Hi tonie,
I have "track marks" visible underneath my skin coming from my temples and forehead directly to my eyes. When they come to the surface and the "pods" burst, the sensation feels like a sharp needle is being stuck right into my eyeball. And when it happens....... it makes me jump outta my skin every time!
Also, like laylo said....... on the inside skin that outlines the eye (where the hair doesn't grow) mine look like a chain of tiny crystals have become embedded with the fluid of the eye and they seem to produce the granules. It's very strange and I've had a hold of the end of it several times, but it's in there like it's become a part of my eye and there's no way it's gonna come out. I also have a "bump" in the center of my right eyelid and one at the outside corner of my left eye. My vision seems to be compromised quite a bit at certain times....... it's like a film begins to cover them and they become sore and very tender.
So there ya go tonie....... that's my eye biography!
hugs ~~ bannanny

hi toni, my night of horror with the eye pain was severe stabbing pains on my eyelids - felt like the back of my eye. I was awake all night and went to emergency services in the morning. I spent five hours there - saw two nurses and the doctor twice. That was when the doctor told me to bathe my eyes with the baby shampoo - she put drops in my eye at the hospital and these helped but she explained that these were only lubricant.
I'm waiting to see a specialist regarding my deteriorating vision - like bannanny says this can come and go a bit but always problematic. I had two small bumps at the corner of each eye for a long time but they have gone. Think the grapefruit seed and aloe vera gel rubbed in regularly gradually eased them out.
My eyes are very dull and red rimmed.

Yes, stabbing pains. Not real bad, but yeah, it happens. I have eye problems, but I can't tell what is morgellons or what is just me, as I wore glasses since 5th grade and then got lasik surgery. My eyes got red and my eyebrows twicted alot, it wouldn't go away till I did the fenben. Parasitcal meds help me the most. But I have not really tried the herbs much. Just don't have a good health store in my little town.

My goodness, that is horrible, and yes...I know just what you all mean exactly!
I was speaking with someone this morning about that amoeba which is on the other thread, and he said it that would give severe pain in the eye.
I had all the same symptoms too that you're all mentioning. The little tiny crystal looking things on the lower lid, they were almost like sinking into the tissue of the lid and the baby shampoo has gotten rid of all that and my blurry vision and yep...the real fast shaking eyes, if you know what I mean. The little crystal soft things on the lower lid, I bought some "Refresh PM", it's an "eye goop" stuff...like vaseline-ish sort of grease in a tiny tube, and I took one of those q-tips that are pointed, not rounded ones, and put the refresh PM on it, and swiped the inside of the lid, and it worked to remove those "things" that were stuck on.
Then since sudsing up my face with baby shampoo and water, I keep my eyes open when I rinse, the baby shampoo does not burn, and that gently washes out my eyes too...and no more eye problems at all. Use to also have that looooong stringy stuff come out, and very scratchy eyeballs too.
I sure hope this might help you.

My vision has been compromised too, but I've managed to get the eye problem under control. I believe it is imperative to jump all over this to save your vision.
Zapping got them out from behind my eyes. It was excruciating to experience them "jerking" their way to the front, but they wanted out when I began zapping in bed at bedtime for an hour. I did build up slowly over several months, but then went for it.
Putting vaseline on your eyelids will loosen "them" up, then use a tissue to rub "them" out and toss that tissue in the toilet.
Use colloidial silver mixed in eye drops daily, as a part of your routine. I try to do this after showering.

i have had nearly perfect vision my whole life. the last few years it has deteriorated badly. i now have lots of floaties and blurred vision, it is the main reason i did the radical step of buying a zapper, it has helped a little.
how do you use the zapper becky to help your eyes
i feel morgellons has something to do with my poor vision.

Tonie I forgot to mention that my left eye is the one that gives me the most problem. sometimes I can't see no matter what then it goes away. I've notice that the left eye lid above eyebrow I got this big wrinkle lots of presure there and at the eye lid it feels like something is pulling. if I get some vaseline with a q-tip I can get them to come out. a bunch and it releifs the presure must of the time.

Hi Toni! Have had many things/symptoms going on, all at different times for awhile now. Just recently(to add to the of on-going problems) eyes have started giving me problems, mostly right eye, it started out with swelling, floaters and blurred vision to were I could not see, then just the other night it (right eye) had the most horrifying pain - it was so painful that I seriously thought about going to the ER, it felt like a pencil or something sharp had been stabbed thru the eyeball. The pain only lasted a few hours but get the swelling and floater/blurry on and off every few days!
Thank you to everyone for all the suggestions. Going to give them a try!
Take care, Patti2

