Hi all, I hope you've been as well as you can manage.
I've had a strange experience, and I always like to bring those here first.
Several years ago, I had an instance when I was nearly certain that I had peeled some sort of a malformed insect out of a lesion on my shin. A few minutes ago, I stabbed a dry and puffy lesion on my thigh with the tweezers and pulled the scab off to relieve the pressure and it came off with a pop, and I felt something land on top of my leg, (I was seated,) and immediately saw a small black dot, and said to myself, "Whatever that is -it came from that lesion."
I finished up my minor surgery, and then turned the tweezers to the black dot. Under the loupe, I saw a rather crunched up gnat, that looked very much like he had been under the scab on my leg. His legs were kind of folded and looked as though they had just opened from being under pressure. He wasn't moving, and was kind of stuck on one leg of the tweezers, so I asked my wife "Wanna see a weird one?"
She came in and examined it as I told her the story.
"Flush it," she said.
I picked it up again and gave it another look, and it began to rapidly come to life, like a chick out of an egg -THAT was when it got crushed and flushed.
I googled "Morgellons Gnat" and saw a lot of interesting speculation on fungus gnats becoming parasitic to mammals -and as of this moment -I think the idea has a lot of merit. This was a fully formed and well alive gnat, that appeared to hatch from my leg -and closely resembled the partially formed bug from years ago. I'm still a firm believer in removing this crap -so it would make sense that none would have come to fruition before. The lesion on my leg hasn't been a problem site -so I've left it alone for a few months. It was dry and healed, although still pink, after removing the scab. There was also no more pressure. It seems quite like it would if it had just held the gnat.
As usual, I'm just sharing the experience, but I will be checking back to see if anyone can add anything, since I have found this is an area that some have looked into.
I'm currently treating with the molasses and baking soda cocktail that the man claimed to have cured his cancer with -and I'm running strong for the last year, doing heavy work, and drinking that mixture when I feel the need.
Be well, and please jump in if you know anything about the fungus gnat connection.
Be well.
