Hi everyone. I am looking for a place to live w/other Morgies if possible. I have myself and my small dog Barkly. I need to leave where i am now living and I would feel more emotionally supported living with people with Morgs or Lyme or otherwise dealing with an illness or just Morg friendly.I am willing to move a fair distance from where i am now. I am on disability and I have a small part-time job I do from home. I am more partial to the west than the east. I currently am living in Olympia, WA. Please PM me if you are aware of a possible to live. I am 49, no spring chicken and I love animals. Like I said I really would consider anywhere where the rent is reasonable and where housemates are freindly and fun. I enjoy hearing music and making art. I just really feel the need to be around other kindred spirits. Please PM me if youknow of a possibility

Hi Inez, I hope you find someone that needs help, it's coming to this in America, I'm seeing where people are having to double up, etc.

please people let me know if there is a morgie or lyme household or place to live for me. I am on disability and have a part time job i do from home (from anywhere). I have a small dog and am 49, very laid back and kind. I am in my 11th year w/this stuff. I am looking for a friendly environment, don't want to give in to isolation. Prefer west over east

Have you tried posting on the Olympia Food Co-op board outside? Its on Pacific. Also the one close to the Evergreen campus. I recommend the first one for getting to know people too. I would post something there. People are open about things there and of a better mind. I used to shop there when I lived in the area. Even stocking shelves there would put you in touch with people. They hire and train you to do cash registers for as long or as short as you want to work too. I thought about that when I lived near there but was mostly flat on my back with fatigue and depression. Hope this helps. 22122

If you can't find some one to share housing with and need affordable housing give me a call. I can help you get on a waitlist here in Portland Oregon where your rent will be federally subsidized. It may take a couple years but at least you'll be able to find a place you can survive. Then you can become involved in community activities, volunteer, feed the hungry and homeless...there is so much people can do to help their community.
Send me a PM if you're interested in finding out more. I'll need your address to send you a waitlist packet.
You'll also have to fill out a Reasonable Accommodation for your dog, but we can do that later...
Good luck, it can be tough out there!!!

Oh if only I had more room. I would take you in. My husband would think I was crazy, but I would. Over at Birdmites web site we have a hand full that live in CA. Might go make friends there and then pose the question.