My eye symptoms started 2 1/2 yrs. ago with sharp stabbing pains in my eyes (one day L eye, next day R eye, etc.) The pain was so sudden, severe, and shocking that I was glad I wasn't driving because I was screaming and my eyes teared up so bad I couldn't see for about 15 min. The stabbing pain (ice pick) lasted far too long and I knew at that time there was something seriously wrong. I didn't know what, couldn't see what, but I knew it would be just a matter of time before it would come to light what was going on. It started with the pain, then later with organisms INSIDE my iris area AND laying on top of my eyeball's outer layer, visible by getting the light just right. I have a picture that shows definitely a clear organism, shaped differently than the ones that lay flat and almost invisible on our skin, but still retains enough of the unique features of it to impress me as the same bug. My eyes get a little "shake", or tweak when I try to focus to hard (which is all the time because my eyesight has deteriorated 50% since this began. I cannot read WITH my glasses sometimes. I have to go to the doctor soon. I wonder how much he sees morgellons problems. I thought that it would be good to anonymously, off the record to interview some eye doctors, because I think eyesight is one of the main symptoms. Has been for me. Also, I have this wierd thing inside the lower lids; inside the outer corner's it looks like a lesion where some of the tiny gooey like ones come from. Sometimes within the tissue there is clear, gell filled tiny balls, bb sized. I also have, under the skin of my face, an organism wrapped around each eye and into one cheek. I realize those of you who do not know about the big ones inside might be apalled by this, but I can assure you, these organism's can get quite large and these are the ones making our skin break out. They are in the lymph area, get intertwined in our fat and tissue, and lay eggs. When you get the wierd "goosebumps" that is when they are laying their eggs, I THINK. I do know that they can cover a whole area, like an upper arm, or 1/2 of an upper thigh. Anyway these are also under my scalp, chest, face, arms, legs. I can identify exactly where the beasts are by poking with my fingernail (not too hard, but long enough to get this reaction, sometimes 4-5 min.) and wait until my finger starts burning, sometimes on fire when I hold it too long. It is the bug fighting me off. Try this somewhere you suspect you have an organism. The key is to use the relatively sharpish edge of your nail to rouse their defense. You can do it on your scalp, your arm, anywhere. Let me know if anyone gets this reaction (and YES, I got it from around my eyes). vjacobs@socal.rr.com Take care, Victoria

That is soooo horrible, I'm sorry you have such great pain in your eye. I really hope that goes away right now for you.
Yesterday I think it was, I'd written to this guy, "just to find out really anything, and I was keeping it light, cause I was on the "ancanthamoeba" trail....so he's in that field...so here's what he had to say back in our "emails".

Dear Jerry Y. Niederkorn, Ph.D.,
I would like to ask you for your help/opinion. I believe I am infected with this "ancanthamoeba".
I can go into alot more of the symptoms etc, the appearance of this "parasite" if you'll allow me.
Please let me know if you might take a look at my specimens, after I explain what they look like if you're interested.
I need your expertise please.
Thank you,
Susan //////// ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Susan:
If you are concerned about your health and the possibility that you have Acanthamoeba keratitis, I urge you to see an ophthalmologist immediately. If you have this infection you would have exquisite pain. Let me know if you need assistance in finding the name of an ophthalmologist in your area. I hope that you seek medical advice promptly.
Sincerely,
Jerry Y. Niederkorn, Ph.D. The George A. and Nancy P. Shutt Professor Director of Ophthalmic Research Departments of Ophthalmology and Microbiology U.T. Southwestern Medical Center Dallas, TX 75390-9057 Phone: 214-648-3829 Fax: 214-648-9061

Dear Jerry Niederkorn Ph.D.
May I ask one last thing, regarding "ancanthamoeba" and "exquisite eye pain" as you've said, that is as though a "knife, or severely sharp pain" exists?
Thank you, Susan ////////

An unbelievable pain that is unlike anything you have experience before!

My experiences with the eye pain are very similiar to Victoria's and bannany's. I have the "web" that goes from the temples down beside the eyes and surrounds the eyes. There are brown circles about every 1 1/2 inches, along the way. They go to the nose and to the corners of the mouth, as well. The only different thing I have to add, is on 2 different occasions, I was talking to 2 different relatives who were several feet away. They both did exactly the same thing. They were talking, looking at me and they both screamed suddenly, grabbed their eye and said it was like an arrow shot in their eye and the other said it was like a dart. I really wonder what the *%##@# this is that can form these clouds and pierce the eye. Is that one way it invades our bodies? I hate for people to be in my home, now. I loved having friends and family over, but I would hate for anyone to get this from me. Also, many U shaped lines, slightly raised. Paint a real pretty picture?

victoria, I know exactly what you mean. These things definitely feel as if they are reproducing and there are big queens laying eggs. I had one in my forehead that felt like it was literally drilling into my skull. The other one has been in my hip. Another in my chest. They are extremely agressive. I also have the white egg looking things just under my eyes along the side of my nose. I also have been experiencing the twitching on my lower lids. How it is that anyone hasn't noticed the twitching is beyond me.
That is probably the most aggravating thing of all, that my own family in a year of dealing with this hasn't even made enough time to spend with me to notice this. I get my support from strangers than my own mom and sis.

Gertie, that's really something, how both their eyes felt that. This is so weird, and frightening how we are not yet with help.
Mosco, I can relate. I think lots can too. No one can understand the severity of this like us that have it do. Sometimes I think people that don't have this, but we know do care about us, just are deeply in fear for us too, but they don't express that, they seem as though nothing is wrong, but I think that's just maybe their way to deal with this too.

Jody,
Does your eye dryness "alternate"? Like first the right eye will be really irritated, then you think..oh, this is good. Then only moments later the right eye stays good/with relief, but then the left eye becomes painful or dry?
