the colonoscopy could only advance 20% because of the looping of my scarred intestines and colon and intense pain, even with the highest dose of meds. the 20% he could see is full of deep pockets from diverticulitis. he said it looked as if theywere 80-90 years old.
so the scar-like tissue all over my arms, face, legs, body, is for sure lining the gut cavities. wish he could take a picture.
i'll do a barium enema in 2 weeks so she can exray and see what else is there, plus another thyroid test.

i forgot to add...........i have been vegetarian for many years. 53 now, at 27 became organic, vegetarian.
i can't afford so much the organic part, but my diet is and has been good for years........yet look at my guts.
full of scar tissue. i now assume all organs are scar lined and snaking through to meet each other.....just like the infected insects. it's just taking them longer as i am bigger. like mold going through brick.

jody, please let me know about your colonoscopy
... he couldn't get the scope thru
my tube as the scar tissue wouldn't expand, so deep pockets and scar tissue .........
i'll bet i'll have to wear a bag.
the thought makes me lose my breathe.

Ruth, I am so sorry to hear about this latest news you have. You.have been through so much. I will tell you though that , my mom who is 80 has diverticulitis and a twisted bowel, which she recently had surgery on and came through great..Her diverticulitis is also healing with antibiotics , time and keeping the bowels moving with a herbal tea called "Smooth Move" at health food stores it has Senna in it.......Keep up the faith..Sondra

well this is great news but? ? strange. remember how this dr. scared my friend bea and me about the shape of my intestines? we cried about it all one day. i saw the barium enema on screen, the looped bowel, the 2 strictures with bowel inbetween thinking at least its a small section that is involved. and so i HAD an appt for monday to get the results..... instead i got them in the mail, (cancelling the monday appt.) biopsy: adenomatous polyp (precancerous potential and usually does not require further attention. recommendations: follow up in 2 months (for what?nothing was done) comments: your barium enema showed no serious problems was it God's healing power (lots of prayer on my behalf) or was this guy just.............. dr. bozo? I WAS REALLY SCARED THANK YOU GOD.
