One thing I've noticed is my hair growth is "not normal" and I don't mean the "odd" fibers, I mean my hair is growing like weeds, faster than is normal. That's something I've forgotten to ask you all about, because this has been actually remarkable in the sense of hair doesn't grow this fast.
One year ago, my hair was shoulder length, it's now at ( least )another foot longer, after I've cut it constantly, probably cut about 6-8 iches...but it keeps growing like weeds.
Anyone else notice this incredibly fast hair growth...not anywhere else, like legs, just on my head. Heck maybe it's the Ketoconazole cream spitzed on...??

Shaved my arms yesterday and will continue to keep them shaved. Couldn't bear looking at assorted lengths, assorted colors and decided from now on I'm keeping them shaved.
No more feeling something in my face is trying to pull my arm hair into facial lesions when lying down with face resting on hairy arm! Crazy crap. Should have shaved arms when I first rea, lized the hair wasn't normal.
I hate this disease.

Yes! My hair is growing at least twice as fast as it normally does- and at a time when I'm too poor to afford a haircut. It is growing more than an inch a month. I would have a lucious mane were it not for falling out in handfuls at all hours of the day. The same is true for eyebrows. And new face hair keeps getting long (unfortunate for a female.) I even have hair growing on the tip of my nose, long enough to pluck. Some of these hairs, when plucked out and placed under a microscope, are not hairs at all, and crawl like a worm to their neighbor, video to confirm. For all those dermatologists who say we have acne, I kindly wish them equal hairy abundance.

agree w/your wish in tokyo...i shave my head--and if it lets me get it clean, it's ready for another shave in minutes sometimes--depending onthe amount of activity coming from my ears--which have been a real bear for the last 13 mos or so
tonnie--dont even use that keto stuff and regrowth is almost immediate--and we know now that they are not for real hairs....
sidney--shave hairs now--all hairs--every where--even the head--it's the new look for the *new age morgellon's" woman!!!! am i faceous? hells bells yes--it's part of our entitlement!! but am i sincere? MOST DEFINATELY...opens up a whole new world of fashion w/scarves...and a whole new world of imagination when trying to figure what ELSE cane i use to change into a scarf?!!!

Heyjewde,
Why should I "not" use the ketoconazole??
I'm having great relief with it. I use it 2-3 X per week...and it stopped a "hair pulling" sensation I was having a year ago.
Also my black specks subsided to almost nil...but there's always one or two on my face here and there in the mornings...but before the keto cream...I looked like someone shook pepper on me.
And I've not seen the "weird hairs"...now my hair/and body which I know is full of electromagnetic energy for some reason...if that's what it's called. And my hair is actually a tad scarey how fast it's growing...I mean I'm shocked really.
I mean I could light a bulb it feels like. I register high on a volt meter. Wish someone else could try that and see too.
Well...thanks for your thoughts.

my arm hair is out of control...
has anyone (whomever has the funds available) ... full body laser removal??
waxing is one thing.. plucking another..
laser removal.. i'd like to hear from anyone who's done it.. or will do it.. and their experience months afterward with the sensations....
for me...
i have the abundant sensation of my skin "producing" webbing. meaning.. when times are harsh.. like now (full moon area of the month - past 2 weeks before full moon i hardly felt a thing! ) ....
when times are harsh.. i feel my skin squirting out smaller than hair size fibers... and they trickle down my face.
i'm coming to think that this is just some rapidly exhuded enxyme or protein chain ... and the crawling feelings are not "organisms" at all...
but merely a simliar sensation of organisms moving...
if my outer skin is euding fibrous material (spider silk anyone?) ... then whats going on below the surface?
same thing? one would lend themselves to thing that if your inner body's makeup was doing the same thing.. it would feel as if something is moving inside you. which is what we feel.
of course this flies in the face of what cheetah's been reporting.. and what tonie's been seeing...
but.. its a road we haven't traveled down very far thus far. the spider silk gene being activated by a virus.. that is..
and one would say that if your body is producing fibers naturally (hair) .. then a combinant result of producing hair AND spider silk protein ....
would leave you with wirey... baby-fine... type ... "hair"...
just a few thoughts..thats all.
another thing... when i get into the bathroom and the shower's been on... and the bathroom is filled with mist... my thighs start itching like crazy where i've had my rash...
almost as if whatever's there.. WANTS water.
then of course when i get in the shower .. as usual.. and after.. my thighs itch 10x worse.
but i just noticed it the other day.. that they started itching... WHEN there was high humidity in the air.. ie .. shower steam.

