A) Morgellons is man made (regardless it's origin) Very possible, but how can we identify something's origin without even knowing what it is? Seems like a bit of an assumption. B) Whomever created it has launched a massive disinformation campaign Again, possible. But these conspiracy theories depend on the assumption that a group of people know the cause of a hideous illness and choose to keep silent for years to protect some interest. Humans, as a default, are not this bad. Unless I find some grand motive or more proof of conspiracy I'm not sold. C) Some people in the Morgellons community don't have it, but really are wacko's Maybe a small percentage, but there is little motive for claiming this illness for most people. Symptoms are so varied in manifestation and severity that people with minor M are called delusional. I feel most of those in the CDC study indeed had M. At first the docs said I had DOP too. They now agree I have M, only a fool could deny the existence of the large masses of fiber and matter that one can see leave my body. D) We are on our own to figure the mystery out Yep. CDC study was a huge letdown. E) Does something with/to hair Absolutely. My condition is currently 90% scalp. My balding reversed somewhat when I got this. I feel it could be related to our hair pulling something out of the environment that interacts with the M. Because I have a ton of fibers leaving my feet too (another part of the body with thin tissue), but the feet fibers don't itch. F) is extremely tiresome to deal with on a daily basis At first, the fatigue was overwhelming. Now I get short bouts of extreme fatigue, but overall I am energetic. G) is zoonotic Dunno. Prolly. H) very hard to believe the things we see on ourselves. I find it much harder to believe that this has been so widely diagnosed as DOP when many of the syptoms are so very easily observed by the naked eye. ============================= When you reply just put a +1 or a -1 under the statement. C) Some people in the Morgellons community don't have it, but really are wacko's We can't be judging folks, while complaining that we are being judged. This scourge can drive a person to be wacko. I am not my old self for sure. I just thank God that I didn't get put in a mental institution, which sure could have happened.

Amen to that bb, when I was first dealing with this scourge I was very stressed and it showed. Being told by doctors that I had a mental disorder certainly didn't help things.

As much as I don't like to judge others I too feel that calling some "wacko" is out of line. We can not prove ourselves if someone has this or not. I believe that no one in their right mind would say they have Morgellons if they haven't, one just knows. I agree with the 2 posts above. I was driven to the brink of insanity and my many posts on the internet from 2006 are evidence of this. I went bonkers and non of it was my fault. I developed a fork tongue and abused my own family with the most heinous words. I was never ever that person before the onset of Morgellons. Now having the proof also of having Lyme disease and understand even more the damage these combination of diseases have done to my spirit. A wounded spirit is very very hard to mend. I will get there.

I know who the wacko's really are and that is the staff who say they care for psychiatric patients. I've had the full torture treatment, no holds bared, though they didn't electric shock my brain. I first attempted suicide in 1998 and then again 2002. Neither time was I then transferred to the psychiatric ward. In fact the 2nd suicide attempt, I was made to get out of the bed in the ER around 4am in the morning and take a Taxis home. I could hardly walk and had black eyes from the Charcoal. Hours prior I had been fighting for my life. Cruel, horrible people who call themselves "health professional"...I see through you people.

Wow, itchin, that is the stuff of horror movies. How could they do that to you!? Because they can and the stigma of mental illness has done more harm than good. Has mental health changed in 50 years....NO!

Hi Ginna
I thought Morgellons was discovered in the 1800 France when a rich man who had something to do with lead or mercury had a son who would grow fibers out of his back. I do agree that it has been altered to be carried with certain fungus or bacteria and put into bugs with Nano tech and transferred to all living creatures. But I not sure why some are immune to Morgellons except to go back to the hyper toxicity. Which is of course just a guess on my part.

