i had my annuall GYN appointment today and my doctor told me about a machine thats an alternativee to a mamagram. Its called a HALO machine that actually sucks cells out of your breasts, then they send it out to the lab much like a papsmear, actually is a pap smear for the breasts. It can detect cancer up to 7 years before a mamogram! When she told me it sucked the nipples for 5 minutes I was like WOW I bet that feels good! But mainly I did it to make sure my breasts are ok. They were swollen and hurting for a month straight but seem back to normal now. Anyway she brings this machine in and attaches both breast pumps on both my breasts at the same time and the thing felt like aligater clips on my nipples,(not that i know what they would feellike!) it was kind of painful and not fun at all! It was a five minute test. Less painful than a mamogram though and Im glad I did it . No discharge was found so they consider that a negative test so Im releived. i recommendd it from what I know about it. My insurance didnt cover it ,it was 95.00. One more thing.....they have you wipe your nipples with alcohol first and they also have a disposible latex like sheet between your breast and the machine so you dont need to worry about infecting the machine

Thanks Friski...that's good info. In my last few months of torture my titties have been swollen, mid-cycle mind you and very sensitive to the touch. But I know this is cancer for me. At the onset of my disease you wouldn't know it but three years later I so feel like this is what I'm fighting right now...it took two years from the onset to really see the signs of cancer. Have you heard about that inflammatory breast cancer? I couldn't believe our people weren't totally shocked about that cancerous definition of our disease...it's got Morgellons written all over it. Some people it's noticed as little like bug bites on the boob that gets treated as an allergic reaction!?! www.ibcresearch.org/symptoms/ibcskinmets.htmI don't need that HALO...I've got my own !!!

Carrie Why do you think you have cancer? Have you been to a doctor? Do you drink milk with thAT BOVIN GOWTH HOROMONE? The reason I ask is because I was drinking allot of starbuck lattes the past month when my breasts got swollen and painful and I have a suspition it may be the milk. ive stopped going there and my breasts are back to normal now. They use that growth horomone to stimulate more milk production in cows so i wonder what it does to people? Normally my breasts only swell a few days before my period. My gyn said it could be the extra caffeine

thank you friski for that!! although i have never had a mammogram nor heard of this "Halo" test....i had noticed that mine got heavier, still small, but very dense and heavy feeling....(just like the rest of me) for just over a year, of being infected 20 months now.... though now, after doing the alkaline for the last approx 6 mos, they feel normal again realizing this "normalcy" in the last 2 mos. yeahhhhhhhhhh! good nite friski and all!

Friskie - Coffee is a big offender in causing fibrocystic breasts - not like cancer at all - but not good. Search it on the net and see the other foods that cause them.
Liatris PS coffee is bad for lots of reasons.

Yes i knew about the caffeine /fibro connection, my breasts used to feel lumpy for many years and that went away several years ago, Im not sure why. Whatever was going on last month was different ,it felt like they were trying to grow, as if in adolescence. i dont even think its a morgellons symptom for me because My breasts have been one place that has been symptom free, no itching or crawling there. Anj...glad your breasts are feeling back to normal too. This may sound silly but I think its important for women to love there breasts no matter what they look like. Theres so much importance placed on how they "should" look in our society. When mine were smaller I had a Bf try to tell me to get breast imlants, he didnt like them the way they were and I remember feeling bad about that. I love my breasts now , they arent perfect but I dont care . I massage them alot too because there are lots of lymph nodes in there that can get stagnant.plus it feeels so good All breasts are beautiful, no matter what size or shape!!

