I have tried milk thistle and for me it helps keep the viral load down. Have to be careful combining it with other meds. I have this new symptom that feels like bsting. It is the worst on palms and soles of feet but w/out warning is happening all over every so often. Pretty much all the time palms and soles stinging like a bee sting. So glad I will be seeing someone soon. Thanks for all your support and will let you know how it goes:-) Has anyone else had that bee sting or biting fly feeling?
