tinypic.com/player.php?v=x2a2xc&s=6This is SO weird. You know (in the past some of us called the things that pop out of the skin, like granules) well...I called them poppers. Poppers because they seem to just "pop out of the skin". Well..here's a popper, and a Demodex Mite trying to crawl out of it. 2nd half of the 2 min video shows this sucker better. This is at 200X magnification. The "casing thing" or "popper" that it's climbing out of is the size of a salt granule or a bit smaller. The mite as small as it is, is moving the entire housing or (casing thing that it's in).Strong little suckers they are. When I rub my skin with oil (almond oil) these seem to just rub out. I think any kind of oil will work.

I better get back to the scope slide to make sure it didn't get out of that casing thing, and run off.

AH HA! Now I know why (awhile back) I'd asked if anyone else had seen "white things the size of salt granules" try and go back into the skin. Now I know why (because once these casings/poppers) pop out of the skin, or are rubbed out, they have D. Mites hanging out of them and the casing DRIES. Yes. I watched. And the casing "shrink wraps around their bodies to hard granules" and seals them in from the waist down, basically around the mites middle, and the mites remain sticking out half way because they can't get out of that casing thing. So, if it were on a chair (many of them) for instance, YUCKO... then someone sit down bare legged, these suckers will try and go right back into the skin because their mouth and feet still work fine! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH But isn't that interesting...I thought so, hahaha So, maybe "brush off where you sit" and for sure where you sleep. Pillows mostly. Just about everyone has them, and learned they know of several bacteriums they can carry. And these bacteriums can cause heart attacks too - besides who knows whatever else.

Hi Toni
I sure wish I could get pics like that. I get white granules that pop out of my legs mostly, but all over. I have times after my shower where my skin feel grimy because of so many tiny white specks. I still get black speck and those are the one I catch going back into my pores once in a very great while. I will have to pay more attention to the white specks and see if I can see anything similar. That bug looks a little like a worm with tiny feet like the once I pulled out from the inside of may arms 3 years ago.

I couldn't watch the whole thing...I wish I could get images like that too. What comes out of my skin looks to the eye like a blue bundle, a black bundle, crystals, sand....I reckon my bundles would have many critters for sure. I do attempt to have a drop sheet in the bathroom for these predators when they come out. I do know I can drop them around the house, then the bloody fibers, and always the token fibers stuck to the bathroom cleaning cloth!! driving me to despair. I was joking saying..."gosh I hope the bundles around the place are not like the Gremlin movie where you add water and they keep multiplying!!!"
