Bone marrow contains lots of amino acids, (protein builders)
for the body.
Wow, lots of the same cravings we have the same,
lemons, and pickles too, (except the marrow) part,
;D hehe
Personally, ( I don't really know why we or anyone
craves certain foods on particular days, , but I just really
believe our body does that crave thing, so we'll make sure
that we do eat it).
Somewhere, maybe in reading, was an article about
cravings and our bodies. It said the body does sort of
like a "recall" thing.
And the recall is triggered by the body's need for something
lacking in the diet.
But, as far as "true science goes"...it's just not established
"with them yet".
Years back, I couldn't eat enough green veggies,
I mean I was on a kick that wouldn't quit. Later I looked
up each veggie I was craving so badly, and saw that the
HRT (estradiol) I was talking actually ZAPPED the B vitamins
out of the body. So (to me) that craving I had of eating
all kinds of "anything green"....I believe was because my
system did a recall of "what contained B vitamins" and
then I associated it with "green foods" - and it was all so
that my system could obtain the extra B's that the estradiol
was depleting (that I didn't know) was doing that.
I know that's just "speculation" ...but, we now have learned
how little medicine or science really does know, and they've
just not "studied that area enough" about cravings, because
there's so many "speculations" out there, but, without
tried and true tested facts.
But we know what we need "when we need it", even
without science to prove it.
