I am a new member and only posted once. Not sure what we have, scabies the good doc says so far, but cant get RID of the lil beasties and they are on our face and in my mom's eyes. Next step is Stromectal, does anyone have any experience that this helps? She is allergic to Tea Tree Oil, Neem and all the essential oils as well as sulfur. We have cleaned like maniacs, took out all the carpets, bagged up everything, used DE, wiped the beds (waterbeds) with sulfur and vicks every time we change the sheets/pads (every two days) and STILL feel crawling. Not to mention mopping with either ammonia or vinegar every couple of days. You know, you whole works, our water/electric bill has been sky high the last six months from all the laundry/hot water. Dont know why they are so persistent. Has anyone had experience with Onchocersiasis? I do wonder...my hubby is from South America and I know he has done a LOT of fishing in the past, and gotten into fast water, and he says a lot of folks have lumps in his country, even tho its not listed. I wonder if it can be transmitted from skin to skin thru family members tho, how in the world would my mom have gotten it? Have been taking Cats Claw, Oregano, Colostrum, you name it, I have ordered it. The Ecovie didnt really seem to help either so I am just wondering if this is pesiticide resistent scabies or something else. Never seen fibers, but we have all been terribly fatiqued, depressed, and have our joints ache like crazy. My sis says its old age, but I say how does four family members have arthritis so bad you can barely walk all at the same time, when you have never experienced it before? Well, I have gone and written a book...bad habit of mine. Thanks for listening... Jill

Hi Kerry, Lately, I've been thinken. To avoid some confusion when you start to do your thing, I thought I'd let you know. There was a Freaky, & I don't know if he/she is still here. I believe that person was not me. Their 1st letter was a capitol F, mine lower case. Hope that was helpful. ;D freaky

Hi Kerry and Everybody,
I never post, but check in almost every night....sometimes when it gets too overwhelming I'm reading the board every couple hours to get through it. And yes, this board has been the one constant point of stability for me (3 years of this nightmare). I stopped talking about it to anyone it during the first year because, as most of us know, the reaction was less than favorable... to say the least... and who needs any extra negativity with this. The Eco vie has been pretty helpful for me, but nothing has wiped this out so far. Today I had to water my yard - my sprinkler system is down due to some construction going on - and I think every single bug in Los Angeles got on me - and of course I can't see anything on me ( I do need stronger glasses too) and have to scrub and shower for the rest of the day to get these creepy crawly things off of me. ( MSM Shampoo and conditioner from the health food store has been helpful. I alternate that with a product called Botanic Gold, which is a soap/cleaner for everything, floors, clothes, cars, walls etc. from one of those pyramid type sales companies - I've used it straight up as a shampoo, and it chills things out for a day or so. Also Neem shampoo for dogs is really good, and I use it on my dogs and it seems to work well on them. I can't bathe them as much as they probably need it, once a week is a whole day affair (I have 5) What a life! Still it's better than the alternative. How do we explain to our friends that sometimes the whole day IS about taking a shower, bath or cleaning? They already think I have OCD as it is....
It sure would be great to have one "Morg Free" day like it used to be, wouldn't it?

Please delete me, my husband thinks I am DOP and threatens divorce quite frequently which is scary because I have two kids. All my postings are documented and downloaded anyway. I liked being a member of this community, thanks to everyone who has helped me or communicated with me in the past. I miss Trav...

Don't delete me. I am really 99.9% over this stuff, but I will continue on with an antifungal & other regimen the rest of my life. I know this stuff is still lurking around in my body just looking for an opportunity to come back and ravage by body again.
I am compiling my thoughts and facts about dealing with this stuff for the last five years and will try to post it sometime in september. I think I am one of the few to ever conquer this stuff. I will also be providing some more HIPPA information and form letters to present to the doctors in case you get a DOP diagnosis. It is really fun to hit them with the HIPPA letters. They really don't like being criticized or called wrong by a laymen, but they have to put it in your medical records if you present it correctly. Sincerely, Wally