Prevenge,
When I come near a water leak like under a kitchen sink or moldy drywall I get like a tingly feeling usually on my legs. It is kind of like pins & needles after your foot or hand falls asleep.
I think mine might be different than yours, I don't get the feeling around all water, thank God!
This is one crazy ass whatever it is!!!
Take Care

I keep my body shaved and face waxed as much as I can take off. My son when he had this shaved his whole body and got a very close haircut. He was much more comfortable after. He kept this up about six months or so then let the hair grow back after that.
He has been symptom free for a yr and a half....

Prevenge,
I know some who've had the electrolysis, "hair removal" by laser...it's very painful and very expensive too. Plus it has to be done several times..as the follicles don't always die the first go around..sometimes takes a few treatments to do that. And if successful...you never will grow hair again, as it destroys the follicles permanently.
And what you said about "water"! Oh that IS exactly what I've been noticing. They DO love water. The lesions on my face, which are where I've got the families of these suckers, (GAZILLIONS) I'm seeing that when these "things/devils" get to a particular maturation stage, when you take water on your hands/fingers and continually pat pat pat a lesion with water too....oh...they come floating up out of the lesions!
Eggs...and "things"..is what it appears to be. Globby looking little whitish things come out. Almost to give you and idea of what I mean is like little 'clouds' and boy does that sound 'retarded' but I hope that describes them to where you know what I mean. I don't know what they are for sure, actually at all. I can see them, but can't identify them.
I've found that patting continually with water, then applying an antimicrobial gel...like a waterless hand santizer (sold in any store) works well too.
The "problem" is there seems to be zillions of these under the skin....from everything I can see.
But...getting them out is - I think a good thing.
Sid had mentioned these may be from a water source, and that maybe very true, because I am seeing too they love water.

Tonie, I call it my instant hair. I can put almost anything on my face; a cream, salve, lotion, etc, and it seems to me I have instant hair. I keep my arms shaved because of my parrot. With hair on my arms, it's like my parrot tries to preen me. She will pull the hair out and then keeps going at my skin like she is trying to get something out. If I try to stop her, she gets mad and bites me. I think she probably knows more than most of the doctors I have seen.
Prevenge, Any idea on how much a laser removal procedure would cost? (or life time of Bic's) Sounds like a good idea. You wouldn't do your head , would you?

How Much Does Electrolysis Cost?
Electrolysis usually costs about $25 to $150 an hour for treatment (some pay even more, some less). You should plan on spending $25 to $250 a week (some pay even more, some less), tapering off over time, with a total cost to clear a face between $2,000 and $20,000 (some pay even more, some less). Many variables also affect this.
((Copied from a link on hair removal. It takes years with continous treatment sometimes too to finally destroy the follicle.))

JBB,
That IS incredible about the lotions and your hair growth. Someone along the line had said to me, which doesn't sound that far out there with your experience with lotions and hair growth...that what if this was a "hair growth experiment gone awry"?
Something else I have to say...
Last Oct 05, my hair was shoulder length.
Right now my hair reaches below my bra strap in the back..
Now for those of you that have seen me with my hair shoulder length from just a year ago...ISN'T that incredible, and I have cut approx 2 inches off my hair every other month!
Now...here's the other thing..none of my hairs seem weird...they look and feel just like regular (normal) hair.
I don't get it...this whole thing is beyond frightening...but I blow anyone away that knows me and sees my hair growth because this IS not normal hair growth.

Yes. I saw my roots, which have become newly blackish, were in need of a dye job, so I did that job Christmas eve. 10 days later, on Jan. 5, the roots were approaching 1 cm. and I had to dye again! I thought I'd been using a lot of boxes of dye, but now that I noticed the dates, its ridiculous. Also could not keep my bangs out of my eyes no matter how often I trimmed them. A few weeks ago I cut them really really short, and they aren't growing as agressively since then. I've grown my hair long so I can keep it tied back.

Yes, I noticed years ago, before I had heard of morgellons, the hair on my butt was weird, and I was finding fibers that looked like head hairs, so I thought I had a pilonidal cyst, which is a cyst under one's tailbone that involves hairs. But sometimes, on the toilet I feel a, like Prevenge said, squirting sensation, and looked and this big headhair looking fiber had come out. Weird. Plus, just all the hair on my *ss is weird and in my crack, I have short bristly hairs that I didn't used to have. And the hair on my legs is different, bare places I didn't used to have. And if I don't shave my legs for awhile, (I know) it stands on end in stormy, tornado-ey weather and feels electrified.
