I was wondering why I dont get the colored fibers, mine are always white. Under the scope they look tan. Anyone else? Some of them are moving and alive but mostly dead looking. They never sting either but feel crawlie, ticklish and like pin pricks or a needle. I dont itch that much but when I do its very intense. :-*Frisk

I need to research the "threadworm" family more, but I am thinking the black fibers may be one sex or stage of the worm and the whites another sex or phase.
Depending on how I extract them from my skin seems to determine the color that emerges. If I use a relatively cool temperature, near room temp., and use an oil to draw them out, the fibers and spikules are black. The 105F. hot tub excreeted exclusively white fibers.
Also right after the ithcies of the full moon I get white fibers out the tips of my fingers.
As far as other colors, I would get a few metallic green, blue and blacks but few reds. The reds are increasing a bit. But overall mostly black and white, here.

Looks like a hard thread, but under the scope looks sometimes looks like a softer gel form - or like flat separating ribbony plant-like tan threads. I hardly have seen things move - have sometimes seen them "fold" - but haven't been patient enough to watch them either. Itching and crawling symptoms are way way way down compared to more than a year ago. As long as I don't fall off the anti-candida wagon, I hardly feel itching or crawling. I gave into cravings for french fries and cookies a few weeks ago, at the same time I was starting the Salt/C regimen again. The itching and crawling and hair stuff got real bad - maybe a combination of eating carbs, sugar, and slight herxing from the salt/c. I regret eating fries and cookies - the brief moments of pleasure weren't worth it. QH

Im doing much better with anti candida diet also. Last year I went astray for a week while visiting family and paid for it also with a bad itchy crawlie breakout. All I did was increase my carbs and eat some figs and apples. No junk food. I guess this may be a life time diet for me. :-*Frisk
