Wow BB it was confusing to see the info at the CDC site describe STARI as an allergy not a diseae but in almost the same breath say that symptoms are similar to lyme but less long lasting.

BB (thank you for this article). My goodness, this REALLY is incredible about eating meat, and how it can kill us actually, from having a reaction with something else, depending on what we've got going on inside us, (like that tick bacterium). As this progresses, the findings, I wonder what other bacteriums they'll find (in common) that causes reactions. Incredibly interesting this was. Thanks again. Something else I'm wondering which the article didn't mention. I wonder if the "meat" or cattle are infected too, because so far, it seems they're only testing the people. What if...it takes both, the meat with the bacterium and the human with the bacterium to cause such a reaction of the both combining...and it's just too much for the body to handle. Like a major overdose of an allergen throwing the body into such a severe reaction. Like any allergy (possibly). Someone allergic to dust. They can handle a little bit of dust here and there, but... put them into a room loaded with it, and they go into a full blown attack.
