Stomectol (the people Ivermectin) comes in a few different mgs.
Stromectol is (from all I know) is based on an individuals weight for the amount of mgs to be given daily.
I took 5 Stromectol pills a day (they were 3 mgs) each. Total of 15 mgs a day for 6 months straight (never missing a day).
Did it help? Yes. But by the third day after I stopped taking them 6 months later...(as I wanted to see if they RID me of the breakouts) since the itchies stopped the entire time I was on the Stromectol/Ivermectin - I then saw that NOTHING had changed.
All those pills *150* a month for 6 months did NOTHING.
Only worked "while I took them".
That is when I began "experimenting with them". I found that taking them in the beginning of each month (and only taking 3 pills a day) 3mgs each for 3 consecutive days, and then stopping them....and then again resuming taking another 3 a day for 3 consecutive days again in the middle of each month, I GOT the same exact "relief" from lesions and itching as I did as when I took 5 a day for 6 months without ever missing a day.
So...hope that helps.
So, it *might* be advantageous for you to "just try 3 a day of the 3 mg pills" for 3 days in a row at the beginning of each month, and then stop.
Then resume again taking 3 pills a day again for 3 days in the middle of the month, then stop till the beginning of the next month, and try it again. If that helps, two great things happen.
No more breakouts or itchies, and that's a fairly low dose too. It's only taking 18 (3mg pills) per month total, VS the 150 pills of Stromectol I did (and found the same relief with the lower dose).

Hey ole buddy Moe, glad to hear your voice(words) Dr. Matthews prescribed me the abendozole and it was 200 mg once a day for six months. It really helped me a lot. Fact, he really helped me a lot. HE also prescribed me the Ivermectin. I took eight of the tiny tablets and it helped me too. Gave me a ton more energy. Unfortunately he left his practice and I had to find another doctor. Now he is back and you could give him a call. He is not cheap but a ton less expensive than some of these other so called doctors who care but charge a fortune. Their day will come. Glad to see you back. Take care and feel better. ChicagoBonnie

I've been taking the liquid iver. 6cc. I do it about 4-5 days around the 1st, & the middle of the month. When it first became popular, I was taking 10 cc., as told to do by others. I thought this was too much, as it made me a little goofier. The first of this month, it did wonders, & I had thoughts I might be getting well. LOL. By the way, I do drink it. I think it's great in clearing out your system of old rubbish that shouldn't be there.

OK .. doc gave me a script for Stomectol (the people Ivermectin) per Toni's post . In case my insurance wont cover it . he did the conversion for the liquid and told me to take 1.5 cc's per day ( over that is dangerous and it wont keep in your system long enough if I skip days . He made a 3 month follow up apt , and kept me on the Tetracycline we shall see thanks Toni
NOTE I CANT TAKE THE LIQUID ON TOP OF THE PILLS ,, ONLY IF I CANT GET THE SCRIPT FILLED I TAKE 1.5CC'S A DAY LIQUID instead of PILLS

