I guess the subject about sums it up- suddenly in the mirror I notice my ears are huge- one much bigger than the other! Is anyone else experiencing this? Anyone know of an anti-growth hormone or such?

Where's Spock? We need him now! Mine are getting smaller, but then I am getting older, too. Are they swollen? Do you have clicking in them? Many have gotten growth on the cartilage of their ears.

Hi friend, Tokyo, This sounds like what could be edema, swelling, are you having sounds in the ears of any kind? I know there are some folks on here right now that have some terrible problems that haven't been talked about much, I have to let them tell their story though. PM me and we can talk. Hang tight, these big changes come and go, sometimes things only last a few days. I will be praying for U. Come back to KC, I'll go with you this time. I have to get a referral, but I will. Love You, ebgb

Thanks for enquiring ebgbgms. I'm doing o.k.. Haven't purchased the Rife machine yet. Car problems- new clutch, rebuilding funds. Looking forward to it though. Hope you're improving in health daily!
Tokyo- Please pm me concerning your ear. At the extreme onset of this disease (external lesion onset), my right ear, actually entire right side of my face swelled. The pain and pressure was unbearable. I have had two flare-ups since then. I'm still dealing with the remainder of this last one. The 'skin' (if that is what you can call the layer that keeps my insides inside) has been peeling away (with my assistance). A roadmap of tunnels/tracks are being revealed and it is beyond disturbing. One of the 'tunnels' moves up the side of my face, just at the hairline. This is where, when I had that first bad flare, I could see 'things' (items, creatures, some Things- whatever/whichever things) travelling under my skin in a steady stream up into my brain. Alarming to say the least. Hot wash clothes, neosporin cream plus pain relief, removal, colloidal silver, tea tree oil, spritzing Ecovie, hydrogen peroxide, and a paste I make from mixing the Mannatech (no product plug here, just something that has worked for a longer period of time than any other products, before it becomes a staple of their diet) products Ambrotose powder and Emprizone gel. All of these help in the ongoing battle. I am interested in hearing of your specific symptoms, so please do email me. I am sorry your having additional problems specific to your ear. This is really all way too much. love, Justice

As people age, it is normal for the cartilage to grow. Ears and nose get larger. Don't know if that is the case, but thought I would mention it. I notice this, but attribute it to age. Skytroll, what's your secret? You are going in reverse!? Now, let's forget about ears for a minute.. growth of ears tell us nothing.. anybody able to see the spokesman for the CDC.. we need to keep an eye on his nose. spec

They hit your ears big time.
That is one of my last problem areas.
Colodial silver in your ears with foam ear plugs before you go to sleep.
That gets them out.

Thank You to Justice for your nice reply to T and to the others. T. Please don't take the JOKES wrong, even though I know I would. Everyone on the board is working hard and some can hardly work. They need humor some times I guess. Please keep replying and know we love ya. Always, ebgb

Both of my children and self have ear growing issues at the onset. I don't attribute any of it to age or anything other than this disease or a part of it. Even though a ND and my kids pediatrician called it normal it is anything but. When you apply a product to an area and the area responds by instantly blowing up...to me that is saying it is infected with something. Most of the pictures of a Lyme infected ear resemble the puffiness of my children's and self ear...I've posted the pictures here before but don't recall where. I'll have to look again. I've got a little lump on my left ear that I would think is described as ACA Lyme that Dr. Schwartz told me he thought it harbored a worm!?! Go figure? I'll look and try to post some pictures. About the one side being bigger that the other...I've got whoa those issues...especially the leg and booty cheeks! Great huh!?!

Thanks, everyone, for your posts! Some really nice messages here, and good suggestions to try. The ear thing I'm thinking is due to something internal- hormonal disruption? some area of the brain being affected? - rather than skin infection- There really is drastic difference when I see myself from the side now. Hmmm. Something simple like birth control can set a normal body back on track with hormones, but I don't know in the case of excessive production. It's normal for ears and nose to continue growing as people get old, but I wonder if there's a way to halt this growth. I do notice my morgellons took a jump in improvement when starting birth control- combined with all the other cleaning, diet, etc factors. I'm feeling generally optimistic. Hope you guys feel good too!!
