Well, I got back day before yesterday and I'm still doin ok morg wise, except for a little stickiness appearing in my hands and feet again. Definitely seems better for me in Maryland! Not doin too well bein away from Tom either... BUT he's coming here on the 24th! On the 26th we're goin to my aunt and uncles 50th wedding anniversary party in Orange County. I know my family's gonna love him just as much as I do! Something else has worked out very well too! Remember the thread I posted of the dolphin dog in this video (the one that just so happened to have Tom and Sue's song "What a Wonderful World" playing in the background)...
Well after my leaving a comment at You Tube, he sent me a message and said I'd be welcome to come out on his boat and bring up to 10 people with me for free to watch the dolphins and whales! It works out that he's in Orange County too so we can spend the night in OC after the party then get up and go right to the boat from there! My son also lives in OC so I'm gonna see if they can come along too... so it'll be me and Tom, mom, my sis and her family and my son and his family... including my new grandson!! That right there is exactly a total of 10 people! Then Tom and I will come back here that night (or just stay there since it's closer to the airport) then we'll both be goin back to Maryland on the 28th... and no, I won't be coming back to California! I've found the love of my life and I thank both God and Suebe for it all! Life is beautiful again... morgs or no morgs!
Here's a couple more pics I wanted to share with you guys too!
At Suebe's memorial a pic of Josh's memorial Tom had created in the backyard for our sweet Sue...
Celebrating Sue...
and Josh...
There were so many pics I wanted to post of Sue's day, but people asked for their pics not to be posted on the internet which I had to respect.
The following day we all went to Wash DC for Rolling Thunder. It was sooo beautiful being in a place I'd never been before to honor all our Vietnam Vets. There were over 800,00 bikes in the parade which lasted 3 1/2 hours... during which time a marine who served in 1965 of his own volition stood at the corner thruout the entire parade in full dress in the heat and humidity to salute every single bike that passed by. What an amazing man he is...
Told ya there were A L O T of bikes!
We were also fortunate enough to be walking behind the chaplain and his family who honored a fallen friend of theirs at The Wall...
The Wall showing the many who were lost...
A beautiful pic of the Wash Monument...
Sue's memorial and Rolling Thunder were both days I'll never forget... just being able to honor those we've lost meant the world to me!
I love you guys ~~ bannanny
