HI Everyone~~ I just viewed this on Dr. Mercola's site. It seems aspartame is extremely effective in killing even fire ants. I wonder if it would help out in our environments as well. Just a thought. What do you think? Has anyone tried this? After all, it is a pesticide. www.mercola.com/blog/2006/aug/23/got_an_ant_problem_use_aspartamelife

Hi Life,
Very interesting, thank you...and I'm with Heyjewde saying, "nothing is too far off the wall to check out". I wonder how these "little devils" would like it applied topically.

Hi HeyJewde and Tonie~~
I was thinking about the people that say they have them in their homes -- in drawers and under counters and such.
Also, I was thinking about how boric acid gets rid of cockroaches. Its basically the same thing; they get it on them, go back to their nest, die, and the others eat them.
Putting it on topically -- since it IS a poison -- should be tried in small areas, don't you think? -- the skin absorbs whatever we put onto it. I've noticed, that when I use something that 'works' on one area, other areas react as well. -- like the HeavenlyHands stuff.
Great ideas! Thinking out-of-the-box! Using it topically. I guess I'm back to the store to buy some packets and try it.
I wonder if it was mixed with the flour and H2O? Or use it first, and then the flour and H2O to 'pull' things, including the poison, back out?
hugs to you both, life

Just think that I used to drink the soda that was sweetened with this stuff. That must have done wonders for my immune system. Where the hey was the FDA on that.

I experienced a rather dramatic reaction, shall we say, when I ate a tin of IceBreakers- those sour fruit mints. They have several odd kinds of sugars. For 4 days straight, my whole digestive system felt tight as a balloon. It definately had an effect. And afterwards, my morgellons felt better! Who knows. I always eat those now. Some sugars are not able to be digested by bacteria- meaning, bacteria eat them, and then die. I hadn't heard the thing about aspartame and cockroaches! Anything is worth a try.
