Can't say that this comes as a surprise, but it is still sickening. The observation that patients were depressed??? Would they be depressed if this was happening to them? Western medicine as practiced in the 21st century. Doesn't get much scarier than this. I am so fed up that I can't even talk any more. Luckily I am in a place where most of my outward symptoms are controlled and I function pretty well, but I feel terrible for the folks who are still experiencing the onset and have no where to go within the medical community to get any sort of help. Guess these idiots never heard of Randy Wymore and the OSU study?

Yeah... that's what hurts my heart the most jh. These results will only destroy even more those who've already been labeled delusional by their own family members. I know some of you will feel that pain all over again... but please remember you will always have us and we will never stop fighting. So hold on, be strong, have faith and know how very much you ARE loved and respected for fighting this fight as you have. Wanted to let you guys read a comment I just made to their newly released report here... www.cdc.gov/unexplaineddermopathy/My comment follows... I knew in my heart... as well as many other morgellons sufferers have that your final report would be Godless, shameful, and so very disappointing. I tried to have faith in our governement... I tried to hope for an honest outcome of your study of Morgellons. But now I know how disgusting our governemnt has truly become. You hide the truths by hurting the hearts of those who suffer from your attacks on us via chemtrails, GMO foods and the like. I'm so very sickened by the greed, the lack of compassion, and as I said, the lack of truth. But it's my heart that's been numbed by what you've accomplished in destroying even more lives with this so-called study. You must truly be ashamed of yourselves... I know I'm ashamed of you all. You've just destroyed so many people who've been holding on by a thread waiting for the answers to stop their suffering. How could you... how could you be so very heartless? I will continue to hope one of you who must know the answer but are being held to secrecy over the cause of this nightmare to step up to the plate one day. Maybe you will the day you or one of your loved ones is hit by the Morgellons delusion... a delusion I might add that has been filmed by thousands of people around the world. How can that be? Because... morgellons is as far from being a delusion as you are from being truthful, compassionate, and strong. So very dissapointed in you all... but believe you me, our fight doesn't stop here. For all who suffer... my heart is with you today. www.plosone.org/annotation/listThread.action?inReplyTo=info:doi/10.1371/annotation/281703e8-e95d-4390-8709-a521c1c31103&root=info:doi/10.1371/annotation/281703e8-e95d-4390-8709-a521c1c31103

Hi Bannanny,
Ditto.
Plus, I take back EVERYTHING I've said and felt that had anything confident to do with our CDC.
The newspaper today here in Vegas (The Review Journal) said:
The study cost nearly $600,000.00.
It's long awaited results, released Wed, conclude that
Morgellons exists only in the patients' minds.
End of quote.

From the CDC website where Doctors will be getting their information to help treat us: "Future efforts should focus on helping patients reduce their symptoms through careful attention to treatment of co-existing medical, including psychiatric conditions, that might be contributing to their symptoms."www.cdc.gov/unexplaineddermopathy/This allows for the pharmaceutical companies to continue pushing their dangerous drugs to 'Treat Symptoms' but never give a cure.

Bananny I agree it is a kick to the gut-but there is no way that this study has provided us with any answers. I will keep searching.

Anybody else having trouble viewing the Fox news piece? I've made several attempts to do it and have had no success. Also have been told that my PC is suddenly running out of memory. Maybe just coincidental, but it does seem odd. Probably should leave it alone and not give myself something and someone else to want to give a good kicking to. However since this is in my backyard I thought I'd like to have a look at this individual. Guess it's just like the urge to poke at a sore tooth, probably won't help but we do it anyway.

