This is my 5th day of taking a week off of Cumanda and Samento -- to give my gody a break.
Things are continuing to dry up, so it either stays in the system for a longer period of time than I thought, or it has kicked in my body's own defense mechanism somehow and that is still working on its own, or?
Which ever it is, I'm still pulling dried up ones off my skin, and dark areas are still fading.
I did add extra strength ionized copper and extra strength ionized 'Water of Life' (their general minerals mix made from clay) to my morning smoothie two days ago -- 1 T. of each. Both are from Water Oz.
I also am trying 4 Arnica sub-linguals every couple of days and have been putting Traumeel cream on the gnarly one on my cheek @ bedtime -- seems to be helping inflamation.

Hi Maf~~ Was just about to go to bed when I read your post. Here is a link to Green Pharmacy -- they have a Q & A section (you may have to scroll down to see it) on their Cumanda page. www.thegreenpharmacy.com/shop/?product=259Check it out. Dr. Cowden says to take the Cumanda with either the Quina or the Samento (depending on whether the patient has Babesiosis or not) while building up to the 20 drops per day, then start to switch out: 12 1/2 days on one, 1 1/2 days rest and switch to 12 1/2 days on, and 1 1/2 rest, ans switch back. The Green Pharmacy Q & A offers answers to questions, and its interesting to see the answers, which differ slightly with each individual's case. They say things like take the Cumanda in the morning and the Samento in the evening sometimes. See what you think. AND!!!!! I'm so, SO elated about the effects you are having. Wait until you can sleep through the night. It is pure heaven! Thanks for watching for the greenish tinge -- mine didn't start showing up until the second or 3rd week (if I rmember correctly). hugs and sweet, uninterupted dreams, life

I have taken a week off the Cumanda. I ran out and reordered, but I also wanted to see what symptoms would return.
At first the urinary incontinence started to come back but it has toned down again. I can actually fire up the computer, lying in bed for 10 min. or so in the AM before I need to get up to pee. The pee used to drive me out of bed first thing. Hardly any middle of the night pee. No pee with sneezing. Still some pee with big cough.
Skin and follicles all over body much better. My face has cleared so much, if you didn't know about Morgs, you would think I had a very light case of acne on one cheek.
The agrivating symptom of scratchy, itchy eyelids has completely gone. I am having only a little eye watering. My eyes used to bother me on waking with being so scratchy. This symptom is gone. Yay!!
Sores behind ears and on scalp gone or healing. Skin opn back is still ejecting particles/fuzz-balls but no lesions.

Hi BeLikeWater~~
I've been off the Cumanda and Samento for 7 days now, and I'm finding the same results as you.
My eyes are great -- they seem to have stabilized. No itching, no grains coming out, eyelashes are thickening in, no pain behind my eyes, and no floaters.
The lesions are still healing up slowly, slowly. I did have one return on the small of my back where I had a cluster of them. Also, my forehead has remained clear.
Two on my hand are almost gone this week and the ones on my legs are continuing to regress. They are mostly dark, raised areas now. The two on my butte are almost gone as well.
Also, I still have very few white lint things floating off of me anymore -- I used to look like Pig-Pen. It was most noticeable in my car, driving to work mornings. That has not come back either.
I have very few specks on my sheets when I wake up, or on my kitchen floor. I had to go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond for a couple of things last night. I noticed a couple of new 'pimples' on my thighs last night after being in their store -- they were not there by this morning.
My incontinence is still holding, although a bit set back in that I have to go as soon as I get home whereas I was at the point where I could be home for a couple of hours before I needed to go.
My fingernails are still almost completely white, just a line of pink showing along the ends. I am still wondering if this is a classic renal issue sign, or the Cumanda/Samento 'pushing' it to the surface. Haven't a clue.
Hugs, life

I have found the tiredness I got from the Cumanda to be mostly aleviated by going back on the salt vit/c. I hope my new order of Cumanda is here tomorrow. I am ready to start it again. Hugs to you, Life. Your recommends are ones I take to heart thanks for your posts.

Cumanda came today. Also new order of Eco-vie enzymes. I am taking the Cumanda, 10 drops, 2x per day. I also am taking the Enur-aid anti urinary incontinence homeopathic combo by Hyland's. I find these two work really well together for the pee-pee dribbles. I am eager to get back to where I was a week ago.
I just want to put in a plug for the Eco-chem /Eco-vie folks. $29 canadian for a liter of concentrate. Best deal out there by far. And they've been selling and talking to Morgies since before 1998. Judy is an angel.

Hi Erika~~
Thanks for the compliment -- I had no idea when I started the Cumanda thread that it would make such a difference for others. Its working for me; that is most certain.
When you posted, you were starting with a few drops of Cumanda and working your way up.
Where are you at now?
Have you noticed anything -- any changes in your conditions?
Hugs, life
and.... thank you for the Blessings!

i did start it for about a week and got up to 10 drops 2x a day.. nothing too high and i noticed a big decrease in my itchies.
I have stopped it for the time being because i went to go see a doctor and am trying out some other things to see how they play out.. i didn't want to be trying 2 "cures" at the same time. Need to keep results separate.
If this doesn't work, i'll be right back on the bandwagon cause i DID notice a big difference with the crawlies!!! By far the BEST results i have had.. and perhaps, will ever have.

