Hi guys. I've been meaning to apologize for my last thread. I never got finished, and I just disappeared. Please forgive me. Too many things started happening. I got another grand baby ;D, went to St. Martin, & and just got progressively sicker. Just want to say I appreciated all who wrote me such good advice, and I was so thankful to all of you.
Weeks before I went to St. Martin, I started getting leg cramps often. These were miserable, and lasted a long time. Then my right leg only, got to where I couldn't bend it. If I did, it would cause a hideous pain that could last up to 20 minutes. I now get the cramps in my left leg, but I can bend it. It's just the right leg I hesitate to bend. It's gotten better, but is in pain 24/7. The pain is so strange, it's making me a little freaky. It's like a hurtful squeezing pain, & it goes up to my hip.
I had an accident in Ireland where the hotel I stayed at had a shower/bath that was 4 feet tall. When I got out, Ii slipped on the marble floor, as I am only 5 feet tall. I landed on my right hip, and hit my head on the toilet. That was fun. It really didn't bother me too much, although I think I did go to therapy for awhile. I think the morgs like that hip.
I don't know if that's related or not. Ii don't think the pain would be that high on my leg though were it not for that injury. My narco episodes are constant. They usually get me when I'm at the computer, or right at dinner time. When I'm feeling better, they don't bother me that much.
In all, the leg pain, the cramps, the narcolepsy, has lasted at least 2 months, so I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this? Probably minus the narcolepsy. ha ha. I think I'm the only one with that. I've been sleeping till 3:30, so my life has totally been disrupted, and all the things I need to do are just piling up again. I want the leg pain to go away. Does anyone know how I can attack it. I think it's morg overload.
I hope I explained this OK. It's hard to explain. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Big hugs, freaky

Freaky,
I get the leg, foot, arm, hand cramps. What I take that is Magnesium Oxide 400 mg. Cramps are gone in minutes after taking 1 tablet.
It is sold OTC at any drug store.
Good luck.

I'm so sorry to hear your in such pain ,i dont think their is any part in out bodies that morgies hasn't infiltrated. I get sharp pains in my legs, wake me up, make me jump out of bed....omg.
I've just started on MMS, have you tried this ? I see that we can buy antibiotics ,anti fungal anti bacteria online and anti parasitic, tho expensive. I imagine you;ve taken all of these. Do you take Epsom salt baths... well i hope and pray your feeling better real soon Hun...

Thanks Jill. I have been taking mag, & I just went to take some more. Maybe I was only taking one before, & that would have been 250 mg. of the same mag. you recommended. I have no recall. Nevertheless, I read the directions, & it says to take two. hum. OK, I'll try two everyday, & see if I get well. Thanks again, love freaky

Thanks for your reply sheredelight. That was funny what you said about getting out of bed because yesterday I started to get a muscle cramp in my foot, & I just threw one leg over the other somehow, & jumped out of bed. Then I was up for the morning.
Yes, I take salt baths, & oxy/salt/vinegar baths. I wish it helped. All the years I've been sick though, & taking these baths, I can't say it hasn't helped a lot. Things can always be worse.
Wonder if I got confused, as I have MSM, but not MMS. I'll get some. I'll do just about anything right now. I have gotten lots of things on the computer. I had found one great anti-parasite capsule, but it took so long for me to reorder it, I don't know what it was called anymore.
Thanks again, love, freaky

I wish I could tell you how to make it all go away... but I don't have any answers. Just try to stay well rested, take your vitamins and minerals, and drink alot of water. Dear Freaky, I don't think it would hurt to take a larger dose of magnesium if you are totally deficient in it. I got a mineral supplement and take as many as 4-6 a day if I have cramps. These rascally morgie meanies use up all our calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. Potassium, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, zinc can be used up daily, especially potassium can be drained on a daily basis. I'm not a medical person but for cramps -- its the minerals you're missing. You would think a blood test would expose a mineral deficiency.
Love you Freaky

Stay well rested. haha You silly girl. I really wish I needed some sleep. Thanks Girlfriend, I love you, freakydeaky Actually, I forgot to bring something up. As many people told me, morgs don't like the sun, no one said how mad they got. At my visit to St Martin, maybe I got too much sun. The morgs seemed to want to sun as well, and seemed to rise to the surface of my skin. I had a real large one, about 3 " on the inside of my knee. I didn't want to mention this because it sounded so goofy, but maybe it has something to do with the pain, or it's just a crazy theory. I thought maybe morgs don't like to bend, as when I bent my knee, I'd have a dose of pain. They are no longer visable like they were at St. Martin. Because the sun is sort of freaking me out now. I haven't gone out in the sun since. I was wondering if maybe the morgs calmed down and went back under, deeper in my body. Is this possible?

