tinyurl.com/k8blbIt seems the more I research coconut oil there is definetely some controversy weather or not its good for you. Im a little concerned because i take about 3 tablespoons a day. I may switch to caprylic acid pills to get the anti candida effects :-*Frisk

Friskaaay - I remember reading about my blood type (O neg), and comparing it to the "Eat Right for your Blood Type" kind of books/charts. It said for me, coconut and even pineapple are not so great for me typically. I'm more apt to have an inflammatory response to it rather than a beneficial improvement. Something along these lines. Kevin Trudeau's site mentions it as well. So for some... it really is good. Maybe not for all.

I went to that site Orion and of course they sell the product so thats whats bothering me. All the sites that rave about coocnut oils benes sell it. It seems like Mds and medical sites say its bad because its a saturated fat. i dont know as Im just beginning to question it. DOCP, I dont know what my blood type is and really the only negative effect ive had is one night i ate 3 tablespoonfuls and about an hour later felt ill and threw up. i love the taste and hate to give it up but I worry about my heart. Im getting older and both my parents have had heart attacks. I think I will get my cholestrol checked out and see if it has changed. Last I tested at only 133. :-*Friskaaay- I like that!!

What am I high? Did I really write that I'm O neg? Wow. I'm O positive. Yeah I'm positive about that. That is too weird. I've known my blood type since I had my tonsils out in junior high. Did I just make that up? It wasn't a typo cuz you can't typo three letters n-e-g out of the blue. I'm not even having brain fog. What the...? Sorry, just trippin.
So anyway... whatever you've been doing (candida diet, immune bldg), it's obviously working for you, but I did not know about that oil being the bad kind of ldl or hdl or however you say it. One is awful for us and one kind of fat we actually need. I have read that even if you're not a heart attack risk or you do not have abnormally high cholesterol... that you should eat like you are as far as avoiding the bad fat. Even if you're thin it can line your cells and whatnot and act as an absorbant for accumulating and holding toxins. And your cells can't clear amonia, urea, metals, etc as effeciantly.
Your reaction to the teaspoonfulls may be a sign of slight allergy. Yet some may say it could be a herx. Have you tried substituting flax or fish oils?

Hi FRisky~~
I've heard that coconut oil is really good fro people -- but, perhaps not for certain blood types? Sounds quite possible. Iearned about coconut oil from the Body Ecology Diet:
bodyecology.com/coconutoil.php -- she says its the Lauric Acied in it -- perhaps you can just take supplements?
Also, my doctor is REALLY -- I mean super-dooper really into blood clotting. So, this is what I know from him.
Lots of vitamin C -- take as much as 18 grams a day. Have you heard of Linus Pauling? He found that people with heart problems are actually in a low-grade state of scurvy -- and that taking L-Lysine with vitamin C is the ticket.
My doctor told me about a medical study published in the medical journals that taking 1200 ml of garlic actually cleared clogged arteries after one year of taking it.
And, if you very concerned, you could go see him. He has spent years studying clotting -- even wrote a book on it -- and recently published.
He's into alternative treatments first -- but, he is a doctor so he can perscribe things you need as well.
He looks at your blood live -- and does hair analysis -- not too far from San Diego (you only see him once a year -- and he will talk on the phone with any questions you have after initial visit).
You can PM me and I will give you his number if you ever watn. He told me about coconut oil too, but I already knew about it ...
hugs, life

Hi friski, i got this product GarLife by Nature's Resource at the grocery store, it is in a box, a blister pack. It's enteric coated survives the stomach acids.. breaks down further down along the way. Suggested of course for cardio-vascular health. You might want to take a look for it. High potency has 9000 mg of allicin, and what I really liked was has a bunch of B6 and b12 that is going to be delivered further on down the line .. if the B's make you feel sick to your stomach, this one won't. And I need B's I think we all do. and the garlic ought to do some good damage to the yeast further down the line as well. I like the enteric coating idea a lot. spec

Life - Hulda Clark also touts Vit C like it's imperative. Also at the very end of one of her first books she mentions another scientists lifes works and findings about L-Lysine. She includes it in her book not only to pay homage to him but because she believes it is also essential. I can't reference the gentleman's name at the moment, but I think when you have many experts all pointing to the same thing... we should take heed and listen up.

Life,
Your doctor sounds like a great guy. Does he have any theories or thoughts about Morgellons in general or about your symptoms in particular?
Thanks.
Just curious, AbbieNormal

I have used flaxseed oil for years and always had to have it on my food but recently ive been turning up my nose at it and wont eat it anymore whitch makes me think im probably getting way too much oil as it is and my body just doesnt want it anymore. I eat alot of nuts too and coconut also. Im way over the 100 percent daily allowance for saturated fat so im going to cut back at least for now. My friend told me they have these mobile vans that do heart screening or MRI or something for 100 bucks. id like to do that someday :-*Frisk

The name of the doctor that Hulda Clark probably referred to is Linus Pauling:
I tried to get his video, but couldn't so here is a site. Look around and watch the video he made -- cute old guy, but probably not your type Frisk -- unless......??
Yes, the doctor I refer to is an MD and clotting has been his research that he has put so much into. He is pretty amazing....
But, he tells me I"M THE EXPERT -- which, he said, was an ego thing that he can accept.
REally -- I think if any of us went to him -- he would justlearn more and more and be able to heal, heal, heal.
And not write a 150 buck book!!! -- maybe 15.00 hey!
PM me if you want, Frisk and I'll tell you about him. I don't want to put his name up -- protection -- you know....

Hi AbbieNormal~~
My doctor is a great guy indeed.
He does not know about MOrgellons, but he told me that I am one of 6 people that have come into his office with our symtoms.
It perplexes him -- that nothing he tried worked.
I told him about Morgellons and he is obviously asking around with his colleagues -- he associates with true healers only, I'm sure. His eyes were opened wide a looooooooooong time ago, which is why I went to see him years ago in the first place.
Anyway -- he goes for natural cures first -- but, can write a script as well being an MD. The amount of Folic Acid I take can only be gotten with a scipt -- the Thyriod meds, etc.
He has asked me for wamples -- he's like a little kid -- he wants so badly to see them! I tried putting garlic oil on my face, but when they came out they were all coated in garlic sohe couldn't tell.
If ANone wanted to send them wamples -- using my name of course so he would know your my friend -- both he and one of his nurses would love to see what we have.
I can't do it. I can't look. Seeing the bottom of my tub with thousands of 'flies' flapping around after my first seea salt bath freaked me out. I can't look.
But....... he would love to look at them -- maybe he could help us figure this out. He is very open to what I have to say.
He knows that patients teach too -- hey, nobody knows wht we have better than us...........

FRisky~~
You can't have fruit juice because? you're on a CAndida diet? or your allergic?
If you're on a candida diet, you can hav lemons, cranberries, green apples, and kiwi. very low sugar content in them all.
How about the Emergen-C packets? I put 3 at a time in a bottle of water and drink it that way. don't put it in a nearly full bottle of water, or when you shake it up.....
