Coz,
Thank you again for your great efforts, much much appreciated!
And Erika, thank you, yes, that list I'll take care of. And any other you may find, very happy to, thank YOU much too!
I wanted and asked Jose from the Fox 4 news about if his wife Kathy was experiencing "things" that many of us are too...such as "besides" the (bug parts) and yes, she is. He and I both agree that the term "Morgellons" may as we're using it, include all the facets, I suppose it depends of who's listening.
But I asked him If I can post this email he'd written me, on LymeBusters here, and he said yes...so I only wanted to to help those who might not understand that the bugs, as well as the fibers, and the lyme disease really are this entire ball of wax that we're experiencing, maybe some have more of one thing than another, but we've all seemed to have something of the list that this "contamination" carries.
Here's Jose's reply (he and his wife Kathy were on the Fox 7 news broadcast.)
He's like all of us, in that his heart is exactly the same way, anything "any of us" can do or anything we can use to "promote" exposure any which way possible is welcome and needed.
__________________________________________________ Hey Susan, you can take whatever part of my email... edit it... and post it or use it anyway you see fit. None of this is private. If it helps someone else then thats wonderful too. Regards, Jose
Susan, This is Kathy's husband replying. As to your question on fibers and black specs, here's a breakdown on that: The pathogens that come out of her body (by that I mean, skin, nasal passages, mouth, scalp, stool...) is largely bugs or bug parts. She's had flies, springtails, nymphs, worms, eggs... and a variety of bits and pieces of insects.... heads, legs, wings, and bug skin. She also produces specks. These are mostly roundish. Colors are white, grey, black, brown, and reddish. These she finds in her inner clothing, in her bedding where she sleeps, but also throughout the house like inside drawers, under the bed, in corners of the room, and on the floor in general. I keep saying "she"... but truth is we've been finding some of this same stuff where I sleep as well. So, it's likely that I'm infected too... just having different outward symptoms. As to fibers, she doesn't have the type that morgellons patients describe. But, under the microscope, we do see fibers wrapped around bugs, or just as fiber balls of all different colors. Black, red, bright blue, etc. She is more concerned about the parasites than about the fibers. These bugs are everywhere inside her. Probably in her lungs and maybe in her brain? It's a minute by minute battle. She is taking (and me too) pretty much everything that's available to kill off these parasites. Good luck with your writing to the health departments. I hope you get a better response than we did. Yes, they came out and investigated, and seemed concerned, and all that. But, end result is that they really haven't done much at all as far as we're concerned. Maybe they added Kathy's case to their growing number of data. Maybe someday the sheer number of cases will force a real investigation by the CDC etc. But, I'm not holding my breath. We have to fight this thing as if we were on our own. Which, you'll probably agree we are on our own except for fellow sufferers. Jose

first of all I'd like to thank you tonie for all your help and effort this is going to take alot of people like you to get to the bottom of this!!!!! I live in cc tx, nueces county and no one here is talking about this. even after I've called just about everyone that I could to let them know that it is here. last week I went to walmart and saw a mother and daughter with sores like pimple all over their body. I kindly ask if I could ask them about their skin condition. and the mom told me that it was a flesh eating bacteria also call morgellons said the doctors knew about this but nothing seem to help them. So I'm not the only one here with this but yet no one talks about this and informs other that this is out there. On the news here lately they keep telling everyone how important it is to wash your hands. I e-mailed the t v station and told them that if its morgellon no matter how much you wash your hands you still won't get rid of this! still no news about this or mention of morgellons here in nueces county.

I have been receiving several responses (4 so far) from the health directors that I emailed last week.. !!! I am shocked.. One of which, Va Department of Health responded with a letter about Morgellons.. It was an attachment and obviously sent to someone else prior..no where in my email to him (the one toni wrote) did it mention the term Morgellons! So he's aware.. keep on!!!! yeah!!!!

Laylo,
Thank you, and yes, the more we "reach out" the better our chances...I feel anyways...we must not keep all that is going on any longer amongst ourselves, or it stays amongst ourselves.
That's the thought anyways. Reach out, public awareness, and then hopefully we topple that wall that keeps "our medical society" and us separated.
And I sent a zillion places in your state of Texas the news 7 broadcast with the letter.
Also, one biggie there in Texas too I wrote was to was David Lakely. He is the commissioner of the state for health services.
I'm not sure what county you're in, but if you're close to Houston, also the regional Medical Director - Bethany Ferrell is also aware of this.
I first hit the main health people, beginning with the state top dogs, then the administrations for the counties.
They've all received the letters. If you were to call even anonomously, and say something to the effect of that you have this, and you'd like to talk with any of them, and what are you suppose to do...they may reply differently...or they may say something about CDC...I don't know. But hopefully soon by pressing all the health depts as we are, someone is calling CDC and asking what the heck are they to do.
That's where we hope and pray that these people that receive the letters DO their jobs, and call the CDC, even if they don't get any where it will be logged that so and so health dept called in to the CDC, because "they" are responsible for keeping up to speed with what might be a communicable spreading of anything.

perhaps there should be a "call to action" in the email that is sent.. about what we need and expect these health officials to do.. i.e. pass this on to those that can help, put me in touch with whomever else i need to be in touch with, contact Dan at the CDC..etc.
i responded to a couple of emails and said, "if you do nothing else, at least, please please contact the CDC.. and follow up with the CDC later on.. that they have promised on national television to investigate many many times in the past year and are once again yanking our chain."

Erika,
I agree. And thanks. Everything can always be improved.
I thought about that yesterday, something on the same line as you're saying.
We also need something to let them know that when "we" call upon them, "the health dept" we are told they know nothing, and when we go to our doctors, we are told the same, they know nothing.
And when CDC is called upon by us either by mail or phone, we're then written back or told to call our doctors or health departments.
And "between you and me" it's nothing but a giant circle we're all run around, which we all know.
So someone must be let known that this circle isn't cuttin it...and we must have some place or someone for us to be able to call...because as it is...there is absolutely no one, ( I mean we know this, but "they" need to know it more) So that needs stressed in the letter as you're saying.
Very important, cause everyone is passing the buck and we're left to hang out to dry.
So thanks for pointing that out, by you saying what you did, that really confirms it for me.

Just saw on my emails, another good reply:
Thank you for contacting Galveston County Health District regarding this concern. At present time the Health District has not received any documented cases of the parasite infecting our resident. My role as an epidemiologist is to investigate all state notifiable conditions/diseases and report them to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Please know that this concern will be passed onto Texas Department of State Health Services. Again, thank you for contacting us.
