Guys and gals with scopes, I've got a couple of questions
since you are using them, you're (imho) the best judge.
I'm looking at some scopes (noooooothing lab status) at all.
I don't need that.
Here's my goal, or rather....my needs.
To be able to (magnifiy the specimens) duh... ;D
BUT, I want them mag'ed on my (computer monitor/screen),
not just that little 3.5 screen thing that comes connected
to the scope.
*or is that possible* with either of these?
Some scopes (2- I'm considering) Barska or Celestron.
Both scopes have that 3.5 screen, and will magnify up to
1200 or 2300 I think it was, BUT again, they'll only do this on
the 3.5 (attached screen)....and not the (computer's monitor).
And that doesn't do any good for sharing pictures or video's
IF I am the "only one seeing it". I have a scope like that
already, but...I can't share pictures.
So I need something that EVERYONE can view under
great magnification, not just me.
Can some of you tell me about your scopes and how
you get the pictures or video's from your 3.5 screen
to your computer?
Do you use SD cards?
Here's why this is or has become such a pain for me.
(besides my QX not working on this computer for who
knows why, because I sure can't figure it out).
I'm no lab tech, hahah no kiddin, and I'm SO used to my
old QX5, because I like the EASE and SIMPLICITY of it.
I mean I can get needles and my fingers under that scope
(between the specimens and the overhead lighting) so
that too is a concern about the other scopes with the
*objective attachments*.
Is there "play room" underneath the "mag objectives and the slide"?
See, with the QX5, you can clearly see on your monitor screen
what you are viewing as well as exactly what you are
video'ing and taking pictures of too.
The Q is like "what you see on your screen, IS what you
get in your pictures, or video's because there's no
transferring nothing", as it's in it's own program.
So changing scopes (really isn't what I want to do, but
I have to) now.
My other question is, IF an SD card is used to transport
the pictures or video's from the Celestron or Barsaka
scopes 3.5 screen, AND (then to the computer)...
is it EASY to see what exactly you are "transferring to your
computer"?
I surely appreciate any help anybody can give me.
Thank you kindly.
