dermatlas.med.jhmi.edu/derm/IndexDisplay.cfm?ImageID=1075254586This gal in the Atlas Dermatology *above* picture has BLACK sweat coming out of her pores. From link above: This young woman complained of black sweat on her cheeks since early adolescence. Increased stress and manual pressure to the lesions resulted in expression of thin black watery discharge from the prominent pores on her cheeks. The article below, the guy has BLUE GRANULES in his skin. The sweat or granules can be blue, green, yellow, red etc... And the STUPID doctors don't know this can really happen in the pores of our skin?? It is a rare disorder, but it DOES happen. I wonder if this could be pigmenting the fibers that are growing "in the follicles" Bluish cytoplasmic granules were observed in the apocrine epithelium lining. The diagnosis of facial apocrine Chromhidrosis was made. dermatology.cdlib.org/133/case_reports/chromhidrosis/chang.html

Chromhidrosis (also referred to as "Colored sweat" is a rare condition characterized by the secretion of colored sweat. It is caused by the deposition of *lipofuscin* in the sweat glands. Cases of red, blue, green, yellow and black sweat have been reported. Usually chromhidrosis affects the apocrine glands, mainly on the face and underarms. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromhidrosis

What is Lipofuscin? Lipofuscin is the name given to finely granular yellow-brown pigment granules composed of lipid-containing residues of lysosomal digestion. It is considered one of the aging or "wear-and-tear" pigments, found in the liver, kidney, heart muscle, adrenals, nerve cells, and ganglion cells. Lipofuscin accumulation is a major risk factor implicated in macular degeneration, a degenerative disease of the eye. Abnormal accumulation of lipofuscin is associated with a group of diseases of neurodegenerative disorder type called lipofuscinoses, e.g., neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis, also known as Batten disease, as well as some other names.Pathological accumulation of lipofuscin is implicated in Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, certain lysosomal diseases, acromegaly, denervation atrophy, lipid myopathy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, centronuclear myopathy. Accumulation of lipofuscin in the colon is the cause of the condition melanosis coli. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipofuscin

Toni
Those who get the black oil substance coming out of their skin. Some have reported a milky substance or yellow substance. May actually be this problem that comes about from having Morgellons? I wonder what they need to do so that body function can come about and work properly. Seems Morgellons attacks all systems no matter what it is.

I agree Lynn, Morgellons "seems" to affect everything in our body.
I only posted this info because it "could be" a source of the many colored "artifacts" and sweat and oil we've seen come out of our skin.
It's just another workable acknowledged lead.

2 years and 5K later, Transformation Enzymes helped cured this problem!!!
Never had black sweat coming out before MgD. My hair was falling out like crazy. My husband had to keep that snake thing handy to keep the shower drain free.
I had times I was passing out from overheating and had trouble sweating anything. It was not bad enough for other people to notice but my husband. My yellow bathroom rugs would dirty quickly. I would wash my clothes and curly que fibers that looked like hair would be stuck to anything cotton. It had gone thru wash and dry and the fibers did not let go.
If any ladies that were standing in line at the St Louis Arch during the All Star game in 2009 when I was having an episode are reading this. I am forever greatful to yall!!!!
Big lesions did not start until 2010.
Much better now. Still on a maintence dose of Enzymes and Colloidal silver.

Hi Toni
I hope I did not derail you. Did not mean too. Was just trying to put it together. It was not too long ago I went through a short stint where a light black smear would come out of the pores on my right cheek. Just enough to get my attention. Boy did it. I was alarmed for a couple of weeks, but it was short lived.
You know I can not remember for sure, but I think that is when I first started using mustard treatment. It may have drawn out the stuff. It is good to know how the gland under the hair follicle can go wacky and can produce that. It really seems to be right on target. Takes some of the scare out of what happened.
