news.kron4.com/news/report-petaluma-meat-plant-processed-diseased-cows-when-inspectors-werent-there/
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of how millions of pounds of bad meat – products the U.S. Department of Agriculture called “unfit for human food” – made it out into the world and triggered a criminal investigation is one of staggering deception and cancerous cows, federal officials familiar with the investigation tell CNN. And the plant where it all went down was also the setting for an illicit romance, according to documents obtained by CNN.
Federal investigators started surveillance on the California facility after getting a tip from a former Rancho employee. In January, federal marshals raided the Petaluma plant and seized the company’s records. Days later, the first recall notice went out, officials said.
Investigators now believe that Rancho was buying diseased dairy cows and processing them when government inspectors weren’t there.
After the cows were killed, employees would hide the warning signs of cancer by trimming off diseased parts, using a fake stamp of approval or even replacing the heads of sick cows with ones from healthy animals. It’s unclear which employees were involved, officials said.
The account provides a fuller picture of what happened inside the plant than has been previously made public. In a letter a day after the first recall, the USDA told Rancho an investigation found that the facility “shipped adulterated and misbranded product” and hadn’t inspected cattle that “were likely affected with epithelioma of the eye (eye cancer).”
But that wasn’t the only misconduct going down at the plant.
Turns out that one of the government inspectors – someone responsible for protecting consumers from bad meat – was having a romantic relationship with a plant foreman, according to a USDA email obtained by CNN.
*isn't this just pitiful. Wonder how many times over the decades things like this happen*

I go to livestock auctions to sell my lambs. Now I raise healthy happy lambs for market but let me tell you something. Farmers and ranchers do all of there business at livestock auctions because that’s where the big buyers are. I have seen a lot of nice herds and flocks sold for the consumer market, but I have also seen animals that were sick, sucked up, hardly walking, hair falling off and just all around looking bad. I assumed those are used for dog food and or other none food products but you just never know.
I live in the country now, on a dirt road with only five houses on it. It was a change for me after I became ill with morgellons in the city. One thing I learned about these folks in the country, they raise much of there own food. In the two years I have lived here I have learned to trade food products. I raise lambs and chickens (both meat and layers) while my neighbor raises cows and pigs and another neighbor has the dairy cow. Most everyone has gardens and does canning each year. It is a totally different way of life. Sure we all buy food from the grocery store but nobody around me buys or eats meat they haven’t raised themselves. Now you might be wondering, has this cured me of morgellons, hell no! It has opened my eyes to the realities of the world and it keeps me busy. I have chores to do around here and animals that need me. Guess that’s better lying in bed sick all the time.
This story on the slaughterhouse is bad but unfortunately it is not a new one. Money and greed rule the day and until we forget about party lines in Washington and just vote everybody out we are only collateral damage.
Keep your chin up and don’t be afraid to make a bold change in your life. Fulfill your bucket list and do what makes you happy.

This kind of thing has been happening for such a long time now.
My friend used to work in a meat packing company, in fact many of the local family's worked there, it was closed down soon after they found that since the beginning of the company's inception they were running all the spilled blood out the door and into a creek. The smell of the place was just plain disgusting AND the community was built around this filth. The fly's in the air were like bumble bees.
My friend said if they found growths in prime cut they would cut it out, if this meat was not prime cut you can only imagine that it ended up sausage or baloney.
He was a trimmer so he would know. The slaughter house wastes nothing.
NOW with the use of antibiotic feed you can only imagine the disease strains strength that has arisen. You can only dope disease for so long with the same exact item before the bacteria learns to easily overcome it.
The powers that be now want to be able to use our last line of defense antibiotics on animals, so, in the long run any bacteria in man will also be immune to the antibiotic as we eat the animals and the antibiotic is in their flesh.
SO if you ever have a life threatening infection and all the other antibiotics will not do it, your out of luck, the last line of defense is gone as you have been eating it for years.
You may want to look into that, they were talking about doing this, I do not know if they did.
Power and Money mongers are the slime of the earth, what ever happened to pride and doing what is right.

HEAR THAT! I spent a year going to High School in Sparks, NV. I remember walking past a packing house on my way to school. It did smell bad and I remember the blood that ran out of that place. It ran across the dirt field and down the gutters along the street. There was no other smell like it. Even back then I knew it was wrong but your right, it was a large employer for the area. Money and Greed brother.