Just an odd FYI:
No, not from 1800 France.... actually a variety of odd skin problems, requiring the examination of a person who had "different colored hairs in body sores", baldness, rashes, boils and such along with mold/mildew contaminating the clothing/home environment go way back Before Christ recorded in the old testament of Leviticus 13 from the Bible:
Skin Diseases
2 “If anyone has a swelling or a rash or discolored skin that might develop into a serious skin disease, that person must be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons.
3 The priest will examine the affected area of the skin. If the hair in the affected area has turned white and the problem appears to be more than skin-deep, it is a serious skin disease, and the priest who examines it must pronounce the person ceremonially unclean.
4 “But if the affected area of the skin is only a white discoloration and does not appear to be more than skin-deep, and if the hair on the spot has not turned white, the priest will quarantine the person for seven days.
6 On the seventh day the priest will make another examination. If he finds the affected area has faded and has not spread, the priest will pronounce the person ceremonially clean. It was only a rash. The person’s clothing must be washed, and the person will be ceremonially clean.
8 If the priest finds that the rash has spread, he must pronounce the person ceremonially unclean, for it is indeed a skin disease.
10 If the priest finds a white swelling on the skin, and some hair on the spot has turned white, and there is an open sore in the affected area,
11 it is a chronic skin disease, and the priest must pronounce the person ceremonially unclean. In such cases the person need not be quarantined, for it is obvious that the skin is defiled by the disease.
12 “Now suppose the disease has spread all over the person’s skin, covering the body from head to foot.
14 But if any open sores appear, the infected person will be pronounced ceremonially unclean.
16 However, if the open sores heal and turn white like the rest of the skin, the person must return to the priest
17 for another examination. If the affected areas have indeed turned white, the priest will then pronounce the person ceremonially clean by declaring, ‘You are clean!’
18 “If anyone has a boil on the skin that has started to heal,
19 but a white swelling or a reddish white spot develops in its place, that person must go to the priest to be examined.
20 If the priest examines it and finds it to be more than skin-deep, and if the hair in the affected area has turned white, the priest must pronounce the person ceremonially unclean. The boil has become a serious skin disease.
21 But if the priest finds no white hair on the affected area and the problem appears to be no more than skin-deep and has faded, the priest must quarantine the person for seven days.
26 But if the priest finds no white hair on the affected area and the problem appears to be no more than skin-deep and has faded, the priest must quarantine the infected person for seven days.
29 “If anyone, either a man or woman, has a sore on the head or chin,
30 the priest must examine it. If he finds it is more than skin-deep and has fine yellow hair on it, the priest must pronounce the person ceremonially unclean. It is a scabby sore of the head or chin.
31 If the priest examines the scabby sore and finds that it is only skin-deep but there is no black hair on it, he must quarantine the person for seven days.
32 On the seventh day the priest must examine the sore again. If he finds that the scabby sore has not spread, and there is no yellow hair on it, and it appears to be only skin-deep,
33 the person must shave off all hair except the hair on the affected area. Then the priest must quarantine the person for another seven days.
34 On the seventh day he will examine the sore again. If it has not spread and appears to be no more than skin-deep, the priest will pronounce the person ceremonially clean. The person’s clothing must be washed, and the person will be ceremonially clean.
35 But if the scabby sore begins to spread after the person is pronounced clean, 36 the priest must do another examination. If he finds that the sore has spread, the priest does not need to look for yellow hair. The infected person is ceremonially unclean.
37 But if the color of the scabby sore does not change and black hair has grown on it, it has healed. The priest will then pronounce the person ceremonially clean.
38 “If anyone, either a man or woman, has shiny white patches on the skin,
39 the priest must examine the affected area. If he finds that the shiny patches are only pale white, this is a harmless skin rash, and the person is ceremonially clean.
40 “If a man loses his hair and his head becomes bald, he is still ceremonially clean.
41 And if he loses hair on his forehead, he simply has a bald forehead; he is still clean.
Treatment of Contaminated Clothing Cleansing From Mildew [and Fungus]
42 However, if a reddish white sore appears on the bald area at the top or back of his head, this is a skin disease. 43 "If the mildew reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house scraped and plastered, 44 the priest is to go and examine it and, if the mildew has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew; the house is unclean. 45 It must be torn down—its stones, timbers and all the plaster—and taken out of the town to an unclean place.
46 "Anyone who goes into the house while it is closed up will be unclean till evening. 47 Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash his clothes.
48 "But if the priest comes to examine it and the mildew has not spread after the house has been plastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the mildew is gone.
49 To purify the house he is to take two birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop. 50 He shall kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot. 51 Then he is to take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times. 52 He shall purify the house with the bird's blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn. 53 Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields outside the town. In this way he will make atonement for the house, and it will be clean."

Hi Ginna
Wow. I did not know. But I was hoping to remember or find or get a response of you or someone about the first medically documented case. Was it 1800 or 1600s in France? I bet it is very mutated now sense all the gene altering and nano thrown in.

Hi BB
Thank you very much for the info. I knew there was a mercury connection. I also think that any toxic substance by itself or combined with other can break down the body in such a way to do the same thing as the Mercury and make one suseptable to Morgellons. Like the Nano, GMO, Boron in the Chem trails, and Monsanto's pesticides. Even the intentional bugs which may have a mutated version from Plum Island or all these pop up labs wanting their hay day.

The history in that link was very interesting. I had not seen that before, only Sir Thomas Browne's.
I don't know if mercury has anything to do with morgs, since many of us report bug bites at the onset of symptoms. This happened to me overnight.
I wish to God I had kept evidence of the bugs I found in my bed just after a cruise ship vacation. I'm not sure if they were bed bugs. I found them by placing a white sheet of paper on my bed with the covers folded back. After an hour or so, I checked and saw them, though they were very hard to see. Some were as small as the period at the end of this sentence or smaller. Some were just as tiny but had barely visible long legs. Others looked like tiny beetles and some of the beetles types were larger. I think these were 4 life stages of whatever was in my bed. I didn't actually have any evident bug bites, but I was itching terribly. I didn't have any lesions that first year of this hell.
We sprayed poisons, burned furniture, moved out for months, etc. Now when I place a white sheet of paper on my bed I do not find anything. We got rid of the bugs, but the symptoms continued. I believe these things vectored a disease to me, much in the way that Lyme, other diseases and pararsites are transmitted. Many of these transmitted diseases are animal diseases. As strange as this disease/parasite/condition/ has been, I would not be surprised if it wasn't something cooked up for germ warfare.
Lyme, or Stari in Texas, doesn't bother the deer too much (except I've been told the deer harvested off our property have no teeth), it doesn't bother the vector insect at all, but it reeks hell on humans.
I will never eat deer meat again, it is full of bacteria! I know many people who do eat it though.
