I had the oddest feeling to call Sid just awhile ago, and there was no answer. I know she's a very busy gal, and has a big family and house to take care of. So I waited awhile, and then tried her back again, and SID IS IN THE HOSPITAL RIGHT NOWI just found out. She had apparently an emergency surgery and was taken by ambulance early this morning. Her gall bladder? I don't know anymore, but I'll learn more when she or a family member calls me. Sid, I hope you don't mind me putting this on the board, but I am because WE ALL NEED to send you our prayers, for strong energy to healing, and recovery and safety, and our strengthening care from our hearts. Love you, and we're praying.

Oh my! I hope you're right in thinking it's her gallbladder toni since that kind of thing can be resolved. Please let us know the minute you hear anything ok? I was wondering where she's been cuz I haven't seen her post anything. I just figured she was busy with all her grandkids and doing what she does with them so very well. Praying for you right now Sid....
love you big bunches ~~ bannanny

God of power and might, please be with Sidney as she is in Surgery. Let the medicine and treatment she receives bring her healing and relief. Guide the doctors, nurses, and all who care for Sidney, and heal her in body, mind, and spirit.
Amen.

I was under the impression there would be an update? I am furious I am out of the loop and lack any information. I call and no one will answer the damn phone. No updates, no nada. I am NOT happy.
Sidney,
I love you very much. You were my last thought before falling asleep and my first thought when I woke up.

We all are concerned and anxiously waiting to hear all went well and Sid is OK. I'm sure as soon as someone hears something it will be shared.

I just heard from Sid's family member this morn. Sid is GOING HOME TODAY!!! ;D She had her gall bladder removed endoscopically, and is doing GREAT! Frito, I'd emailed you yesterday to let you know what I knew, which wasn't much details, but what had happened.

I also spoke with a family memeber this morning,....finally. They are thinking she will go home today, unless the ducks change their mind and want to keep her for another day of observation.
Her family is quite relieved that it was taken out, as come to find out, she had been having problems with it previous.
Toni,
Yes, it was the details I was missing and what made me so furious. But I do appreciate you trying to contact me and letting me know. I hadn't been on the board and if you hadn't of contacted me, I never would have known. I have taken care of any future events should they happen.
Ya know Toni, you mentioned that funny feeling. I had one too, which is why I was trying to contact her so vigilantly yesterday. But what is even weirder is that the day before all this mess, I started having right sided pain as well.
Anywho, hopefully we can each talk with her soon, and I do look forward to hearing from Sid.
Sid,
I love you very much.
Frito

Frito, yes, that feeling. That's why I'd called Sid "back to back" practically with my phone calls. Which I'd never do that unless it was an emergency. Because I know she could be napping, or anything, and I'd sure not want to wake her (for just chit chat). But something "made" me call her the second time...and that's when "a family member answered and told me she was in the hospital". Had I not called back that second time, I might not have known either ...till later I guess. Yeah...it's strange how you too got "the feeling", and there's no explanations of why, but it IS real.

JJ, Very cute. I chuckled at that one and it did help relieve some stress. Toni, I did finally get ahold of Sid, she sounds more upbeat, but the pain from the incisions is apparent. Thank you again for getting ahold of me again. I do appreciate it. Funny, I was calling her back to back as well. It sure is real. Frito

So glad you are better, Sidney. I know you must be or they would not have let you out of the hospital. They say you can't have beer and fattening foods after the gall bladder surgery. Likely things will improve though. I would imagine it was very painful if you actually went in to have something done about it. Best, 22122

[glow=red,2,300]Great news[/glow] Sid's home now! Which is the best sign after a surgery. Now she just needs to recover, and now that part will be just like brand new again...without that gallbladder that was giving her such problems. She's going to take it slow and easy because of the incisions, and and get some rest now. She said she thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers, and she sure appreciates you all, and she'll post when she's feeling up to it.
