Here's my kitten --Meet Teeortea her favorite food is liverworst and she enjoys torchering grasshoppers ;D Oh, Ant. She is an absolutely lovely kitty! Just beautiful. I am so glad you took the chance on having her as a pet. You won't be sorry, because as you've quickly found out, kitties can give so much love--and just to watch them sleeping gives such a sense of peace. They are such good company, too, and it's fun to see the antics they develop as they grow. My newest little white kitty--Cotton--has always had such a sense of humor, even as a tiny kitten. I don't know how an animal can have a sense of humor, but he really does. Makes me laugh a lot, and gives something so nice to love on and to care for. How did you come up with her name? It's really cute. And oh--please, please help those poor little grasshoppers. Poor things... :-) Keep us updated with pictures and news about your new little daughter, Teeortea! :-)

As much as I love cats I don't want a fully grown one. I want to start a fresh with a kitten. It's 7 months since our Sally cat died & we are really needing the company of a pet. I was so disappointed, we all were that they had no kittens. Well I lie, they had one kitten 4 months old, who sounded like he had troubles & we couldn't see him & he wasn't aloud outside. I said to the Adoption Officer I thought I'd be ok going in Spring as normally spring time is when they have kittens. She said well normally we do (looking up at the weather). So things have got a little messed up even in the animal world because of our weather. I will be calling the animal shelter weekly, can't wait

Hey Itchen The day when you do get a kitten and if you want to know about a natural way for flea and mite control I found the ticket on how. In Light Lynn Hi Lynn, I'd sure be interested to know. I know that the kitten will be immunized & will have already been given the flea & mite control when we buy her. However, will be good to know a natural way for the future. Thank you Love itchin

Hi Itchen Here you a link. www.wolfcreekranch.net/flea_free_food_supplement.html fleafreeanimals.com/page30.html This link is the story behind the product. Use this with a little diametious (sp) earth. Put a light sprinkle of diametious earth on the food and put the Flea Free in their water and you should be good to go. Cedarcide PCO for the lawn works great for killing the bad critters without harming the good ones. Also found out the Peppermint soap kills fleas with a mix of other oils. Like Rosemary. For environment not on pets. I do not think you can use peppermint on cats. In Light Lynn

You welcome Itchen We took in some stray kittens about five months ago. They live in the garage. They are so sweet and good mousers. They want to be indoor kitty's and lap kitty's. I would love that, but will not let them in till I get rid of the rest of what is still hanging on of this disease. I am using the Flea Free on the cats for almost a month. I am doing to them what I do to myself. Start out with a very tiny amount and slowly build it up in their water dish. I figure that way they will not turn their nose up at the water dish if snuck in on them that way. Same with the diametious earth. Start out with a very tiny amount and work up to the required dosage. To much Diametious earth can make you constipated so if the cat poo looks to hard and dry you may need some sort of oil sprinkled in their food. Not sure whats allowed for cats. Maybe a little olive oil? Wolf Creek is a good site to find out whats what on issues like this. Another favorite spot for animal treatment is www.shirleyswellnesscafe.com Ten years ago when I first go my first computer and had indoor kitty's. Her web site was great for animals and humans. lol. Good luck finding a kitten. So funny I had bought soft carriers to take them to the vet to get fixed last week and the guys who are big time cat lovers were gripping that I had bought a pink one and a black one. Both cats are males. I got ribbed so much that I dared them to leave the bags open and made a bet the cats wanted the pink one. Yep you go it. Both cats preferred to lay down in the pink one. Oh what fun that was to rib them back. In Light Lynn

Hi Lynn, My cats have always been indoor & outdoor cats. When we get the new Kitten I want it that way too. The info. you've given me is helpful, as I wouldn't have thought of any of that...duh. I've never worried about catching something from a pet, maybe a comfortable denial, but then I think people can carry worse than pets! (IMO) Your cats have great taste in color! what a cute story. Love itchin
