It's been nearly a year since I got M. I estimate I've tried about 20 different pills, potions, and creams. The only thing I know has worked is the epson salt baths I take twice a day.
I literally feel the crud leaving my skin in a very salty bath. Sometimes I add a capful of borax or bleach, though I'm really not sure if these help. The salts are the medicine. Water temperature doesn't seem to matter.
On strong M days, leaving the bath I am so drained I must take a 20 minute nap. I sometimes have to brace myself so I don't fall over when I first get out. Depending on the severity of the M that day, my ears will buzz for 5-10 minutes afterwards. . But don't be mistaken, I feel 1000% cleaner and healthier after these baths.
Despite having full blown M for a couple weeks with heinous symptoms, followed by 10 months of consistently shedding all types of matter, my skin is fine. When I get small sores they heal quickly. I attribute this to my salt baths. I'm getting the nasties out of my skin before they do too much damage.
Has anyone tried taking salts internally as treatment? Does anyone have any insight as to why these baths are working so well or why I get extreme fatigue/ ear buzzing/ lightheaded when I get out of these baths?
Hi Threader,
At the end of your post you'd asked if anyone had tried
salt internally. And yes, I have. I took the salt tablets
a few years back (just have to make sure you drink
gallons of water every day) or other problems will occur,
and the salt seemed to just keep things at a simmer, like
many herbs etc do, but - the salt tablets didn't change
anything for me at all.
I guess I concentrate more on "how to keep the immune
strong" type protocols, because nothing else I've tried
made any difference. I'm just sort of going on the basis
of tackling each thing as it crops up, making sure my
system can keep alkalined as much as I'm able to, and
found by keeping the "body system cleaned out" with
eating things that promote "going to the bathroom
regularly" is extremely important too.
B's, C's, D's, clove, cinnamon, garlic, Echinacea with
Goldenseal, eating lots of immune strengthening
supplements and fresh fruits and veggies help so much too.
And ohhh there's many more.
I take several hot hot showers a day, to where I've set
off the smoke alarm in the hallway
but something I've
noticed which may or may not have to do with you feeling
lightheaded after your baths is, ((( it seems))) and I say
"seems" because I don't know, but...it seems that things
that induce sweating or drawing this stuff out of our skin
does cause a reaction, even though we're not able to get
it all out, the warm or hot water does help to a large
degree.
(IF) this is critters, they don't like hot anything. If this is
part bacteria or fungi which could be of course a big part
of this too, heat draws things out of the skin. So it's all
very helpful. And in doing so, that "might" be the reason
you and me too, feeling sort of lightheaded after a
"bathing session". I don't know if everyone feels this, but
I know I sure do and when you mentioned it, I sure could
relate.
