I should be enraged by the results of this "study". However, I expected no real science from the CDC.
Let's see...hordes of "peasants" with microscopes can easily see and record that the fibers are coming from INSIDE the body..yet the "learned government "scientists" conclude that those suffering are mentally unbalanced drug abusers, the lesions are self inflicted..and the fibers are from their cotton clothing. [case closed]
Thus ends any last flickering hope that there is any honesty remaining in the Halls of Gov't Science. I didn't really expect to find any...so there is no Rage to be found within me...mostly just a Great Disappointment.
One wonders if the fibers expressing themselves mostly as cellulose ["cotton fibers"] is merely a stroke of luck for those in gov't charged with maintaining the cover up..or was it all part of "The Plan". The "learned ones" can track the progress of the "plague" that they set off, and use the very evidence of infection that is presented as a tool to discredit those afflicted? It all seems a bit too convenient to be mere coincidence.
So, the "labrats" are expendable. Nothing new there. If this affliction has been deliberately released into the "wild"..those responsible must be protected at all costs. If this "fiber disease" is an "unanticipated result" of GMO or some other careless use of newfound technical skills, the MegaCorps responsible will be protected from potentially devastating lawsuits at all costs. The purpose of Gov't is to protect the MegaCorps/Transnationals..not "the little people.".
Nothing has changed with this latest "study report". The people damaged by negligence or evil intent are on their own. There will be no "scientific cavalry" riding over the hill to rescue those in peril. The "morgellon's folk" were abandoned to their fate long ago. All the chatter from the Gov't about "studies" were nothing more than self serving "window dressing" to maintain a lie. The pitiful funding level for such a large study is a dead givaway that the study was a fraud. $600,000 over several years would pay for a handful of lab techs at best, certainly not the required lab testing, much less a highly skilled scientist or two. It would be about the amout required to engage in "papershuffling" for a few years. This is such transparent fraud; but hey, it's a Gov't agency..no news there either.

it surely does not Homeland, many of the Major Morgellons Disease Players are not giving up & will continue the Fight!. >>>Statement from lyndaincanada on Mundane's site>>>>>>>>>>>Hello my friends — I believe this release is good news! As Dr. Amin has suggested about the CDC study, the CDC had a specific focus that has now been investigated. They had to finish the study they started with the particular focus they had. After one try, it is ridiculous to give up there! I’m not giving up, Mr CS isn’t giving up and neither are you! Nowhere in the report does it conclusively state that the symptoms are DOP. In fact the pictures, according to the report, are suggestive of other skin conditions: Prurigo nodularis, lichen simplex chronicas, stenotrophomonas maltophilia, stapylococcus pyogene and aureus! This looks like validation that people are indeed suffering from something — and any validation — is good! Don’t you dare look at this as a “half empty” situation – for it is not! It is more than half-full! We are well on our way to figuring this out…people are listening and are taking our health seriously. We must be credible and not succumb to negativity…ever! I would like to make a serious suggestion though: I have decided that I will no longer call this affliction “Morgellons” — it is not Morgellons! That term was used as a starting point to narrow the investigation of the affliction — but truthfully, we need to drop it, if what we want is credibility. Dr. Amin has identified a condition, that moreso resmbles my symptoms, much better that the original definition of Morgellons does. I don’t care what you call it — just consider not ever calling it “M” again. The term is tainted now with negative connotation — use a more specific medical term, and I am willing to bet we will see the credibility that this affliction truly deserves and requires. I am choosing to call it “Hyper-toxicity” as so many “M” sufferers are referring to it as. Look up the original definition and you will agree – we don’t have “morgellons” – but we have/did have something worth continuing to investigate. Thank-you CDC for investigating our affliction – please don’t stop there. We are counting on you. Just because we don’t have answers yet, doesn’t mean there aren’t answers out there. Has the Cancer Society given up bc they don’t know what cancer is? God bless…