From a Yahoo group Lyme newsletter on Samento, Cumanda, and Burbur: www.prweb.com/releases/2007/3/prweb512323.htm Clinical Study Tests Herbal Protocol for Effectiveness in Treatment of Chronic Lyme Disease; Successful Protocol Interests Doctors and Lyme Patients Seeking Alternatives to Antibiotics Clinical trial underway to test effectiveness of specific herbal protocol in the treatment of Lyme Disease. Herbs under scrutiny are Samento, Cumanda and Burbur. Lyme-literate physicians and study director discuss the protocol's success. Study interests doctors and Lyme patients seeking successful alternatives to the use of orthodox antibiotics. Asheville, NC (PRWEB) March 19, 2007 -- A year-long clinical study is underway to test the effectiveness of an herbal protocol in the treatment of Chronic Lyme disease. Samento, Cumanda and Burbur are under scrutiny, herbs that have long been used in South America in the treatment of malaria and other serious diseases. Study results are encouraging to Lyme experts and patients seeking safe alternatives to conventional medicine. According to the study director, pharmacist Philip Kielman of the Netherlands, the twelve week preliminary report shows a sixty five percent reduction in symptoms in the treatment group, and a twenty percent reduction in symptoms in the placebo group. "I think that's great," says Kielman, noting that conventional pharmaceutical drugs are often approved with a treatment group success rate of only thirty percent. Physician and medical researcher Wm. Lee Cowden uses Samento to treat patients diagnosed with Lyme disease, and has refined his protocol by adding Cumanda, Burbur and other herbs. Dr. Cowden says the herbs used in his protocol are available through Nutramedix, which imports them directly from Peru to the US and the UK. Jean Reist, RN, of Pennsylvania, recommends that her patients who have been diagnosed with Lyme use Burbur to encourage lymph drainage, which, she explains, is "critical for healing from Lyme disease." Dr Andrew Wright of the UK, has used Samento to treat over five hundred patients diagnosed with Chronic Lyme disease. "Samento is safe and well-tolerated in most patients," he says. LDRD offers two tiers of service: 1) Free basic information about the disease for visitors to the web site 2) Membership to the website. Members gain access to Conversations with Experts, a unique audio interview series in which Lyme disease experts discuss all aspects of the illness, including diagnosis, prevention and treatment. Private health and wellness advocates have been gathering information on conventional and integrative approaches to heal from Lyme disease since 2005. ### To access the following releases by this same member, click here: www.lyme-disease-research-database.com/lyme_disease_research_press.html Lyme Experts Discuss Alternatives to Antibiotics for Treatment of Lyme Disease on Interview Series 2006-12-18 Healthy Survivor of Lyme Disease Discusses Successful Therapy on Lyme Research Interview Series 2006-11-09 Naturopath Discusses the Role of Stress in Lyme Disease in Interview Series 2006-09-25 Lyme Disease Researchers Announce Audio Interview Series with Lyme Experts 2006-09-13 Documentary Filmmaker Discusses his New Film About Lyme as Part of "Lyme Experts" Interview Series 2006-09-08

ninth or tenth day on the cumanda... 15d 2x day... feeling better with each day... more alert... clear sinuses... less fatigue... probably the best single treatment item i have taken for this...
am planning to add the samento and burber next week... i didn't realize burber encourages lymph drainage... if that is true, then that would be a great thing... in the past i have noticed that on warm days when active outside... sweating, running, moving, etc... i feel so much better... so i think that anything that will help the lymphatics flow and circulate better would be good...

Erica -- I hope that what your doctor has you try helps! I agree with you, I too think its best not to try two 'cures' at the same time. Others like to hit it with all they've got -- but, I like to know what is doing what.
Best of health to you, my dear.

Hi Maf~~
This is amazing! I wonder if Cumanda kills staph. I've been looking around to see, but haven't found anything yet, but I find it interesting about clearing the sinuses, since staph lives in our sinuses. I have been told that I have two kinds of staph.
Just thoughts.....
Keep us posted on how you're doing.

03.27.07
After nine weeks on Cumanda, adding Samento the last two, I decided to give my body a break.
I took ten days off of everything except the Burbur.
By the tenth day, my ears were starting to have a bit of itchiness in one and just a tad of popping in the other.
The last day off, there was a surge in what felt like stings and bites -- not too bad, and I wonder if they were coming from within me, or from without me.
A mild case of floaters came back -- actually this morning after taking the Cumanda is when I noticed them, so perhaps its right back to pushing them up and out again.
I started back up @ 20 drops -- had my first headache from it, so took the Burbur and it went away.
While I was off for those ten days, the lesions on my legs continued to heal up as well as my right hand.
The only thing I did differently during those ten days was to add extra strength Copper and Water of Life minerals from WaterOz to my morning smoothie. I started with 1 T. each and bumped it up over the weekend to 2 T. each.
My hair was kind of kinky at the nap of my neck and that has all but disappeared, which I've learned in the past is from the Copper. I'm hoping the Copper will help with my pre-mature graying hair and the loss of collagen -- I believe its instrumental for both. Hope so.

Hi Admin~~
Thanks so much for putting up all that info for us.
I have spent well over $40,000 trying different things and seeing different doctors and this, along with just a couple of other things I've done, has been the most beneficial to me.
And it seems relatively safe to use!

hi .. my hubby and I have had this skin itch +++++ for about 6 months. the GP is at a loss I have tried a few things but am very limited in what I can take. I tried the silver but that made my bowel bleed but hubby is taking it. I used to take 'cats claw' all the time for my arthritis but with all the other things had stopped it! I am now boiling up another batch for us and will be getting that into us very quickly ... next pension day I will get some cumanda and then each f/n add the sumento and burber. we may not have Lymmes ... i took the cat to the vet as she too had a skin issue also and has been treated with ivomectin! with another two doses each f/n from now. i am totally into natural medicine (being unable to take chemicals) and was so pleased to find that I had something in the cupboard I could take immediately .. thank you for this information. i started on the salt / vit C about 3 days ago and will keep that up until I can get the cumanda.