That's great to know Moe, and thanks for posting what he said too.
(I know the pills Stromectol are incredibly expensive) unless you have insurance. They run just a bit over 800.00 a month! Isn't that pitiful...like they're made of gold and diamond.
Now, that was the script for each month, that I'd taken for 6 months, but I had insurance, so I just had the 60.00 co'pay each month. Cause 800 a month ontop of all the other meds is hard to do, major cramp actually.
Mr Toni had been at the pharm (CVS) and was picking up his meds, and asked them if he could get my stromectol while he was there, and they said (if we wait) till the 30 days is up, then the insurance will pay everything but the copay.
Since the insurance will pay for these every 30 days, but not sooner. Except the copay of course.
But IF he wanted them then (while he was there) which was 3 days before the 30 days was up, then for just one month's worth, they were 805.00. He told them he'd be back in 3 days! hahaha He just wanted to get them - while he was standing right there, but...for that amount, he could drive back to the pharm in a few days.
Moe, because you don't have a doc appt for 3 months as per your post, and I want to share with all things I learned from being under "supervision" with Stromectol, ((( I had to have my liver enzymes tested every month))) because these "chems" can ruin your liver.
So, "a tip"...if you cannot get that done monthly to make sure you're liver enzymes are perfectly intact after taking this med, please (take Milk Thistle at least 2 a day) and Versicolor Coriolus, they will protect your liver. Not that there's any guarantee, but, I sure can tell you with ALL the meds I took for 9 straight months, (antibiotics, antifungals, antiparsiticals) and heavy duty stuff too, my liver enzymes were absolutely perfect every single month by the blood test results. And I do attribute that to the milk thistle and the Versicolor Coriolus that G.S. told me was so important to take. So regardless of nothing to date getting rid of Morgs, I will say, that just those two herbs (that we will forever take) was worth everything to us for the "life and protection of our organ/liver" anyways.
I take these things "now"...even though I'm not taking meds JUST because of everything I'd read about them, and Mr Toni's internist ADMITTED that these ARE excellent herbs to protect the battery of meds/chems etc we give our livers to process every time we even take anything, or heck, just having Morgs for all I know, could be hard on the liver too, if we have some kind of chemical contamination.
The name of the game is (no matter what we take or do) to try and combat or relieve our symptoms of Morgs, we must *make sure we daily take the precautions and care to protect ourselves*. Cause we sure don't want to relieve one problem, and create another.
Good luck.
PS, and I'm definately not trying to say what anyone should or shouldn't do, just learned knowledge from paying a lot of money to learn it. So I WANT to only share what I learned.

My insurance paid for the Stromectol 3 mg tabs X5 per day .. oh I hope this doesn't kill my liver . I take milk thistle . I am so blessed to have this doc .. Ive been his PT for 4 years now .. and Lately when I go .. I say aren't you happy to see your lab rat again?" LOL
I now have a dog her name is Penny ( she is a MIN PIN) I haven't felt contagious for a few years but I still break out .. Ill keep y'all posted and please keep me in your prayers and my doc too. When I saw him this time he had two sores on his hands and I about freaked but I quietly said (giggling a bit )"your hands look like mine did when I first got Morgellons ."
He didn't think that mattered ,but he now knows how to treat it before it gets to the itchy biting crawly stage , He has gained a lot of pounds too , I'm very concerned cause in South Carolina He is the only one that knows and has seen this in 3 people including me . One Pt Died with Morgellons .. i think she killed herself I hope not but many morgies yelled DON'T TAKE ANTIBIOTICS to her and she never felt any relief

Normally, you body would reject alien materials, but having an extra gene solves that. The 47th man-made artificial gene can accommodate alien materials without stimulating an immune reaction that would expel them. he will see how Morgellons is accepted by the body and just continues operation as usual as the hydrogels, optical and invertebrates do their thing. Please try to get your doctor to do a DNA test. It will show there are restrictions enzymes used and there is an extra chromosome that does not interefere with other DNA. Its just there holding alien DNA. I would be glad to talk to your doctor if that helps. IMO our bodies do show an immune reaction thus the skin reactions and other symptoms. No acceptance. I was told by my Lyme/Morg docs, that those people who have open lesions are those with the weakest immune system. Internal detoxification and immune boosting is here necassary. Considering that 'only' a few % of the population is showing evident signs of this disease although it's widely spread I believe dysfunctional Telomerase through inheritance could be key here. Getting the doctors to do an expensive DNA test is IMO almost imposssible if you think about that not even simple standard blood tests are done and most of us are not taken seriously and labeled DOP. Another aspect is that most Health Insurances won't cover this, if you have one. And those who don't, can't afford to pay for it themselves. MD isn't even officially recognized by the medical community at this point yet and if simple treatment and ordinary blood tests are even denied and then asking for a DNA test, your work in honor, but asking for this is IMO unrealistic.