--------------------- Yeah, this is not a healthy forum to hang out in or try to have fun at - I know I don't focus on this stuff for more than 15 minutes a day. The fun part...well many times here on LB we've all had a great laugh. Hahahaha!!! 15 minutes a day, sorry you cracked me. Yes, I agree somewhat with the law of attracction - you get into your life, whatever you focus on, or put mental energy into. Therefore, if one focuses on Morgellons 10 hours a day, then one gets more Morgellons into ones life, theoretically. So I limit my reading about Morgellons to 15 minutes a day, even though it is fascinating. Focus is best put on what one wants, not on what one does not want out of ones life. QED

6 years ago a fellow morgellons suffer told me this was a water filtering experiment gone bad ( the fibers are the filter ) I shruged that off for a month or two. while doing my own investigating and then saw some TV ads for that water filtering crap that now comes in a ketchup type package .... THE CDC and PROCTOR and GAMBLE were in bed inventing this .... .. In randomized, controlled trials conducted by the CDC involving a total of 25,000 people in three countries — Guatemala, Pakistan and Kenya — the chemical packets reduced the incidence of diarrhea by about 50 percent, All good says. The packets also were tested by researchers from Johns Hopkins University at a refugee camp in Liberia, where they produced more than a 90 percent reduction in diarrhea, the scientist says. Called “PUR Purifier of Water,” the system consists of a packet containing a grayish powder composed of a variety of chemicals that collectively are capable of removing contaminates within minutes of being added to water www.physorg.com/news62853860.htmlMY Theory is that the 3 states CALIF, TX, and FL have one thing in common ( NATURAL DISASTERS ) what do people need after a natural disaster ? ( WATER) I think while in the testing stage .. bottle of eater were taken FREE to these states after a hurricane , fire, or whatever . The water had been filtered using this stuff but the fibers weren't out of the water yet during these test stages and they did in the human body whet they were crated to do .. attract Bacteria, fungus , parasites ... what was unknown at that time is these fibers could not be eradicated and left in the body attracting all sorts of pollution's , would multiply, become air born , then contagious .... PUR water now has this on the global; market in its complete stage no longer harmful we hope . But this explains why the CDC has been so Hard regarding a study on this , they would have to come clean .... and atmit Thye caused this .. study yourself This has been my vew for a few years now and nothing better has come down Moe

Hi Morg1
How I wish this was were it came from. It would be nice to know that to avoid their bottled water and filter systems was the answer, but there are too many that have had this way before water filter systems. I can think of three right off that have had this for 28 years or more.
It might fall more in line with the GMO foods where it started and shipped too. I was just talking to my BF about the bee parasite and viral connection and was taken full circle back to the GMO foods for all of the conditions we are running into from the tiniest of episodes to the full blown ones with the bees, dolphins, bats, and us.
Oh I hope one day we get to know while on this earth where it starts.

----A shabby study for all the years it took them and funny (NOT) that the CDC feels the need for a disclaimer!

I wonder why it's such a big secret. Neither CDC or Mayo clinic have the ability to see that something weird is going on here. I wonder how they choose their test group of patients. Maybe it really is merely incompetence - or they might just be milking the clock. it's no secret Aware. I got the same treatment for 5 & 1/2 years before being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with a total body collapse bed ridden for 7 Moths, these are what I call gray Illness or Disease because Doctor's haven't a clue so they write us off as Delusional, in the 50s & 70s people with the Disease MS went through the same thing it's nothing new for sure

Thank you for this link. It was awesome to hear some real answers for once. Would it be nice if the guy who use to work for the CDC invented a cured. I don't think they can though because it like nucular waste. There is no way to safely get rid of it. I do think we can cure Morgellons through natural means. The trick is finding the combo for each persons situation and taking it in right doses for the right length of time that keeps fowling us up. I believe that is why so many of us can not get well. Its too hard on our own to figure out the combo and strength and length of time to do anything to get well.
I am hoping Gordens product is the answer.
