NaturalNews Insider Alert ( www.NaturalNews.com ) email newsletter Dear NaturalNews readers, A young girl named Justina Pelletier is right now being held as a medical prisoner by Boston Children's Hospital, the same institution that kidnapped her nearly 10 months ago. This bizarre but true story is the ultimate horror of every family: Parents marched out of the hospital essentially at gunpoint while their daughter is stolen from them and kidnapped by medical authorities. This is REAL. It's happening right now in America: www.naturalnews.com/042999_Boston_Childrens_Hospital_child_kidnapping_Justina_Pelletier.html

Hi Toni
Yes this is very disturbing. The article didn't mention what her symptoms were did it? So not enough detail here to know how she might be suffering . What alarms me here is the diagnosis of somatoform disorder. Wikipedia says
In people who have a somatoform disorder, medical test results are either normal or do not explain the person's symptoms, and history and physical examination do not indicate the presence of a medical condition that could cause them. Patients with this disorder often become worried about their health because doctors are unable to find a cause for their symptoms. This may cause severe distress. Preoccupation with the symptoms may portray a patient's exaggerated belief in the severity of their ill-health.
So in other words The great and powerful medical people cant find anything wrong. so there for it must be a mental condition. hmm sounds familiar.
This is messed up on so many levels I don't know where to begin.
So let me get this straight. They are holding a child whom they believe has no physical problem.
They disagree with another doctors diagnosis. So they torture the whole family like this. OMG.
Shouldn't this be taken up by the medical board or something.? This is so wrong Yes this scares me.
I don't know anything about mitochondrial diseases. But it sounds like it could be controversial. I found this statement about it.
Research into treatments and other disease aspects is ongoing; there are several organizations devoted to understanding and treating these relatively rare disorders.
This child needs her family.

A friend mentioned that "Natural News" have been known to get the facts wrong in the past. I have no idea, I just posted this article on my Facebook page because it really upset me to read. Despite Journalists twisting the truth, there is enough in that article to make people want to wake up to the illusion of the medical establishment.

A Conn FOX NEWS station ran the story and the family will be going to court on Dec 5 for custody hearing. Will be interesting to see how this pans out. Sure there will be more on this case next week. Tufts specialists diagnosis differs from Children's Hospital and because parents disagreed with CH's DX they lost custody of their daughter. PARENTS BEWARE. www.foxct.com/2013/11/26/daughter-held-at-boston-childrens-hospital-for-nine-months/
