Hi, I found this on another site. The author claims it gets rid of Morgellons symptoms over a period of a few months. Seems harmless, basically alternating salt and peroxide baths and natural remedies without rinsing afterward. They recommend the salt/vit c also. tinyurl.com/gokel

The H202 and salt baths are helpful. I always rinse off after any kind of bath. In the post from your link they mentioned opening your eyes under the water. That statement made me cringe and sent me on a hunt for safety precautions and here are a couple things I found. Please be careful. From Guardian of Eden on H202 ".........Hydrogen peroxide at 'any concentration' level should NEVER be used for a eye wash, for cleaning ears or as a nasal spray........." Documented case of self induced toxicity from H202 eyewash. cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=15978952 ... JJ

Can you give me the paper work on the prohibitive use of H²O² in ears and nose? I do this and need to know if I'm harming myself..I know that MDs recomend using it as an ear wash to remove built up ear wax. Now I'm confused. Thanks Orion.°°°

from that link ... thanks for the warning JJ but i think a few peroxide baths with eyes open wouldnt hurt as compared to --- "severe corneal and conjunctival toxicity from long-term, habitual use of hydrogen peroxide as an eye wash" (from the link's text)
i doubt i'd be going the opening of the eyes very much. if the peroxide baths last an extremely long long time, or if i had to do them for months and years on end.... then no i would not open my eyes on ever y exact occasion.
doing so would be the equivalent of this link's patient's case.
i think people should find a balance... and while it may rid the eye of infection.. i'd hope that you'd find that balance as well and not do it every time for extended periods of time over a long course of time ie: months years.... but do it as needed within reason according to these warnings AND the protocol.

runs out and stocks up on peroxide and sodium chloride...
edit: also .. from the text - "This is the first reported case of ocular surface toxicity in a patient after deliberate chronic use of high-dose hydrogen peroxide"
. just so you know... first case ever.\
also thats pure non-diluted hydrogen peroxide in that ladys eyes... not diluted mixture.. as this guy is saying... he's saying 4 or 5 sixteen oz bottles in a tub of water which is what... 15-20 gallons? i think thats a very small ratio compared to completely pure peroxide eye washing.
-M
p.s. ... even at such low dosage as that solutions ratio ..heh .. ill risk it. i dont think there is an existence yet fathomable worse than being called crazy when you're not, and having things crawl through your skin daily while trying to maintain "normalcy" in your life and appear alright to the outside world. lying to everyone etc... i'll risk it. i want this over with... or at least tolerable till i can function.
its a very low ratio of water / peroxide.

I have used hydrogen peroxide in my kids ears since they were born. A couple of drops when their ears bothered them. After a few trips to the doctor and being told that they had ear infections and perscribed strong antibiotics. I passd and used hydrogen peroxide. Never once did I put them on antibiotics and ears always cleared up. They are both strong and healthy as an ox. They are now 28 and 29 and they till use this method. I myself will do the same with my ears and I use a spray bottle for my nose. I have had good results. But that's just me. Laur

Hi Laur, Good to see you back on the board with all your usual good sound advice. I would use the hydrogen peroxide, as you say, for ears. I wouldn't open my eyes under the water - no matter what had been added as you just don't know what has come out of your body into the bath. Hannah

Orion, sorry I wasn't thurough and posted hastily out of concern. Loss of vision ranks up there as one of the most frightening and life inhibiting symptoms for me. Really don't want to disinform or confuse. The information I found came from here which sells 35% food grade ................ ............... www.dfwx.com/h2o2.html After further checking today I couldn't find anything else relating to the original quote and hazards at "any concentration". The only thing I could find relative to eyes was 1% concentration causing pain that subsided after about an hour. Concentration of 3% and above is where problems are more evident and easy to find. Thanks all for input. Orion & Laur, what concentration did/do you use? ... JJ

I do not remember what concentration H2O2 we used in the lab, but it was pretty high as we were digesting organic materials in soil so we could analyze the heavy metals there. I think it might have been the 35%. It would come tripple packed, the bottle in plastic bags to prevent the inevitable leakage.
One day I used paper towels to soak up the spills and threw them in the trash. When I turned back around, the trash can was on fire. This stuff is very oxidizing and in high concentrations will create combustion. Stay with the 3% and below for body use.

Upon further reading, it appears the author of the protocol has also been using the colloidal silver: tinyurl.com/jfkhoAnd it is mentioned elsewhere that the author was being treated with antibiotics and possibly antifungals from an MD as well. So it is unclear as to how much this protocol is responsible for the morgellons symptom abatement. Seems pretty harmless to me as long as you assume the hydrogen peroxide being dumped in the tub is the 3% from the drug store.