Everybody just try to go on... there's not much we can do or say to make them see. But there are some articles and video's emerging now where they at least give some sufferers a voice... ...and this one which I love from Dr. Stricker, SF Doctor Cries Foul On CDC Report Suggesting Skin Disease Is Imaginary by Bay City News
January 26, 2012 10:14 PM The causes of a skin disease that has reportedly afflicted many Bay Area residents over the last decade may be more mind than matter, according to a new report by the Center for Disease Control.
The report, published Wednesday, revealed the findings of a two-year study of Northern California sufferers of morgellons, a little-understood affliction characterized by itchy, slow-healing lesions.
Sufferers of the mysterious disease say that the symptoms usually begin with a sensation of itchy, crawling skin, often compared to insects.
Skin rashes and sores follow, along with fibers, threads, cysts or other protrusions emerging from the affected areas.
Symptoms can also include severe fatigue, inability to concentrate, joint pain, vision changes and behavioral problems.
According to the Mayo Clinic, morgellons has been reported in every state in the United States, and in 15 countries worldwide, but most cases are clustered in California, Florida and Texas.
Sufferers even include singer Joni Mitchell and former Oakland A's relief pitcher Billy Koch, according to media reports.
But after studying the disease, the Center for Disease Control is unconvinced the collection of symptoms is a unified physical ailment, and may be caused by psychological problems.
Dr. Raphael Stricker, a San Francisco physician who treats patients with morgellons, disagreed that the condition is psychological.
"The bottom line of the study is--we don't know what (morgellons) is," Stricker said, which has led some to assume that it is a delusional disease.
"It's definitely not delusional," Stricker said.
CDC researchers coordinated with Kaiser Permanente to identify patients who may be suffering from morgellons, and found patients who "self-reported emergence of fibers or materials from the skin accompanied by skin lesions and/or disturbing skin sensations."
They found 115 patients who reported the symptoms between 2006 and 2008, all in 13 Northern California counties and mostly in the Bay Area.
After initial interviews, researchers gave the patients a wide variety of tests, including taking skin, blood and urine samples, taking samples of fibers protruding from the skin when available, and psychological testing.
But the broad range of reported symptoms could not be explained by a single infectious cause, according to the report. Lesions present on those suffering from the disease could be related to irritation from exposure to particular solvents, or even simply caused by rubbing irritated skin.
Furthermore, the fibers, hairs, and other protrusions often appeared to be from cotton, nylon or other fabrics that may have come from clothes sticking to lesions or scabs, based on samples taken from 12 patients in the study.
Researchers said the study represents the first population-based and most comprehensive exploration of the unexplained phenomenon of morgellons, but could draw few conclusions based on the information gathered.
The researchers did recommend that people suffering from morgellons seek treatment for the symptoms experienced as part of the disease, including fatigue, anxiety and depression, and any other physical or psychological afflictions they may be suffering.
Stricker said he and veterinary microbiologist Marianne Middelveen are studying similarities between morgellons and bovine digital dermatitis, or hairy heel warts, a veterinary disease that affects cattle.
According to a report they released in November, the similarities between the two diseases provides evidence that morgellons is an infectious illness.
"The people who say it's delusional are going to look very, very stupid when the evidence comes out," he said.
Scott Morris, Bay City Newssfappeal.com/news/2012/01/sf-doctor-cries-foul-on-cdc-report-suggesting-skin-disease-is-imaginary.phpSo even tho I myself am just too disgusted to discuss this anymore, I'll continue to fight the fight in whatever ways I can. But for now, I'm still gonna have to take a break from it all. I simply don't want the stress of it to consume me once again. I love you guys very much, and I'll see you soon. big huge hugs ~~ bannanny

That is good new from Dr. Stricker --- too bad it has only been picked up by the news ( at this time) to be published on an 'online' news place ONLY and it doesn't look like the major new stations and major newpapers will pick up this story about how wonderful Dr. Stricker is to stand up for morgellons and the fact that we all know it is real. Major news stations are going to be keeping with the ELECTION until the end of the year and it will be difficult to get anything else newsworthy put on the news during this election year. ----- Something I believe the CDC PLANNED purposely along with the MAYO news releases that were completely ridiculous last year getting everyone 'conditioned' to believe the CDC's sloppy report. The cdc should be ashamed of themselves. They used words that were not even 'definate' meaning they are not wanting the truth out there. Careless words/phrases used by CDC: Lesions present on those suffering from the disease COULD BE related to irritation ---(not scientific) the fibers, hairs, and other protrusions often APPEARED to be from cotton, nylon or other fabrics that MAY HAVE come from clothes sticking to lesions or scabs,--- (not really a defined conclusion at all) VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CDC long awaited thorough SCIENTIFIC REPORT that is just plain sloppy and full of untruths. VERY HAPPY with Dr. Stricker --- He is one of the best and was there with AIDS and knows what is happening. Thank you Dr. Stricker!

It seems not only are we morgellons sufferers on on own, but many other new strange TOXIC diseases are being kept under wraps from public health departments.
Our world is TOXIC.
Thank you Monsanto for agent orange, DDT, GMO's, and roundup all going into our ground/soil, drinking water and showering water.
Why all these sudden "IMMUNE" diseases?
Answer: Monsanto, Dow Chemical, and a few others.