I dunno. If I did not have narcolepsy before hitting the head, I would see a doc. That is just me so it may not appeal to you maybe. Hope you feel better soon and wishing you well. 22122

Hi 22122again! I'm glad you came back. I'd have sworn I saw you last night, & then you disappeared. I looked all over for you. Maybe it was just my imagination, and I've just been thinking of you. Hope all is OK, or getting better. Best wishes to you. Answering your question, did I have narcolepsy before, or after I hit my head on the toilet, no, I had it a long time before. Otherwise I would have taken your advice, and seen a dr. Thanks for your reply. Hugs, freaky

Dear Freaky, I was looking a medical sensors this morning and there is one that measure oxygen in the blood called a pulse oximeter. My doctor just used one on me and everything was fine. A pulse oximeter measures the oxygen in your blood by reading the color of your blood through a light sensor. the hemoglobin in your blood cells turns bright red when it is full of oxygen. It turns darker red or purple when the oxygen is gone. A light flashes in the clip and shines a light through the tip of your finger. the clip has a wire that connects it to a meter that give the reading.
How will I feel if my oxygen is too low? You may not feel any different. That is why you may need a pulse oximeter reading or ABGs to know your level. Some symptoms you may notice include: • Feeling very tired • Being short of breath • Having trouble thinking or concentrating • Feeling drowsy • Being irritable • Having a blue or gray tint to your skin, nails or lips If you have these symptoms, let your doctor know. You may need to use oxygen therapy or change the amount of oxygen you are using.
What made me think of you was the drowsiness and fatique. A doctor should do this routinely like taking your weight, height, blood pressure and temperature.
What makes me so curious is that people go to doctors and don't get the medical treament they need. People with parasites don't realize that the parasites are just that, they take your nutrients and oxygen for their own needs. Is money an obstacle to getting treatment from a parasitologist, anyone?
We need a resident parasitologist for us morgies. How to find one, that is the question.
Skizit

Hi freaky, Yes, I did have something up but took it down because it was maybe too long and you might ignore it if I wrote too much. Honestly. Don't know if you read it all. It was long about my own experience and what worked for me kind of thing. If you did not read it at all, I will cover the hip topic. Otherwise, sorry about the narcoplepsy. Maybe Lyme? just a thought here. Trying to be brief. 22122

REVISED
22122again, you silly guy. Why would you feel like I wouldn't read everything you wrote to me? Whatever you have to share is just as important to me as anyone's. I'd read anything you wrote here. Just keep writing till you get finished with what you have to say. You shouldn't worry about being brief. I'm interested in anything you have to say, even about the hip. I did read it, & I read it all. It didn't seem to be that long to me. Everyone who posted here had some good advise for me. What you wrote was no less important than what anyone else had to say, & you gave some good advice. I'm sorry you felt this way, but it's just not true, or how I feel about you. What you experience and how you handle the problems you've had yourself is the best information you can get. Please give it another shot if you feel like it. I know you guys sometimes are so sensitive though. Please know I really appreciate you, & I'm interested in anything you have to say. Now I'm really embarrassed I rambled on so long. I don't know how to delete, or be brief. SORRY.
hugs, freaky

Skizit, I'm not sure that test would work on me, or be of any value since I have fibromyalgia. FMS people have such low oxygen levels, they can go to the Alps, and feel normal, whereas the normal people are all gasping for air. That was real thoughty of you though, & I appreciate the idea. The criteria does fit, although I'm NOT BLUE OR GREY, I'M JUST MORGED OUT IN MY FACE, & I'M NOT THE LEAST BIT IRRITABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding. I did tell my doc last time that I had morgs in my lungs so she gave me some sort of oxygen test where I blew into something. The results for that were that I'd have emphysema in 10 years if I didn't quit smoking. I told her I might live 10 more years if I did. That was a little sarcastic. I'm having a ball. Thanks for your reply. Love ya, freaky

I had one of those breathing test done too freaky... back when they found the granulomas on my lungs. BUT... they couldn't believe I not only had granulomas come out of nowhere, but that I've been a smoker for 40 years. They said my breathing test was that of a child's it was so good. Go figure eh?
Feel better honey pie...

Maybe you were right Skizit, about the minerals. I took some this morning, and tonight I didn't have my narco attack. I can always tell when it's going to happen because my ears start banging first . It's a pressure thing. It was so great. This is the first night in months. Thanks, freaky

Thanks nanners. All we did was play in the ocean, & lie on our rafts, cause there weren't any waves which was kinda cool. Every now, and then I'd put my head down, & snort some salt water. You know I love my hub a lot. But, having been married for 33 years, give, or take a year, is different than being newly, freshly, in love with a man. That cures every-thing. That's the diff. Catch my drift?
Big hugs back, freaky
