Hello Fm5, Trust those who have lived with good experience through learning and being linked to the Morgellons Foundation. Keep an open mind. Many ENVIRONMENTS can affect peoples immune responses, and even watery eyes, itching, hives, headaches, and many other things are caused by immune responses. My wife has reactions to different chemicals, and even to others perfumes, smells, etc. You will probably eventually find that you have Lyme Disease, or a Lyme Co-Infection, or some other underlying Disease or condition which has compromised your immune system. You may have come into contact with the organism that causes Morgellons at the same time your immune system took the Dive, and this was all compounded because of the chemical response to the glue, etc. and then you also became Diseased with Morgellons. This is a good place to learn a good foundation that you can build upon, but a faulty foundation cannot last. It dissolves and crumbles with time, and also because of what is really happening. Not everybody comes here with good understanding, but it is developed with reasoning and an open mind. So keep coming. Greg

Greg Again, all I can say is that I didn't have the symptoms until they were laying down carpet in my building. The symptoms dissipated after I left the building, and then come back within 15 minutes of being in the building. And others I worked with had the same symptoms as me - and didn't have them before the carpet was laid. I can only give you my suggestion as to the cause of this illness. I believe it could be caused by a chemical in either carpets or carpet glue.

Just a theory mind you, but I do have the fibers and thingies that hatch out of me and I think maybe the carpet had a serious fiber worm, like the agriculture department oked to enhance cotton and fibers made from them. This stated for me in a very similar way and now my dogs hair is alive with this and we have internal stuff going on too, My husband doesn't have the sores . I have been experimenting lately with shaving the spot off to see if it gets better, I remove the fibers by pulling gently and it seems to help. I still and always have believed this is man made and it is attracting other insects to us as we are their food source. Pool clorine diluted in the tub turn my water to fuzz, like I am alive with them and this removes them. peroxide makes the lession go flat and then the mites and collembola go back in the old holes and it starts again. Now because of the attraction that bugs have for me I feel I have Lymes symptoms too ! Real awful cycle. I can rid my self temporarily from one and wal la it comes back different. 10 1/2 years now, but I am still hangin in, . Would like to hear any others views about the fiber worms, we created !! Thanks Guest.

I have friends who have the scabies, then the threads. I think I may have contracted it. I was very itchy a few weeks ago, when I went to bed. And was a bit itchy after, but I have not been THAT itchy since. I also have not had any lesions/sores. Could I have it and not have the lesions? Is it possible to get the lyme disease from scabies?

Susan, bless your heart! I know many Morgie's are very ill. I wish I could make everyone believe me, it is in our environment and on our skin. We can get it off of our skin with castor oil, salt baths, hot tub, infra-red sauna, but still have to work on the environment too. I wash everything in hot water and dry hot, including our bedding and pillows. Get rid of carpet and cloth furniture! It is so important to reduce their population in your home and on your body. Keep working at breaking their cycle. My home is safer and safer as time goes by.
I do occasionally feel bugs crawling up my legs when I'm away from home too, like things are attracted to me.

Has any of you thought about the many microbes, including mold & insects that feed off of mold & bacteria that live beneath carpet. Could it be possible that when the original carpet was removed, it released all kinds of microbes/small bugs into the building long before the new carpet was glued down? sledge13
