I want to know if Biltricide helped anyone with symptoms or if it was not helpful. I realize that this is not medical advice. It would really help me to know your experiences, and the effect it has on Morgellons

I tried it for awhile too - I give it a 0 on a 1-10 scale. Now of course that's only my experience with it. It did nothing for me. Changed nothing.
I found that of all the meds I'd taken (if I had to rate 2 of them in order) it would be:
Ivermectin and Bactrim DS.
Now, these meds "ime" that ime means in my experience, taking these meds every single day was not necessary either.

I am also taking Bactrim DS and Biaxin. Can't fill the biltricide yet and am more inclined to try zimectrin if my doc agrees

ibzahp & toni have either of you tried avalox? It's really nasty broad spectrum antibiotic but I no longer get that horrible slime like glue between my lips and teeth. Can't say it helped other than that though. morghunter.

Morghunter, Hi, I've never tried Avalox, but it's in the fluoroquinolone family, and I've taken Levaquin (same family). I do well on that, but only if it's taken 10 days in a row 2 - 3X per year. And yes, 39 ...how did you know hehehe (and thank you)

biltricide was the treatment from dr. omar amin.
i've done several treatments with no effect relative to morgellons. i've done so many antibiotics...... yet not biaxin although my daughter did it 1 1/2 yr. for lyme.
she does have the holes in clothes and other m symptoms but not the lesions i have. she refuses to talk about it.
maybe the biaxin actually kept the lesions away? she also has more of her dads heredity, so maybe she has a better immune than me. my mom died at 33 of lupus in 1966.
the most complaints she had when taking it was a metal taste in her mouth.
the 'best' med i've used is rifampin and it was not lasting.

i've done invermectin from the feed store periodically for a year or better before i found a doc to give me meds. i didn't request stromectol as the ivermectin didn't work for me at all.
as we all have different molds so far........... i image some could have 'worms' i am not one of them. i've never had worms except pin worms as a kid.

ibzahp, I've tried biltricide as part of a three month antihelminthic, antibiotic and antifungal program I was on several years ago through Dr. Matthews. I didn't notice any improvement from the Biltricide. Like Ruth, I've had fairly good results with rifampin but combined with bactrim ds. I was on this combo for 10 days periods when I presented with what looked to my docs as mrsa. It helped heal the few really bad lesions.