This is cancer for me Friski...all day long. I've seen basal and squamous tags, both slow growing...both the onset of Morgellons. I've been going through the last three months of pure pain. No doubt about it Friski. I feel so bad for the way our livestock is treated. I try to drink only boiled milk and we've been getting it hormone free. Even though, just tonight I couldn't resist scoping the skin of our boiled milk and sure enough there is NEVER any problem finding a gang of parasites that just don't belong there. However Friski...parasite stages produce many types of growth factors that are often found associated with cancer. I've not researched this much but just from a coupe key words in the search engine this is an excellent example. Just so you know...many don't know and I was a bit surprised when I learned myself. I mean shocked really. I'm glad your boobies are better. That'll be a lovely day when we are all feeling a bit better. www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0074-02762006000900022&lng=e&nrm=iso&tlng=eProtein kinases and schistosome biology Animal cells normally divide when stimulated by growth factors, which are generally produced by other cells and act via RTKs. Given that mutations leading to amino acid substitutions on protein kinases are common in cancer, diabetes and other diseases, a better understanding on how such enzymes regulate a wide range of functions may enable further therapeutic interventions (Plowman et al. 1999). Further knowledge on PTKs may provide new strategies for drug development, an approach intensively pursued in cancer research (Traxler 2003, Harari 2004). As sensing and responding to the environment are essential in the complex life cycle of schistosomes, the knowledge gained by studying signal transduction proteins and their mechanisms will be important for understanding the biology of the organism. The recent success in cancer treatment that includes specific tyrosine kinase inhibitors strongly validates the clinical relevance of basic research on tyrosine phosphorylation. Functional profiling of the tyrosine phospho-proteome is likely to lead to the identification of novel targets for drug discovery, providing a basis for novel molecular target approaches (Machida et al. 2003). Many of the 500 or so identified human protein kinases are attractive drug targets to treat cancer, inflammation processes and autoimmune diseases.

Carrie,Carrie, what did ya say? This is cancer, cancer is this. The things stabbed me several times left back shoulder. Later into this, it went around or through to my chest, under the arm, tried to fill my lungs, airway, throat. It gets all in your breast tissue.Got to slam it hard girl.Like no other. Yes, mine grew bigger also. I beat this stuff down.Thought it was going to kill me, drown me. The mucous got so bad.But I did it. For the caffiene problem and fibro cystic breast, use high gamma vitamin E.Once you make them let go, it starts to stop. They are all in your shoulders, arm pits, took there time and did it very slowly and cause no sores or itching.Never had a sore on breast. My sauna will be here in 7 days. I can't wait!Just slam it to heck and back. Get some muscle relaxers, it helps the pain a lot!Good luck.

PS I forgot to say also have you done a heavy metal detox? Use only a natural deo for arm pits that has baking soda in it. Some other things that might be good for some are, NSI resveratrol 100mg,CSI ultra skin antioxidant, avolon Organics Shampoo with lemon, for acid. From vita coast. OutletNutrition I found Vitamin C with lemom for more acid, it's called Pure C bio 600+lemon bioflavins Also Zyflamend from newchapter-Inflammation response Good N Natural Holy basil I also found spic & span works better than pinesol, have any of you tired it. This stuff hates latex, pillows from sears, latex backed curtains from jc penny, latex paint from walmarts or vaccume walls Home depot-cleaning section, those buckets of moisture contro works.Good for bathrooms, cars.Same area, looks like a bag of rocks, called lava rocks, put in air in take of air condition in home,in your car, attic. After a while, put out in the sunlight and it re-activates it Dry them out so they can live works the best. Hope it might help some of you.

Ive started to drink unsweetened almond milk and its not bad, in fact its pretty good! I'm sorry but i have a total mental block when it comes to cancer, i just cant think about it, It scares me too much. Several years ago a chiropractor I was seeing told me I had breast cancer through his kinesiology testing . He said it was too early for it to be detected with standard tests but early enough to treat and get rid of. He had me taking all kinds of stuff including juicing carrots everyday. I felt so sick for months on all that detox stuff I was taking. Even though I did everything he told me to do I would never allow the C word to enter my thoughts, I couldn't deal with it emotionally. I did the mammogram once and couldn't bring myself to do it again. i hated the idea of having my breasts squished so hard and have radiation run through them on top of it!It seemed more harmful than helpful to me. I'm so glad I did this other test. i cant tell you how relieved I am especially since I was having unusual pain for an entire month. i sure hope this helps spread the word about the new test that is in so many way superior to a mamogram . im sure its saved many peoples lives. Hope you feel better soon Carrie

Coffee lovers a safer coffee is Dunkin Donut java. Much better, less acid and does not seem to upset the system. Plus it tastes better.
